lean body burn SCAM / Never recieved product

I purchased this weight losst program for a 10 day trial period for $3.87, never recieved the product and my account was charged three seperate time. The first charge was for the $3.87 10 day trial period, the second charge was for $.03 and the third charge (the real kicker) was for $87.47. I have called this company on several occasions and getthe same story. We are sorry and it will be sent out right away. This is teh same story each time. I was lucky and managed to get the unauthorized subscription cancelled but only after I made them know that I was a licensed PI. They said that they could not do a refund because I was past my 10 day trial period. What a joke! I ordered this crap back in July and called them again today. At first I could got the same story and the alleged customer service rep got scared and hung up. I called back and after being put on hold the so called customer service rep pretended not to hear me and hung up. (Her so called agent ID number is 511 and her name (which is probably fake) is Samantha). I called them back and now the phone number will not ring...I am by far not thru with this one.

I would like to stop paying for & recieving the dietary supplements. I am from the UK & i have been charged three time's, the most they toke was £97.45! It clearly stated on the site that it was FREE and the only payment was for shipping. I got the pill's before the first £62.97 was taken from my account. That was on the 29th June 2010 and i am getting sick and tired of them taking MY money. I have phoned my bank countless amount's of time's & the said they can't do anything's as i have given them my bank details. I can't afford to ring the United States to stop them taking my money. They are taking more than half of my wage & it's not on! I really need help to get this stopped! I need my money back! HELP ME PLEASE!

lean body burn charging my credit card

I orderd a couple of products on a free trail Pure Cleanser Gold and Colon Pure Cleanser. (Mind you in the small print the free trail starts from the day you submit the request) So I have have only just received one of the products 11 days later. On my bank statement there is a charge from this leanbodyburn waiting to go through for AUS $100. I phoned my bank but they can not do anything until it is paid.
I do not know who this company is and can only guess that the above products are linked to it.
Really annoyed...would like to know if there is anything I can do to complain about this scam

lean body burn Acai Cleanse

The two products advertised Acai Max Cleanse Pill and Daily Detox Pill are worthless and a scam. I tried several times to contact the companies to cancel my order via email and by phone and did not get a resonse back either through email or by leaving multiple phone messages. I finally took a day off work to call repeatedly on one day after finding that these two companies had not only charged me for my free trial-(which was in total about $5), but an extra 149.95 by one company and $87 dollars from the other. This is not free in my book. I was charged these 30 day product costs from the onset and not provided with the 10 day "free trial" promised in the fine print. So, not only was the "free trial" misleading it was a false statement. Additionally, I was never able to open any of the attachments they sent and never got the customer support to correct this. Please do not waste your time or money on these products. As far as I can tell they are worthless!

As a final comment, I called the Acai Max Cleanse company this morning (Lean Body Burn) and finally spoke with a person by the name of Antoinette who was very unhelpful and could not give me the simplest of answers about whether or not my account was charged for a second shipment. The worst part was she guaranteed me that she had sent an email to my home account that would allow me to cancel my obligation. While on the line for several minutes, the email never arrived and even though I asked her about this her response was, "well, if you don't get an email in 2 or 3 hours, just call again". Just how am I supposed to ever be free of this company if every contact with them is false and unsatisfactory?

Do not become involved with this company! I would be happy to speak to anyone regarding this group.

Beware of scams for supplements. I ordered Acai Max Cleanse for a trial sample.I was charged $3.87 for shipping.I then received the wrong product I received Maximum Burn Xtreme which is more caffeine then anything. After contacting the customer service I was told shipping made a mistake the real product would be coming. It never came after several calls to them I found out they had already took out $87.47 from my credit card and still no product.I cancelled my order and was told I would receive a full refund. They only refunded $20.00 after talking to a "superviser" I was told that was all they would do for me and they hung up on me!Do not order from this company they are scams!

The lean body burn folks are the same folks that did the Ever Brite Smile for sample of teeth whitner. I lost $87.47. Recently a $1.49 charge was posted via my debit card number. They were testing the water to see if that number is still valid. I had just pd some bills online & did not want to cancel the card that day. I am waiting for my Macys payment to go through. I will be in the bank tomorrow to cancel the card. They will come back for a second helping months down the road. Cancel your cards now. I never ordered any lean body burn.

This company is a scam. They offer a free trial under the pretense of a CBS news trial which seemed promising. The product ordered was purely an Acia Berry product; however the one sent was called Maximum Burn Xtreme not the same product or packaging as advertised on the web site. I have now been charged for two extra bottles of this product that has not arrived. The company has not sent me a confirmation on the original order or any other order which I have not placed. I am going to have to cancel my credit card in order to keep from being billed for more product. Be ware!

