Monster Resorts Group/Monster Vacations Group Vacations

I do not have the dates this whole thing started. My husband talked to them first. He bought it based on the fact that this company would provide lots of vacation options. Then a fellow called from his cell phone with a rather threatening way of saying he had to pay more for some confirmation and that because he had to agreed to in the recorded conversation. My husband paid what he thought was this confirmation but it was on someone's cell phone and he started another vacation package. I got involved as the calls from cell phones were getting threatening. I paid what I was told would complete the transaction. I received more calls asking for more money for a confirmation. Never were we told that we needed to listen to an unexplained presentation. I have asked for this in writing twice recently on what we have actually have paid for and what we need to do to reserve a vacation. Apparently this is a big risk for them as we have not received from them a civil response. I would prefer to get a refund. I would add that my husband has cognition issues so probably did not understand what he was buying. We have never received a contract which outlined the specifics of what we have purchased.

Country of complaint: United States

Desired outcome: A refund of what we have invested and not been able to use.

I bought a package under the pretense of the $500 I paid was for the trips. I call to get an idea of some of the locations and was told I had to pay another $800 for booking fees. This is always a 2 part payment plan they said on the phone. This was not mentioned to me when I first bought the plan, as a matter of fact, I was told that the only thing I would have to pay on top of the original $$ was my own air fare. Then to top it off, when I told her that I feel I was ripped off, she hung up on me. This company is one to STAY AWAY FROM. It is such a scam it isn't funny.

Monster Resorts Group/Monster Vacations Group Hotel accommodation (Rip off)

On 4/7/2017 I was called by a out of area number and offered a vacation package. During the initial call I advised the representative I wanted to lodge at the Bellagio during my stay in Las Vegas. I was told by the Rep I would have a choice of partner hotels to choose from during my stay and bellagio was most certainly one of them. I went ahead with the sales call and was then transferred to another rep and then she proceeded to record the call. During that also I advised her I wanted to stay at the Bellagio and asked her how do I set up my accommodations. She told me I had to contact the reservations dept. I then contacted the reservations department and told them I wanted to book the Bellagio and she told me that she would send my request through and it would take 2 days for them to confirm my reservations. I received an email from them for booked accommodations staying at the West Gate. I immediately responded and let them know I requested the bellagio. I am furious with this company for false advertisement. This company called me and I am unsure of how they received my information but for them to tell me I had a choice of my accomidations and then book me at the West gate is not okay! They wouldnt even honor a refund and I am now contacting my bank as well to follow up on this SCAM!

On our way to Myrtle Beach SC we stopped at the Welcome Center which we had done in years past knowing it was owned by either the City or the Chamber of Commerce; neither for profit. (Later we learned the Chamber of Commerce sold the Welcome Center to Mark Anthony Spaugy/ Monster Resorts Group/Monster Vacation Group.) While at the Welcome Center we accepted...
