De-Age reviews and complaints
fraud
I am sending this as a "ditto" to California's complaint as the same thing happened to me, except my "ad" read page 28, June 2010. Thank heaven I was alert to realize no on I know would send me something without signing it, plus no regular postage stamp. If you notice, page was not torn out of magazine, but neatly cut w/craft scissors!

I received a page torn out of a magazine in an envelope with no return address with a hand-written note with my first name that read "Call fast, it works. I only paid shipping!" The ad was for De-Age wrinkle serum. On the back of the page was Finance, Stock Markets around the World, page 28, April 2010. No one i know would send me anything without signing...

Received an unsolicited mailer about wrinkle removal products . Wondering how they got my name and address, I called and did some sleuthing. I asked one representative how much the free product would cost. Her reply: Only $13.95. I asked how whya free product cost 13.95, and she answered that it was for shipping and handling. I asked if additional products would be sent and charged to my card. Response: "Only if you ask for it." I then asked for the manager, whose name is Scott West. When asked if he knew the BBB rating, he said no. I informed him it was D+ because of issues with billing/collection and refund/exchange issues. No response, other than to ask if I wanted a sample. I also asked him if he had seen the complaints on www.complaintsboard.com. He responded that he hadn't and would not view them. When I read several of them to him, including one from a previous employee who reports that sales reps receive cash bonuses when they secure a big sale, he declined to comment. He also declined to give me the name of the company owner, or his own supervisor. (He said he was THE supervisor for customer service).
I would never order from this company. Until they can give straight answers, and you can feel confident that it is on the up and up, I recommend to stay away. The BBB rating is a red flag, as are all the other comments where people think they are getting a free sample, yet get billed later for hundreds of dollars for a product they did not order.
BTW, when I asked Scott West why the shipping was so high for a small sample, he said, "We have to package them carefully because they are in glass bottles."

Does not work
Well, I was told that this De-Age will work on my hands and arms and will also take away brown spots. Let me tell you, all of that is a lie. I am returning my 6 month supply that I was suckered into buying. I was told that if I did not buy right then, when and if I called back to order, I could not save money and would have to pay the regular price, which happens to be OUTRAGEOUS. Good thing for the MONEY BACK PROMISE cause its all going back.

The parent company is Perfection International Skin Care LTD [protected]. They have two websites deageskincare.com and perfectionintl.com. This company is a SCAM. they have three different lines of Anti-Aging Serums: De-Age & Renew, SX Cosmeceuticals Firming Cream, and A Younger Look. All three lines are anti- wrinkle cream or serums where you can get a free sample when you call, but you have to pay the shipping. For the US its $13.95, for the UK its 10lbs then once they get you to set up for samples and have your Credit Card info they pitch you on the "Full Size Bottles" which last 30days. They claim these bottles come with a 60 day unconditional money back guarantee whether the bottles have been used or not. Its a SCAM. people have waited months to get refunds some never do. depending on where you call from you get the center located in the US. They claim to be a UK based Company (which is located off of 124 Baker Street 3rd Floor, London, UK yet they have a sister company in the US (call Center) on 8350 E. Evans Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85260, or the main hub in the US is
15560 N. Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd, B4-407, Scottsdale, AZ 85260. The BBB has this company listed as a C- on there website but because the company uses so many different names its hard to pinpoint. Its awful how they pray on older people not just women but men too. They claim the product can be used on anyone aging from 40-90 years old with an emphasis on "MORE MATURE SKIN" they claim the samples have a retail value (for the US & Canada $65, UK 60lbs) yet the samples are no bigger than a tub of chap-stick. Its horrible. I understand that people have to work, but you would think the reps in the call center in the US would have a little more respect for them selves and not work for such a shady company. The woman on the Aids is an employee of the company and I have to say she does not look like she has ever used the product, and if so that's proof enough it DOES NOT work. Be aware the aids sent out are either a post card that states "Call Fast, I only paid shipping" or a page that looks like its been torn out of a magazine that will have your first name printed on the top stating the same thing. So people think that a friend or family member has sent this to them when in reality they were sent out by the company itself. The product varies from a 1 month at $170 to a 4 month at over $500 for the US & Canada, and 1 month at 130lbs to a 4 month of 375lbs for the UK. This company sells to all of the US, Canada and the UK. So PLEASE BE AWARE!
It caused my skin to break out. I was not going to continue using a product that caused further skin problems. In addition it caused extreme dryness. They had a money back guarantee, let's see if they live up to their promise, if I ever get their mailing address. Do you know the mailing address. I responded to a person's comment who did not like the product either and she was mailing her products back so if you could help me with a return address I would appreciate it. You sound like you are a person who works for the company, are you? Thanks, Gwenny
Good luck trying to find a return address. I was also dissatisfied and went to the post office with my products and realized I did not have a return mailing address. If you know the mailing address to return the products would you please post it so that I could return my products? I found they made my skin dry and did nothing to any wrinkles! Thank you, Deborah
Anti-wrinkle
They do not give a physical address or a web site! Only a telephone # ! I have been contacted several times by De-Age, and encouraged to try their "miracle" wrinkle-remover product! Finally I called them, however before I ordered the "free sample", for only "shipping carges", I asked some questions- I finally got some answers after a great deal of probing a...