I sincerely agree with (pissed) I was also ripped off of $87.47 hard earned money, thinking I would be helping my self. This amount

was taken out of my bank account

I am a senior citizen, aged 70 and live on my social security check and a small Pension from when I worked.

I also have stage 4 cancer so I am unable to work! I need that money back!

I ordered this products as obviously so many others have with similar results. However, I have gone a couple of steps futher than what some of you have. Hopefully this can help somewhat.

I like you order the trial and was charged $3.87 on 6/29/10. On 7/8/10 I sent an email cancelling any future orders and/or charges to my credit card. On 7/9/100 I followed up on the email to ensure that yes it had been received. I spoke with Mary, operator 69 and got confirmation that the order had been cancelled due to non receipot of the item.

On 7/27/10 I reviewed my credit card statement and noticed several charges from leanbodyburn8887879668. July 9 a charge of $87.47 apperared. Note this is the date of verbal confirmation of cancellation. On 7/16/10 I saw another charge from leanbodyburn8887879668 for ann additional $1.49

I called the number and again spoke with operator 69 Mary and went off demanding a refund for the fraudulent charge. Of course I got no where. I called back and spoke with supervisor Camille, once again I went off demanding a refund. During the conversation she admitted to me that the order had been cancelled in a timely fashion, and agreed that the follow up phone call had been processed and she agreed that the product had never been received. However, sh ethen confirmed that an order had been shipped and received to an incorrect address with confirmaion of shipping. All told everything I did was on the up and up even down to mail confirmation. Yet she still contends that I do not get my money back. Quite possibly I may qualify for a $20.00 reimbursement.

Ths did nothing but really tick me off. So here are the following things I have put into place so far today.
I have obtained a physical street address of

Weight Loss Systems
3609 North 29th Ave
Hollywood, FL 33020

I have filed a complaint with the Gonernors office -Department of Consumer Affairs
Complaints Division.

I have written a blog on /URL removed/

And peopleclaim.com

I have notified my bank of the fraudulent activity and on going history of this comapny and they are processing the refund on my behalf

I am writing on this blog to inform other people of possible ways to get the word out about these people.

I hope this helps with anyone else this happens to. Do not let these folks get away with this.

I agreed only to a one time fee of $3.87 for shipping of a trial bottle of their supplement. I have since been charged $87.47 TWICE for product never wanted, nor received.. The webpage originally ordered from locked up, and it was never clear the order was ever processed.

I had surgery the day the first charge went through, so never caught it. The second was caught "in processing" and the bank could do nothing until it cleared.. It was then I discovered the first charge..

I called the Lean Body Burn phone number given to Bank of America to dispute the charges, and I was told the computers are being upgraded and cannot be accessed.. I was told to call back later in the afternoon or the following day. I immediately suspected fraud and canceled the card..

The next day (today) I called the number again and spoke with Jacob Williams (he had a hard time pronouncing his own name) who said they were in Florida. He claimed that I could not get a refund because I canceled the card! I said you have my address and to send me a check.. He claimed to not have my address, and that they were a contract company working for the Lean Body Burn company. I asked for his supervisor, and he said no and it won't do any good.. I asked for the address of his company and he refused to give it to me.. I asked for the address and a means to contact Lean Body Burn, and he had no idea.. He said go to the website.. I told Jacob Milliams (how he pronounced it) that he is accessory to the fraud and that if he didn't give me the info, he is also liable.. It didn't seem to phase him..

I would love to these people and assist in throwing them all in jail..

If you are one of the many who have been scammed by Lean Body Burn or DietMax, we all have to contact the FTC. I was told by one of their agents that they only take action if they see a pattern. Their number is [protected]
To contact the FL Atty. General, go to myfloridaylegal.com or call [protected]
You can also complain to the Division of Consumer Services in your own state.
How many hundreds or thousands are being scammed that don't bother to write a complaint or take action? We must contact the authorities and close these crooks down now!

