Roku has a thief on its payroll. Someone at Roku accessed my private account and stole my credit card information to set up a recurring payment of $10.80 for Roku for Hulu LLC which I never ordered. Funny thing, this charge does not appear in my online account. I made a one time purchase for a new Roku remote for $10.80 on June 3 which was paid by my credit card on file. On July 11 the new Roku Hulu LLC charge appeared on my credit card for the very same amount of $10.80. I received more help and attention from Hulu and my credit card bank than I received from Roku. Roku clearly is not concerned about fraud or protecting my personal information. The matter has been referred to the Visa Fraud Unit.
Recommendation: Do not trust Roku with your credit card information. Move to FireTV or GoogleTV devices.
