Pirtek Technicians

I haven not used the services of Pirtek but I NEVER will. I have driven commercial vehicles over 15 years and I know that as a technician you are to be alert and abide by the rules of the road. The technician and the vehicles they drive are a rolling advertisement for the company. After having a near collision with one of the drivers of a Pirtek vehicle... my impression of the company is: unprofessional, incompetent, rude, selfish, inconsiderate and completely unreliable! This driver used a city street as his personal racetrack and the vehicles on the road were his "cones" not to mention the tailgating, swerving in and out of traffic, cutting cars off and causing them to slam on their brakes. My life and the safety of others on the road is not worth the slogan on the back of their truck: "ETA1 Hour". Why would I invite a company like that into any part of my life and pay for their services? Never, never, never!

Do yourself a favor and spend elsewhere. This shop is not tooled or trained to any type of real repair. Basic shop items don't exist. Items like, a real work bench, a vise, no test stand, and everyday hand tools. They only carry the high end hose. Up sailing and over kill. The send 80% of the repair items out to Hook Industrial. I would simply like to give more of the picture for the vendors out there who use Pirtek. Pirtek technician pay is 18$/hour. Technician monthly bonuses depend on gross sales, which goals are between $15, 000 and $20, 000. maximum hourly bonus for a month is $5/ hour.
