I am sure you are well aware of the serious situation in Bridgwater, Somerset and the surrounding villages with the lack of postal deliveries.
I have had no post, along with my neighbours, for nearly four weeks. I am waiting for my Blue Badge and my next door neighbour a bank card. My badge was dispatched four weeks ago and my neighbours bank card two weeks.
Many, many people are suffering because hospital appointments are being missed and holiday documents mislaid etc.
Our local MP has been involved and he and us are told the delays are because of sickness and staff shortages. Many people are queuing outside of the main sorting office out of desperation to collect their outstanding mail but they are waiting in excess of two hours. I am not able to do this due to my disability. The office is only open minimal hours.
Can you please get the issues sorted so that we can receive our post please, as I said I am desperate for my blue badge. Feedback of your actions would be appreciated.
