Pure Talk issue began 8/23/23 when I responded to their radio ads. I spoke with an agent in TX. Was told a new and free Samsung A23 5G would be shipped, service would be established and only then would my credit card be charged. Phone arrived 8/29/23. Service established. My card had been charged $48.88 on 8/23/23. Pure Talk stated that was the agreement I...

Cancelled their service. They still took $60 out of my account for the following month. I owed $60 for my phone payoff. I said just keep the money and call it good. They said I was right. Then I get another bill. I call, they said too bad. I owed for a full month of service because the port took a few hours plus the balance of the phone. So $120. Then I...

I have spent nearly 5 hours messing with Pure Talk now. They are the absolute WORST. Customer service is hapless, witless, clueless and powerless. They don't even have the ability to track and order. Unbelievable. I have been Transferred / Hung up on 6 times in the last 3 days. Pretty sure that they should strike the word "Service" when they do this. Do...

Bought 2 phones and was going to transfer numbers, straight talk wouldn't release his number. So I had to send his phone back. Then I sent mine back. Mine still had information in it. They couldn't get in it. So they saying I owe 181.00$. They took my money out of checking. They sent phone back to me so I could clear it out. Cause they said it had to be shipped to avoid charge. Now they saying something still wrong. I need money back.

Pure Talk charged a huge fee for unusable service

Poor to non existent service

We signed up as we trusted (unfortunately) the referral source. Once we got phone service it was intermittent at best. We called customer service dozens of times. They would go through the list of things to do on the phone but when that didnt work, that was it. Never was there an attempt to actually fox it. When we finally cancelled, we were charged an exorbitant cancellation fee even though there is no contract. So we paid for service we did not receive. Never use puretalk.

Pure Talk Nokia 5.3

I bought service and phone on the 6th of April with delivery of 3 business days.

Much later I called to find out the phone had been shipped. They informed me Fed Ex had delivered it on the 9th. I explained that I had not received a phone and they gave me the routing number to call Fed Ex. They checked and found it had been delivered to an address in a large city. The recipient signed with my first initial and last name. I live 60 miles West of this city. Called PT back and relayed the information and was told they would not replace the phone that I had already paid for. My credit card shows a purchase from PT for $127. I suspect that the address was wrong but they blamed Fed Ex and I would need to buy another phone.

Desired outcome: Replacement with a NEW phone of my choice and refund for service

Pure Talk I would like to speak wit a supervisor or at least stop paying for a non-existent phone.

September 2020 I purchased two new Nokia phones. Late February my new phones stopped working. I tried to call customer service for three days and gave up after waiting two plus hour per call. On the third try, and another two hours wait, I finally spoke with a Pure Talk representative. I explained that my recently purchased phones stopped working. The Representative told me that my NOKIA phones were no longer supported and that I would have to buy two new phones and there was nothing she could do about it. Two phones five months old and useless. I was told it was an AT&T problem, not Pure Talk. Since a phone is required where I work for attendance records like punch time I was desperate to resolve the problem quickly. I bought another two phones this time on a contract so I could afford them. (Is the dropped support a ploy to up sell more phones?) One of the two new phones was defective right out of the box. I called Pure Talk again and, after another two hour wait, the representative sent me to “Technical Support” and another two hour wait. I reached Technical support and they were not able to help me. The first representative did manage to mix the sim cards up with programming on their end and I lost all of my contacts, texts and photo’s. I was told that I have to return the phone in it’s original packaging, at my expense. (USPS $8.50) I returned the phone within the required time. After six days I reviewed my Pure Talk bill and noted that I was going to be charges April 1 for the defective phone. I call Pure Talk to check on the status of the defective phone and, after another two hour wait, was told that they received the phone and issued a refund but somehow the refund was not posted to my account. I stated that I simply want to replace the defective phone and keep the existing contract as it is, not buy a new one. The representative consulted her supervisor and was told that I have limited options. Option One, to purchase another phone with contract while paying for the contract for the bad phone. (Two phones Three contracts) Option Two, Purchase a phone outright, with no contract But still have to buy out the contract on the defective phone for $108.00. I am being penalized twice over for Pure Talk’s dereliction. I reminded the representative that there is a Third option. I told her to email me a figure to end all business with Pure Talk. I’ve had it!

Pure Talk sells me two obsolete phones with no warning that they will become useless after only five months. I buy another two phones this time with contracts and one is bad. I’m told to buy yet another phone and pay for a contract for a non existent phone.

30 March 2022. After doing research on my own I discovered that the AT&T phones I purchased in September ARE supported by AT&T. They gave me bad information. I called PT again only to find that although they received the defective phone, it is tied up at the factory to verify that it is bad and that I will still have to pay the monthly fee for a phone I no longer possess nor ever used.

I was also told that Pure Talk assigns the wrong number to the one existing phone I have. Two phones were assigned to one number. They control that, I don’t. Needless to say, I am now a month into a fiasco and every time I contact Pure Talk it continues to worsen with no help in sight.

I purchased a brand new phone in December and in April I was no longer able to receive data service. Call pure talk they told me I had the wrong phone I told him I bought this phone from you and it is 5g. they did not respond. Customer service was helpful but did not answer any questions. I ended up canceling my service. I Asked for refund for the month of service I had just paid for. I have not seen a refund. Still had to pay for the full amount for the phone. All I received in my email was a notice letting me know that my warranty for my phone had been canceled. They never even let me know that I had a warranty for this phone I got no instructions with it. I will never recommend this company.

I called Pure Talk 2/23 see if they had service in my area, Cooper assured me they did, but could not verify if the phone I had would work with their sim card. Just go ahead and sign up, if it doesn't work, you have 30 days to get a refund. Recieved the sim card (2/28). Spent 2 hours trying to get it activated. Email said your phone is locked. I called...