Ordered product, 17 days later no product, called customer service, they could not tell me when it shipped, would not transfer me to shipping dept, they started offering $20 off on my next order? Told them no product by tomorrow I would cancel. Googled Lean Body Burn, the results were all the same - this company is a ripoff. I called my credit card co and filed a dispute, I will call lean Body Burn and cancel my order...stay away from these people... what happens is they offer 10 day trial for $3.87...they dont ship you product, if you dont cancel in 10 days they automatically bill you $87.00 after 10 days, the trial period begins the day you order product not 10 days from when you get product, ..the problem is obvious, no product in 10 days...they bill you automatically it is a rip off.

lean body burn Unauthorized charge

I was surfing the net and saw a link from CNN.com for an Acai Berry Diet Cleanse Supplement 30 DAY FREE TRIAL offer. PLEASE dearly note that on the main page of www.leanbodyburn.com that there were NO TERMS OF AGREEMENT! It just asked for Name, Address, Country, Telephone, and Email Address and Credit Card Information. I figured since it was associated with CNN that it would be legit. I was told that all I had to do was pay a $3.87 shipping fee for one bottle of 60 supplement pills for a 30 DAY FREE TRIAL OFFER! I said "Wow I am gonna try this!" I ordered it on 6/21/10. And I NEVER recieved the product! And now its is 6/30/10. I checked my bank statement and it said I was charge $87.47 for LEANBODYBURN8887879668. I called my bank immediately to dispute this charge as I DID NOT authorize nor was I informed of this transaction. And the bank said since the order was "pending" there was nothing they could do as of yet. I called [protected] and in the past 2 days 6-29-10 thru 6/30/10 I have call about 14 to 20 times...12 to 13 of those phones calls I was told "their systems were down and to call back in 3 to 4 hrs. and then I was HUNG UP ON ALL 12 to 13 TIMES! (that right there showed suspicious behavior from the company! I mean what comany hangs up on you except fraudulent companies?!? And the times I did get through to customer service..they had middle-eastern accents and giving phony names like Blair, and Dino Lopez, and Stephanie, etc. And EVEYONE of them were RUDE to me! I told them they were advertising falsely online offering a 30 DAY free trail offer and then finding out after the fact that it was actually a 10 DAY FREE TRIAL offer and if I didn't call up to cancel...they would charge my card. But I did not read that anywhere! NO TERMS OF AGREEMENT ANYWHERE ON THE WEBSITE OR IN MY EMAIL CONFIRMATIONS!
(So I told them I DID NOT received the product and it was already 8 days after I ordered it!) (And even so if it was a 10 DAY FREE TRAIL! Why was I CHARGED $87.47 on the 8th or 9th DAY of the so called FREE TRAIL OFFER? I told them I wanted my money refunded and I only have the "word" of this company that they emailed their billing department and my money should be issued back to me in 2 to 3 days. They told me to fill out a cancellation form that they emailed to me that came from a [protected]@donotreply.com This is what they sent me:

I also called my bank back and told them of this fraudulent activity and I wanted to dispute the charge and report them. They send since the transaction was still pending, that they couldn't do anything yet until it posted. But in the mean to I had my bank account number and bank card information changed over to a different number to avoid future fraudulent charges on my card! I am a full time worker and mother of two boys and I am the only person providing an income to support a family of four people including myself. I am not negative $98.80 in the hole and my bank is charging me $36.00 a DAY for overdrawn fees! ALL THIS FOR A PRODUCT I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED! I made sure to post this COMPLAINT! And I have wrote CNN.com about their affiliation with LeanBodyBurn.com and how I was appalled at their association with one another..that they would actually promote fraudulent companies! And I also wrote to the Florida Attorney General's Office and The Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C) and REPORTED this fruadulent company! The information for the company is:

Stephen sent this information out and I think it is great advice and great information. If we all do this, we might have a chance if shutting this company down:

Lean Body Burn Scam:

Step1: Ask your bank or credit card company to do a CHARGEBACK to get your money back on any unauthorised charges.

Step2:File complaints with:

The FTC - you can file a complaint online at:
https://ftccomplaintassistant.gov/FTC_Wizard.aspx?Lang=en

or by phone: http://www.ftc.gov/ftc/contact.shtm

File complaints with Florida Attorney General as that is where these crooks (XM Brands/ Lean Body Burn and Convert2Media) are based:

Office of the Attorney General

If you are in the United States you should also file a complaint with the Attorney General of your own state:

Good luck to all and may the houses of the scammers be infested with the fleas of a thousand camels!

I don't know if anything is being done about this company and it seems that they are continueing this scam even in Europe. I am trying to file complaints against this company with the FTC and BBB, but you have to have detailed information about this company and I dont have it. I am trying to research this company and get all the information I can, so I can file my complaints. When I find the information I need I will post it for everyone to use. PLEASE let me us all know if anyone else finds this information, so we can share it with everyone and we can shut this company DOWN!

