Lack of competent management
Since they recently promoted three people to "management", there has not been a tech schedule that is for more than one week at a time, and it keeps changing during that week! This has been going on for over three months now. Anyone who complains is given even worse schedules or worked to death till they quit. HR was called once, but the blew it off because the manager and her boss either don't care or think the tech manager can do no wrong.
I hoped this would get better as CVS took over, but it's not.
I just found out why even the pharmacists are complaining... The order entry manager is married to a pharmacist. She will not write a schedule until the schedule comes out for the pharmacists, and often the order entry techs are working day to day without a schedule. She will not write it because she lines up the days and times off so that her home life isn't interrupted and she and her husband get time off together. And no one in upper management seems to even care. The area boss only cares about his old pharmacy in Morgantown WV and doesn't want to hear about anything that is wrong at the other pharmacies. The current manager could fix stuff but just lets it happen.
All the shift managers are always talking down to and about employees. This place is horrible. I will be leaving as soon as I (hopefully) find another job. Company is a joke. May be better in other places, but this place is a joke. Don't know how they are staying open at all.

Racist
I have been applying for this company since 2007 and its been almost 6 years already. I had my first interview in 2007 it was a good interview i was really expecting to get a job there, but nope they never responded back. According to one of my friend who is currently working there at omnicare he told me all the management staffs are racist i did not believe him till one day i called to check my status and they hung up on me when i called back i asked what is going and they told me don't call again. I never gave up i kept applying there and last week i got a called from them for the interview after 6 years, then i went in i had my interview with the manager there her name was Michell she was very kind she really liked my experience and skills and she promised that she is going to hire me because i have lots of experience and told me to wait about a week so she can talk to HR i was excited. I waited about two weeks no call...when i called her back she said oh why hr did not call you let me find out i know you have customer service experience i waited again for few days then i called back on the 5the day she told me oh sorry hr hired someone else and then she hung up... since then i started hating Omnicare i think six years is enough time for me to start hating this company. they hurt my feelings man...
