I was scammed out of $100 on Facebook Marketplace. The seller was “Sam Smith” and he requested that I Zelle him a deposit of $100 for a couch I wanted to buy. There was no agreement that the deposit was non-refundable, so the assumption would be that the deposit is refundable. I found red flags all over this person’s account and asked for the money back. The person excessively insulted me and refused to give me the money back. He sent me a screenshot of my own account seemingly in a way to intimidate me that he had my information. This group or person is an absolute scammer!

I keep phone calls from these people saying there with Medicare in which I have Medicaid and have asked them all to stop calling at least 20 times and they still call. They keep trying to get different information and I keep telling them I already have health coverage. I feel like this is beyond harassment not to mention what kind of my information are they really after and for what reason. Please something needs to be done about this.

Business is making legitimate calls to clients and calls are being blocked by omni point commiunications switchs.

Pls add my number as safe number. Blocking of calls is costing time and money to my business.

I got an Indian *foreigner* offering a "technology job." I asked him where he got my resume. Said he got it off of Monster.com (I don't have a resume on moster.com). I asked him to send me a link to the profile to this resume on monster.com... he said he would send it through email or text message me the profile link...

He said he would send the resume... I do not know where he could have got this resume? So I wanted to know where on "Monster.com" he got it from.

He would not send the link. The number he Used 734.373.0619

It may be a sophisticated scams on job boards for illegals to renew there immigrant status/green card

Received a text message from [protected] stating I purchased a LG washer from Amazon with an order number not in Amazon format. Checked my Amazon and bank accounts there was no record of purchase. Listed a phone number to call [protected] which belongs to OmniPoint.

I called the number texting from received blank voicemail. Called the 844 number foreign guy answers wants information. I declined and hung up.

I daily get calls from a 347 area code... I'm in toronto... Latest call was from 347-612-8994 yesterday was from 347-668-2982.. Day before was from 347-659-1095 and day before was 347-671-6580.
Never anyone there... Just a beep then call ends.
If this continues then perhaps the police can help.
Disgusting company that bothers people!

I have been getting non stop text messages from someone that knows about me. Threatening to harm me and my family. It has been a month now and police are getting involved. They keep changing their number using text now app and all numbers are reversing back to omnipoint. Please please help me. These text apps shouldn't allow someone to gave unlimited amount of numbers on their hands. I've tried to ask the developers to remove my number from their database but no help. I don't know who else to go to or who to contact.

I keep receiving calls with a 516 area code & 225 - last four #s always changing after I block them. They have tried saying I qualify for significantly lowering my interest rate on my credit card - yet they want all my credit card info - I'm not dumb so I say no thank you- please do not call again. I have also been told I can get an extended warranty on my truck which happens to be 13 years old and just about 200, 000 miles - again I say no thanks- do not call again- yet they have . Also they are trying to peddle lower insurance rate - I say not interested- don't call

I receive at least 4 calls a day using different area codes from Omnipoint Communications. Today they actually LIED and told me they were calling from my Toyota Dealership to offer warranty through Toyota. But when I told them they should know I have a lease vehicle and don't need warranty - the guy hangs up the phone! I'm soooooo sick of this company HARASSING ME on daily basis. I'm a realtor so I ALWAYS answer unknown numbers and unfortunately 4 out of 8 calls are from this disgusting company. I've already put in a complaint with BBB and yes there are plenty of people complaining about them harassing. There MUST be a way to hold them accountable for harassment. There MUST be a way to MAKE them STOP the unsolicited calls.

Someone called, he didn't even give his name! Claimed it was urgent my husband call back because he was verifying his address and place of employment in order to have a warrant serverd for several charges that were being filed against him. This person said my husband had to call back right away to dispute these changes. My husband works for a casino and has to go through a extensive background check in order to keep his gaming licence. Any type charges would have been addressed already by the casino already! Omnipotent communications is communications company like Verizon not an illegal collection!

3/19/2018 phone number (516)324-4874 called me pretending to be the IRS. When I asked to be removed from the data base a foreign voice cussed at me and said they had my name and address and would find me. He stated my name, phone number, and address. I hung up and blocked the number.
Unfortunately he did have my correct information but I do not owe the IRS anything and have verified this with my accountant.

Beware of employee name Prashant Shah from omnipoint communication cap operations.. mobile no. +[protected].. is giving life threatening Calls and trying to harass.. also cheating people and trying to extrot money.. he is goon.. he is keep on calling and also he is marked as spam on Truecaller database. Beware and take strict action against him.. he is immigrant and trying to act smart..

Please I want him traced and arrested and traced the Phone to Him I got him on his Facebook. My Name Is Officer Robert Davis and that was the only phone I hade that I traced to him and I want it returned to me.

Scammer trying to get information from me! They have been calling me since 1 week ago, I blocked other phone numbers but they are insisting through other lines. [protected] . It looks like a machine, and they trying that I response yes .. but it's not the only company that is doing these process ! What is happenig with FTC ? They are not doing anything .. to stop this mindfulness .. why ?

Omnipoint happens to be the cell-phone carrier of record for my own phone exchange. According to Wikipedia, it was absorbed in 2000 by a larger company, which is now called T-Mobile.

It transmits the calls from most of the exchanges mentioned in the original complaints on this site, & many of those in the 30-or-so comments after the complaints (I didn't check them all). I found all these complaints while doing a web-search for Omnipoint's contact info. I have no professional or personal interest in either defending or attacking Omnipoint, which I only heard of today while trying to solve a problem related to another company that uses their network.

If you're going to look up info on the internet, make sure you understand the column or subject headings. In particular, the online reverse phone directories MAY give you a city, a zip code &/or a phone company (as in these cases), but if you want a caller's name or address, they will ask you to pay for it. If you want to stop a phone scammer or harrasser, it may well be worth the few bucks -- though there's no guarantee that any of these commercial sites is perfectly up-to-date.

IF you manage to get the actual name & address associated with the full phone number (not just the exchange), you might follow the instructions given in the comment by scoochums (1 August 2012, below TheRightway's complaint) on how to contact the FBI. Slandering the phone company on this website won't help anyone.
