On Target Border Collies

We were put in touch with Lisa Kronz through a mutual friend a year ago April. We had just lost our Border Collie of 15yrs and were looking for a puppy. Let me state that I had NO contract with Lisa. In talking with her I told her I did not want a performance dog nor did I want to wait too long as my current dog is getting up in years. Not to worry she said she had several females going into heat that she would be breeding. She asked us to deposit $500 into her account which we did. We waited for 6 months and no puppies so I began looking elsewhere and we found a puppy we wanted through another breeder. I messaged Lisa to ask for the deposit back and she bluntly told me she did not have it and I would have to wait. My question to her was, what right did she have to spend our deposit? So, I waited until I saw she had a litter which was after the first of the year. When I finally got ahold of her she denied having a litter yet it was posted on her web page that she did. I was told when the puppies go home she would send a refund. A few days before she messaged me and told me the puppies had died. Parvo, I was told, yet she continues to breed. She said she would send me half which I agreed to. Two weeks no check, must of got lost in the mail she said, will send one with a tracking #. Again, waited, she had sent me a bogus # because she never mailed it. Finally, after all this I got half the deposit back. So, now I wait again and when I see she had a litter I contact her again for the rest of the deposit, again she denies having any puppies when again they are posted on her website. I, in all honesty could not go through this again with her, I told her to keep the $250 and I would use my energy to let people know what she is really like. She lied so many times I think she even believed what she was saying. And why is she still breeding when she had parvo on her property, is she telling prospective buyers about this, I sure would want to know. Stay away from her there are plenty of good breeders out there that won't take your money and spend it on god only knows!
