Pliatrol anti wrinkle cream
They offer a free trial of their cream for the cost of shipping. They combine their ad and product shipment along with an anti aging pill. Before I received the sample, I received a call that another shipment was being sent. I imediately called and canceled the entire thing. Three months later, I had a charge for $83.95. When I called they told me that my cancelation only applied to the aging pill and not to the cream. This is a total scam intended to hit the elderly.

Buyer Beware- I recently fell victim to a very clever advertisement scam. A free sample of Pliatrol anti-wrinkle was offered online, I paid $5.00 for shipping charges. I received the free sample and I thought transaction complete. Not so, for in a month I received another bottle of Pliatrol which I did not order. I called Pliatrol customer service and was told that according to the free order if you did not cancel within 14 days your order went on automatic and you would be shipped Pliatrol monthly at a cost of $85.00. I was told that this was spelled out when I ordered the free sample. I did not remember seeing this information. I went back and checked online and on the bottom of the page under the heading of Satisfaction Guarantee, after a product description was the contract. It was also written in small lettering. I've learned a valuable lesson!

I ordered two products on-line from Pliatrol on a free trial basis. After two weeks I called their customer service department and alerted them to the fact that I had never received either product. A week later after not seeing anything I called them again. Finally one of the the items came but not the other. I decided at that time that since they had not lived up to the terms of their contract by sending my product I would called them and cancel my orders. At first they told me that I had passed the 14 day period for returning my product even though it took them over a month to provided me with the first product. They said they would cancel my order if I returned the product I received and not bill me for anything. I immediately returned the product and included a signed receipt slip of which I got confirmation that they had received my shipment. I thought all was done until I received two letters from a collection agency requesting that I immediately pay $85.00 for each product - one that I received and sent back and the other that I never got. I have contacted both the collection company and Pliatrol with no success. The collection company put the claims in dispute but did not cancel the claim against me. The customer service department informed me that it was now out of their hands because they had sent my account to the collection agency and could no longer view it. Then they hung up on me. I tried to call them back, but each time they would not speak with me about this matter and hang up. This company should have their business license revoked and not be able to scam any more people.
Warning: My advice is DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE
I purchase Pliatrol with the understanding that it would be the cost of shipping only. I never heard anything again until now.
4/15/10: I just got off the phone with a debt collection agency telling me I agreed to an $83.95 charge for this cream. Jake, from Tiburon Financial insinuated that I was fully aware I was agreeing to pay a monthly fee for my FREE SAMPLE! I called the company some months ago to advise them I didn't want the "free" product and they said they would take care of it. Ha! This is how they take care of their potential customers. Next, a complaint on the BBB website. What a rip off!
Pliatrol is a scan somebody got to do something with this so called company. i ordered the free trial and cancel the next day cause i broke out spoke with sell person"shawn" on 9/21/09 now 6 months i received a letter from a collector company regarding pliatrol i didnt remember who they were until i went online. But i have my bill and the time and date when i called to cancel hopefully i can get help.Bre
I too fell for the Pliatrol scam, I am now being asked to pay $133.95. I told them I had cancelled the order after I had been billed & paid for one month at a tune of $83.00 for each the Pliatrol and RezV Clear that I ordered at the same time. 6 months ago I had the cancellation confirmation numbers, now I don't, little did I know they would try to get more money out of me. It has now been sent to a collections agency & I'm getting phone calls! Lesson learned.
I fell for the same scam from Pliatrol...called to cancel and they'd already shipped out second bottle of product, not refundable...so I paid $90 on credit card. That was July 2009, it's now March 2010 and I just received a collections notice from collection agency and it doesn't have an amount (I paid the charges on credit card).
I canceled the service in August and paid for product they shipped...now I get a collections letter? I called the collector and it's a small outfit and my call went to voice mail.

I am one of the many also scammed by Pliaprol. "Free Offer", , , billed $86.47, and never even got anything else. NO, , , IT DOES NOT WORK. When I called to get my money back, they argued with me and hung up. I called and got someone else who said they would cancel my membership. What membership. I am going to my credit card company, and will ask how to put these people out of business. ALSO, , got scammed by "Smoke51.com" Free electronic cig, , , pay shipping. Same deal, now I am a member...? Am sending everything back, hope I get my $119 back. Brigid
I too have been scammed and mychecking account overdrawn. It is 9-23-09 and I will be filing a complaint with BBB. BE CAREFUL OF ANY FREE SAMPLES? The one company is Cleanse Fast 500 and they are out of the country, RSB in FLORIDA