I too have been scammed by this company and another called Swiss Sciences. This company also promised me the free 30 day trial for 3.87 which I authorized and never received, and Swiss Sciences promised me a free 30 day triall for .95 which I authorized and never received either. The kicker is that Lean Body took the 3.87 out of my account and is attempting to take out another 87.47 and Swiss Sciences is attempting to take out 169.95 for their product. My bank will refund my overdraft fees if I didn't authorized these transactions but unfortunately I have to let them clear my account first. I am going to dispute them and will bring in several copies of these complaint letters to show my bank but I am going to have to close my account and get another card to stop them from getting any more of my money. Does anyone know of anything that is being done about these companies?

I wish I knew, but these companies are getting smarter and smarter about finding ways around our laws and getting our cash quickly, because we don't have the time to read every word in their fine print. It is the old bait and switch game that has been around for years...We as consumers, have to read the small print, investigate the offers advertised and be vigilaint on any offered that sounds too good to be true.

This is the same run-around that I am getting. I asked my Rep, "Cindy"
if she understood the term "fraud." She indicated she did; I suspect it
was because it is a common word heard within this company! What does it take to stop companies like this?

I agree STRONGLY! I was taken in as well. I order the product after viewing it on-line on 6/17. I was charged immediately on my card for the $3.87. Then 10 days goo by and no product, I called to check on it, and it was finally delivered on 6/25. I did not get to start using the product until 6/28, and then I noticed another charge back on 6/26 for $87.47 (which I never authorized)! I emailed my bank and told them that this was not authorized by me and called the company this morning (7/06). I got some foreign call center (they claimed to be in Florida, but everyone sounded to be from India). They told me I had a 30 day supply, but a 10 day trial period in which to call and cancel before the extra charge was leveled. I told the one on the phone and her supervisor, that I did not receive the product until 6/25, so the trial period should not start until after receipt of the product. They said they extended the trial period an additional 10 days, for me, but it is still past that time. The only thing they would offer me was a $20 refund because I was unhappy with the product. However, if I did not take this offer, I would be out the entire $87.47. I told both women, that this is a blatant SCAM and that I would contact the BBB and the FCC and she didn't even know who either entity was...? This is truly a SCAM and I will be contacting every government agency I can to expose these criminals!

I too was mislead by this product. I fortunatley/unfortunately received the product, but didn't realize it was only a 10 day trial period so got charged the $3.87 and now $87.47 plus a couple of other foreign charges. The only difference in my cancellation link is the last 2 letters are 'mc' instead of 'ct'. Not sure what that means, but I feel your pain. Lesson learned, I will never order anything and "pay shipping" only. I knew there was a trial periord, but 10 days! Give me a break, you can't even tell if it's working after 10 days!

lean body burn Unauthorized ATM Charges

I ordered some Acai diet pills the other day online. I did the free trial for a 30 day supply, all I had to do was pay $3.87 in shipping. My ATM card was charged 3.87 on 6/14/10. Last week I checked my bank account online to find $87.87 is being processed by the same company. I am livid. I tried calling several of the phone numbers, the recording says to call back during regular business hours. I spoke with a rep at my bank and he said to cancel my ATM card. Then no more unauthorized charges can go through. I will have to file a claim now with my bank, it could take up to 60 days to get my money back. I am so upset. The website I found this on claimed to have Good Morning America and several local news broadcasts backing them.
The rep at the bank says he's seen this happen countless times. I can't believe they are getting away with this, especially after reading all of the complaints posted. They need to be shut down. They are thiefs and con artists. I hope they burn in hell

I have been chasing these crooks down for my client for the past 2 months. Unfortunately, you have located the wrong company, as did I initially. It turns out that Convert2Media or C2M as they call themselves is a 3rd tier affiliate network. Simply put, they provide the tracking for affiliate links that tracks who generates the sales and who (what affiliate) should be compensated accordingly. While, I agree they should have some policy in place to prevent fraudulent companies from using their tracking software, there is not much that can be gained from pursuing this particular company. So far what I can tell is that the company behind this is XM Brands. They are located at 3609 N 29th, Hollywood FL. The phone number I have is disconnected. Surprise, Surprise. I've further located the company that seems to be their sales arm or perhaps just an agency called CX Digital. They are located in Canada, specifically: http://www.cxdigitalmedia.com/contact.php.
If anyone has a contact number for this XM Brands it would be appreciated.

Cheers,

Will

I got a refund! You can too, just make sure you tell them you'll report them on ecommerce.gov, the BBB, and to your bank, and once the charges post to your account file a fraud complain with your bank. You'll get you're money back, LET THEM KNOW HOW ANGRY YOU ARE AND THAT YOU WILL STOP AT NOTHING TO GET THEM SHUT DOWN IF THEY DON'T GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK IN FULL! GOOD LUCK!

