Simon and Schuster content inappropriate

Purchased "History's Worst Jack The Ripper" by Michael Burgan. Publisher Simon And Schuster.

The back cover lists the Ages of 8-12. I assumed since age 8 was listed that the content was appropriate for an 8 year old.

Instead, page 2 reads, "She often walked the streets at night looking for men who would pay her to have sex with them."

Simon and Schuster, you disgust me.

This book is far from appropriate for an 8 year old.

Change the AGE on the book!

Simon and Schuster ken jennings

This author of children's books recently bullied an 11-year old boy via Twitter. Not sure how Simon and Schuster can support someone like this! The comments he made towards Barron Trump were totally inappropriate and his relationship with Simon and Schuster should be terminated. We are constantly told to protect children, yet Ken Jennings openly attacked Baron's feelings after seeing Kathy Griffin holding his beheaded father's head in effigy. This is a total assault on the psyche of young person and Ken Jennings should be totally ashamed of his comments. Simon and Schuster, time to man-up and part ways with Ken Jennings!

The silence from Simon and Schuster on this matter with their author of children's books Ken Jennings is deafening. Clearly they care more for money than they do for children. A man that bullies a child should not prosper as a children's author. A publisher that employs a bully to write children's stories should not prosper either. Neither will get a penny from me. There are other publishers, other authors.

Absolutely shameful Mr. Jennings! The child is 11 years old. You are both a hypocrite and a bully.

That poor little boy must have been scared to death thinking that the awful display Kathy Griffin did was really his Dad. Being President of the United States, Baron is well aware of some of the horrors that happen from ISIS. And to have a children's author be the blunt of thinking its funny? Really, disgraceful.

Ken Jennings should be terminated immediately. There is absolutely no excuse for his hateful attack on a child.

“Barron Trump saw a very long necktie on a heap of expired deli meat in a dumpster. He thought it was his dad & his little heart is breaking, ” wrote Mr. Jennings shortly before 2:30 p.m. Eastern time.

Ken Jennings, has a serious mental health issue, when he can tweet something so horrible, about an eleven-year old boy, after seeing a photo of his fathers severed head on the news. Not only did Jennings, act irrational, he directed his rants toward the President of the United States of America's, son. He is un-American.

How can Simon and Schuster, in good conscious, continue to publish a Bully's work, when bullying has caused children to commit suicide!

I don't care who you are or how smart you seem to be, anyone who would make such a hateful comment about ANY CHILD should never be a writer of children's books! Why would any publisher continue to publish a children's book by a man who publically tweeted such an hateful and degrading remark toward a child of any age?
