Idaho Child Support reviews and complaints

My husband paid off his child support (although the mother of that child had him sign his rights away so her husband could adopt) she changed her mind divorces the man and then once again following in her mother's footsteps lives off of the government with a few kids from different fathers.
My husband came into some money through a death in the family and paid off the retroactive support he shouldn't have owed in the first place because he gave 7, 000 already to pay for a child's birth he knew nothing about until she was 7.
Idaho said that he would be refunded the interest over the years be it 3-7, 000 so he called today as a follow up and the lady told him yes there is a refund but it is in the amount of 3 cents.

I am appalled and I want to take legal action if possible. I will be patient until we have the funds to do so but this is not acceptable.

I HAVE THREE COURT ORDERS...AND AGREEMENT WITH EX..I have been called a deadbeat- yet was never behind. I have so much documentation and HUGE court room battles expenses only to be told by CSED they will not follow them. Child support was to end upon graduation since she turned 18 before. Still going on and although I have had sympathy with workers agreeing with me but nothing they can do, apparently there is no one there who can do anything. When asked who has power to correct it back to dadbeat dad syndrome and name calling. I want to join any lawsuit against them. I am trying right now to get answers and have been given permission to sue but again no one to hold accountable. They owe me almost 1000 dollars in overpayment and to avoid they report they are using federal laws...proved them wrong on that by calling federal child support and now no one will take any calls. The want me to go through my state CSED...well my state sides with me but nothing they can do as it is Idaho...Who the hell can a guy talk too...I am taking this all the way including holding workers liable under gross misconduct!

Currently being stipulated againts my own will! I have paid off a debt that i was told over 9, 000$ within two years. Half the money never made it to my sons and delt with, idaho and california saying i missed payments as i was paying things up, hmmm? Now after all was said and done i find myself doing the same thing how my acount got to nine thousand within the next two years is incredible!, how not sure, but cs had been sending reciepts to me after payments idaho and cali with 0 all over it, yet i have stubs to reciept. Now they tell me to bring everything in to fix the problem and did, which led me to nothing but someone trying to tell me to do an court hearing on redoing the childsupport amount, to a lower payment encouraging me to look like i cant take care of responsibilities, however its only the fact idaho stipulates me to pay amounts over time that is not possible causeing me to crash and burn on future payments and are taking my license away! I am a contractor, in order to make money i need to drive! I cant find attorneys for my case in idaho or cali, being im a real man taking care of my responsibilities, only to find myself stipulated by manizers and corrupted agendas, let alone the insuffentient amount of workers who should not be working for a place with such responsibility! Everything i do or try gets manipulated, stipulated and controlled by one who works for the state. Keeping things short, my sons are with their mother who has a warrant in idaho for demostic abuse and still managed to get custody of my kids while i did not know what was going on as i was working to fix problems she had started, to find myself paying her and paying myself out of debt from the relationship. The stipulations and disorganization of idaho and california childsupport are inhumane and not relavent to the childs wellbeing! At this point i am at civil unrest with this and can not do anything else to make things better myself and girlfriend have tried and dished enough money out we are strapped and confined to the ccs obligations againts my own will. My right to raise my sons as a good father are stipulated and the right of pursueing my own happiness has been interupted and is causeing more problems then to begin with and my children are being neglected and effected by it. To note i have my oldest son and no problems. Since he has been with me he has improved and works hard on everything better then ever. I am a hard working man who loves his children more then anything in the world and am getting very sick of this trend that is going on by spoiled brats and selfish women playing the sex card. Obviously it doesnt matter these days if male or female, but appetantly males seem to have some trwnd keeping them from rightfully raising his kids! I NEED A ATTORNEY TO HELP OUT BEAT THIS TREND APART AND PUT CHILDREN WITH THE RIGHTFUL AND LOVING PARENT! IM sick of seeing this trend tearing down good men and women, most of all tired of seeing children being held back. To many lazy corrupted people in state and fed offices lately and it's leading to a civil war. I for one American am at civil unrest and fed up with the corruption and disorganization of places such as this! It affects the future and our children and my kids will never feel like slaves as i do now. I have officially been held againts my own will and any further action will make me a martyr of this issue for those being stipulated ore manipulated againts rightful humane decisions for our children. Nothing else i can do but fight, being thays all they are able to do to me, is fight me on anything i terry and do right. Im fed upand done with the nonsense from ics, ccs i am a angry father who wants his sons home now! And trying and doing the do paperwork isnt and will not work. One thing you dont do is separate a man who loves his children expecially his sons that carry on the name! Us father's who work hard will change this politically correct crap and our children will get the love and teaching they deserve! Time to build up and end this corruption, I'd you're in say something and do something. Im real and dead serious about the safety and we'll being of my children and it is now the point that corruption in state and fed are corrupted and are negatively affecting my children, I'm angered beyond imagination. If one as patient as myself can't do things humane with state gov. what's left?

