We bought a toy schnauzer from Royal Schnauzers and had him shipped to us in MI. When we got Archie he was soaked in his own urine, had a parasite, ear mites, ears full of hair and digestion issues. We spent over $700 on treatments and tests for the poor litte guy. The parasite and ear mites are gone, but he still has issues with his digestion. The only food he can eat without getting diarrhea or throwing up is his puppy food. We have tried a couple of treats, but hate to put him through the aftermath when they don't agree with him. Jamie Hawkins, the owner of Royal Schnauzers, told us that she wanted us to be satisfied and the least she could do is pay for the treatment of the ear mites and parasite. At this point we were less than a $100 in and we still have not been reimbursed after several months. I have sent a couple of e-mails and have not received a response from Jamie. If you are thinking of buying a schnauzer from Royal Schnauzers be careful. I even spoke to the vet Archie was supposedly taken to and he said everything looked good. I specifically asked what he looked at to make sure he was approved to fly and one of the things was his ears. There is no way he looked into his ears because the hair was too thick and they had a nasty smell from the ear mites. Buyer beware!

I bought a perfectly healthy and outstandingly well-socialized, beautiful, teacup schnauzer from Royal Schnauzers. They are such wonderful people, quality care and service. My vet checked out puppy the next day, and he as well as whole staff was impressed with Royal Schnauzers, the health, and care of my new baby. Thank you Jamie, for all you do ! I purchased a $2800 puppy from
Royal -Schnauzers, Jamie. Our puppy was very pretty (chocolate) and arrived via a flight we scheduled as non stop as not to be as stressful for her. We took her the very next morning to our vet for a wellness check up! She had a sever case of ear mites, and hookworms, had worms in her decal! Considering all those minor health issues, we didn't trust the "at home shot record" Jamie had attached on top of our puppies crate. And her records and date of birth did not match up. So to be on the safe side we spent the extra money and had her re-vaccinated, just to be safe. We did not want to chance her coming down with Parvo and see her possibly suffer more illness. Her ear mites took weeks before she was completely clear. Same with the worms, 2weeks later her fecal
was still positive for the worms. Finally with an injection of ivomectim by a licensed vet. ( a third vet visit) the worms and ear mites cleared up. This breeder has beautiful puppies, but she doesn't have healthy puppies and if you tell her your new puppy has some issues she isn't professional ... she borders on rude! Worst $2800 plus $500 shipping we ever spent. Thinking we are over the hurdle - But we are not, After 4 months our solid chocolate puppy started having bald spots show up on her back, along with spots of solid white hair. We saw our vet and a different vet and got the same news, she has hereditary coat allergies. We are choosing holistic limited ingredient food to help her. Today she's 8 months old and has hair loss and bald spots and patches of white spots on her back. She was sold to us as a solid chocolate. Beware! pretty puppies...YES but NOT healthy puppies! And you won't get any help or compassion from this breeder. $2800 dollars should buy an average healthy schnsuzer. Look around, there are better and healthier ones.

I just noticed your comments which brings to my mind the reasons why possibly you have issues with your 8 months old back in July 2015 is that something tells me that I'm glad I'm against all so called vaccinations including chemical de worming especially when I know just some of the poisoness chemical in the so called vaccinations hence probably after the first vaccinations you got ear mites etc and gut issues and then you go and poison him or her again with a second dose oh my I feel sorry for the poor soul because people sheeple support big pharma

First off this was 2014. And not all new puppy owners are aware that a licensed vet wouldn't have the puppy's best interest. The vet visit the breeder required us to visit within 24 hours of receiving the puppy.
Now the biggest complaint I voiced in 2014 was lack of this breeders advice/help in the matter stated. Which possibly could have prevented any unnecessary vaccinations ect.! As stated also this breeder had no accurate medical records sent with this puppy smh. This dog now resides with a friend of our family as she had behavioral issues as well as health. I stand by my original comments on Royal Schnauzer. Not a reputable breeder.
I have 2 beautiful schnauzer boys 3 and 6 years old ( definitely not from Royal Schnauzer) and I completely agree ... we don't vaccinate or worm or flea medicate these boys! As we have received advice and learned a lot from 2015.
Appreciate your Insight options.

Look, ... we have nothing personal against Royal Schnauzers (Jamie)- We only shared our experience with our purchase so buyers could be aware. Our $2800 dollar purchase, we received a puppy that was not healthy, More than 3 vet visits to clear up parasites, ear mites and still dealing with hereditary coat issues even today. Anyone with questions regarding Jamie and Royal Schnauzers feel free to contact us, we will share the emails from Jamie and our vet bills on this puppy. Good Luck choosing a good quality breeder.
