Unacceptable Service
On October 4, 2009, I prepaid 766 $US to Multilingualbooks.com for a language course that was NEVER DELIVERED. Over a period of two months, my numerous emails and telephone calls concerning the matter have NOT BEEN ANSWERED. Finally, my REQUEST FOR REFUND has been IGNORED. I have turned the matter over to my credit card company, who informs me that I must wait at least four months for them to conduct a review and reverse the charges to my account.

Hello, the last Nov 26 / 2007, I bought an english system on the web (ASSIMIL for Spanish speakers) on the web site: www.multilingualbooks.com, and the system sent me a confirmation of my purchase and I still waiting for the package. I sent them at least 4 e-mails asking about my order, and more than one employees said me that it was a mistake in my order...

Short version: I ordered a book. My card was charged immediately but I didn't get the book until 4 months later after several unanswered emails and 2 phone calls. The owner was friendly but the service is really bad, and this business is violating credit card agreements by charging the card long before shipping anything.
Details: I ordered a book from Multilingual Books in February 2012. My credit card was charged immediately, but after 6 weeks it still hadn't arrived. I emailed and got no response. Two weeks later I called and got the owner, Kenneth, through a Google Voice number to his cell phone. He said it was backordered and I should wait about 3 more weeks and call back if I hadn't gotten it. It didn't come, so I emailed and again got no response. I called another 3 weeks later, and he was friendly but clearly didn't have any history of me trying to track down this order. He said he placed a drop-ship order while I was on the phone, and I finally received it two weeks later.
