Pure Talk issue began 8/23/23 when I responded to their radio ads. I spoke with an agent in TX. Was told a new and free Samsung A23 5G would be shipped, service would be established and only then would my credit card be charged. Phone arrived 8/29/23. Service established. My card had been charged $48.88 on 8/23/23. Pure Talk stated that was the agreement I verbally approved. They never emailed a copy of the agreement until more than 2 wks. after this snafu began. Multiple calls to Pure Talk resulted in agents reading from identical scripts. No assistance provided. Names available if needed. On 9/15/23 the phone failed to charge. I called Pure Talk. They stated my 14 day warranty had expired. I was directed to Samsung. They stated Pure Talk was responsible, to re-contact them. Pure Talk stated I had to call Samsung. The phone was warranted 14 days per the "contract" I agreed to. Back and forth with "supervisors" of both companies yielded nothing. Finally a Spvsr. located "in Texas" (she said) stated Pure Talk would honor no warranty after 14 days, my issues were with Samsung. She did claim to provide me free service for the month of October and a $15 credit toward November 2023's service, but no phone would be forthcoming or replaced by Pure Talk. Today, 10/1/23, my credit card was again charged by Pure Talk and they refuse to honor their commitments, refuse to replace the non-charging phone and refuse to assist in any way. Script readers. Their hype is about their great support of Veterans here in U.S. Do not believe the hype: Pure Talk wants your credit card info, will send you a refurbished/non-working phone and fail to send any contract. Thy have no respect for Veterans (especially a 77 year old like myself) and only want the credit card info, which they will utilize for 36 months for a $299.99 Samsung phone they stated was "free". Avoid Pure Talk and their script-reading minions at all costs. Once they have your information your card will be charged at their discretion, and they will refuse to assist in any shape or manner.

Desired outcome: I want Pure Talk to send a working Samsung 23A 5G phone. Upon receipt of working phone I will gladly return this non-charging phone with a certified tracking label (provided by Pure Talk).