Last week I submitted a complaint about LEAN BODY BURN's ACAI MAX CLEANSE. I had ordered a free 10-day trial sample for $3.87 and never received the product. On the 8th day of the trial I realized they had charged me $87.47 for another bottle that surely wouldn't arrive. When I tried to cancel they said they would not/could not give me a full refund. Today I called my bank's fraud department to find that THEY HAD FINALLY ISSUED A FULL REFUND. HERE'S WHAT I DID:
I called 3 times and spoke with 3 representatives. By the 3rd call, I had them confirm that my account had been cancelled. When you want to cancel or get a refund they will send you a link to an online form. DO NOT SUBMIT IT! In the fine print it has you agree to getting only a fraction of the full refund price.
Also on my 3rd call, I told her about how I know it's a scam and that I demanded an IMMEDIATE refund and that I was not going to wait 10-15 business days. They tried to tell me that all that time was because my bank needed a couple weeks to process the refund, but I told her I would call my bank on Monday to make sure that it had been submitted.
Lastly, On my 3rd call I informed her that I was filing a complaint with ecomerce.gov (it's like the BBB but for international transactions since these people charge you from a company in Panama). I also told her I was lodging a fraud complaint with my bank and that I would have my lawyer file a lawsuit against the company (I don't have a lawyer :)). I did file a complaint with my bank and ecomerce.gov and one way or another, they gave me the refund.
These people count on you giving up and thinking there's nothing you can do to get your money back but really they don't want all that trouble or a government agency looking at their practices and shutting them down so they'll give you a refund if you fight hard enough so they can continue their shady practices. TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW THAT THIS IS A SCAM! I hope this helps you! Read my original complaint for any more info and good luck!

I hate companies that have these hidden fees and added expenses. Just put it all on the table and let us decide. But of course they wouldnt have as many sales.

lean body burn Billing

I ordered a diet pill with Acai berry concoction from a company called "Lean Body Burn". I never received the product which was supposed to be on a 10 day free trial. The 10 day trial period is long over, and my AAA credit card has been billed for the full cost of the pills - some $ 80. I tried to call to talk to the company, and all the representatives speak so soft/fast that I'm unable to comprehend what they are saying or asking.
My doctor has recommended that I do not take the medication.
I am asking that the charge to my credit card be cancelled.

Following a website advertisement for Fat burn supplements. I decided to try a free sample of the product. I was only interested as I only had to pay for the shipping of the "Maximum Burn Xtreme " supplement pills a total of $3.87. There was no trial period that I had to sign upto, so I genuinely believed it was a good product and they were obviously a...

lean body burn billed

I ordered the free trial of Acai from the website and as seen on TV, I cancelled before the trial period ended and Ialso submitted the internet cancelation. I was still billed 5 day after I canceled. I contacted my bank and they gave me a temporary credit. I also contacted the company @[protected] and they were asking me if I received the product! I told them NO, and then while they were looking up my file kept me on hjold for 20 minutes. I called back and they claimed they couldn't hear me, after 15 minutes they said they were going to forward an email to their billing department to credit me in 10-25 work days. Do not trust this company, it's a scam to get your money.

I can not belive how many more people have had the same problem after I submitted my complaint here. There should be a way to get a lawsuit against this company. Did anybody get the impresion that this company was in India or somewhere else in Asia? I had that impresion when I tried using some slang with the reps to throw them off guard and the couldn't understand what I was saying.

I am being charged $.01 Foreign Fee, $1.49 not sure why and $87.47 for I guess their product. I do not have the product. I did not order the product. My husband just found these charges on his checking account last night. They came through on 7/16 & 7/18/10. How can this happen? I am calling my bank tomorrow morning to see why this happened. I am hoping that they can back the charges back off of my account. From the list of complaints, it sounds like this is not a reputable company to do business with. I would certainly never order anything from them. I did recieve a bottle of pills in the mail from these people but I returned it immediately because I did not order them. I am so angry! Can anyone help me to get these charges off of my account? What else will they try to put through on my account?

I too ordered the trial period bottle for shipping charges only of $3.87 and didn't know the trial period was for only 10 days. Give me a break, you can't even tell if it's working in 10 days. They also told me that since I put my credit card number in the form, I was agreeing to their terms that they could charge me the full amount. Hello...I couldn't order anything until I submitted my credit card for the $3.87 shipping charge. I also got charged foreign transaction fees that were not mentioned in the ad. DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT!

This company is a complete ripoff. They continue to debit our account without authorization and with no product being shipped. (Not that we want it). Our bank has told us to change our debit/credit card as the only sure way to stop them from debiting our account. What a scam! There is a special place in hell for these types of companies and people who work for them!