I bought $163 worth but I called for 2 days to cancel the auto ship. 2 separate #'s busy for 2 days. My bank which is BOA gladly canceled any further debits for me! Should've read up before I ordered! Beware!
This company did the same thing thing to my 90 year old grandmother. They claim she ordered FULL size bottles and knew full well what she was ordering when she called. She was then placed n auto ship to receive more at the price of $488.75 per shipment. She received (3) shipments before I found it! She had no idea what she ordered! I shipped all, products back and asked for a refund in full. Got the run around and was credited for one order and eventually after they "reviewed" the tape of my grandmother's original phone call, they deemed her competent and that she knew what she was buying and understood everything! She's 90, on a fixed income and is hard of hearing! She NEVER would have ordered $1500 worth of firming cream! They felt they were generously offering me 25% back n the other orders out of the 60 day window! I'm not done yet with them! Be aware!
I have had two payments go out of my bank account two days running! I ordered two products one face serum one eye serum! (paid nearly £8) One week after receiving them £79.95 was taken from my account and the following day £75.95 I am greatly distressed by this scam as are other older victims! As a pensioner of 73 with only a state pension each week, I had been leaving a little in bank toward my MOT this month and car tax at the end of month! (Otherwise I would have gone in red with bank and got bank charges
as well)
My mom received a personalized mail with brochure inside with hand written note on corner. She thought that someone she knew sent her the brochure. Wrong, they had gotten her name and address from somewhere. I think since she has ordered from readers digest and a few other mailers, her name was sold or shared. She phoned 800 number and was talked into $189.00ca plus monthly billing and product. Her first shipment was 3 small bottles. I had her cancel the monthly membership and cancel her cc card so she would not get billed anymore. This company has no right to bait elderly with what looks like personal mail.
"she was misleadingly sold them by a very pushy sales rep"
"this company are evil preying on the elderly and need stopping"
Did the company call your Mom, or was it the other way around?
if only i had found out this info before my mum had ordered from them she thought she was getting a sample and paying just shipping, and before she knew had bought these stupid bottles that are pretty worthless.
in other words she was misleadingly sold them by a very pushy sales rep!she has only just told me about this and she got the bottles in jan this year!
bank are unable to do anything as she gave them her details
so am now onto trading standards to see if they can do anything.
i notice on one of the sites there is a email address has anyone tried to send a email to them?
this company are evil preying on the elderly and need stopping...wish mum had told me before i would have stopped her calling them.
a very hard lesson she has learnt...

i am a 49 year old woman and ordered renew deage 6 years ago now. i recieved monthly shippings and so i ended up with extras and stopped the other orders with no problems.now i have used other products but none have worked as quickly as renew deage. i found 2 bottles in bottom of my drawer and used it on the week end and when i went to work on mon and tuesday everyone said how good that i look! i had to go look in the mirror and yes there was better complexion and some tightening. oh did i say i have rosacea and that was lookin good to.
I was about to order this product - the flier I received at home did not even say the name of the product or have a website. I phoned the 800 number and got the name, then hung up and searched under de-age - came up with this list of complaints. . .I will not be ordering this product. Thanks so much for the warning