I have had Idaho child support give my federal tax refund to california even though my support was done in Idaho. Idaho is well aware of having this check yet they do not deduct it from my balance, Last year it was received on March 17th and California released it on May 29th yet Idaho back dated it to March 17th and to this day on any balance sheet they provide the complete sum of what was taken is not shown. This is a corrupt way of doing their financial balances. How can Idaho give my check away until May 29th then put it in their books as if they received it on March 17th? Same thing is happening this year. How does Idaho child support think that it is ok to back date any form of payment and yet not give the credit the day they are logging it in their books?

...continued...my husbands ex never paid her court ordered amount. She would send 5 bucks here, 20 there. When we contacted idaho child support they told us there was nothing they could do cuz she was making an attempt. In 2012 his girls returned to their mother. When my husband got laid off I mailed in a partial payment (12/13) in January 2014 they suspended his drivers license. One month behind, even though idaho law is 3 consecutive months or 2000 behind. For 7 months we fought to get his license back. He would sign their dumb repayment agreement and send a payment with it they didn't get repayment agreement but they got money. A second time of signing agreement, they needed a payment b4 they could release license, send in a payment. Then it was the 2nd signed agreement was 2 days past due so it doesn't count, sign it a 3rd time...they need money. In July my husband threatened them with a lawyer, he had license the next day. Somebody with authority needs to stop their crap, it's BS

My story is some what different, I receive child support in Idaho. When i left my ex in 2005 idaho child support came up with the amount 507.00 for 2 kids. When we appeared in court the judge changed amount to 458.00 however the amount I received never changed from the 507.00 in 2008 idaho child support told me that they supersede a court order (cuz I questioned the amount difference) in 2013 I had a modification done. Next thing I know i'm being told that I owe 4k back to child support because my ex had paid to much. Now they won't even give me the full monthly amount that's ordered. They wont provide me with any kind of documentation, they kept the money my ex paid for back child support, they are going to take my taxes and that's just my case. My experience with Idaho health and welfare is absurd. Back in 2009 I got behind on payments due to unemployment. I worked out a payment arrangement with Health and welfare. They were already threatening to suspend my CDL. I had an arrangement with them to pay by September 12 2009. I paid over the amount of 276 at 876 dollars. I paid online with my debit card and held a receipt in my hand, called the state child support and Idaho department of transportation. They said i would be fine, and i faxed them the information of my payment. Two days later a cop pulled me over saying my license was suspended. I ended up with an SR-22, Paying reinstatement fees, and the fee to get my truck out of impound.
Fast forward to 2012. I relinquished my Rights to my son, (it was not easy) due to legal reasons of my Felony. Two weeks later I get a call saying I may be a father of another child. To a woman I have always disliked. So the parents got arrested for child endangerment, and some other charges. They said they were looking for an adoptive father for the child to go to. I never heard anything after the paternity test. She does not want anything from me as her life is the way she wants it, and mine is on a slippery slide with parole. Being a felon I have been out of work for almost a year, they hit me with 330 a month in child support, plus medical insurance. Once again i got a bill for back child support a month ago saying i owed 2500 dollars. I just had gotten a new job and told them it would be at least two to three weeks to pay them. My Cdl was suspended while i was in Portland on a short haul. I do not get it, I tried to work with them and it seems they want to screw me as much as possible. So i am sending them a bill for the work lost, and my reinstatement fees. I cant work if I cannot get there. I hate Idaho and the corrupt courts we have.

My experience is on the flip side of most of you...my ex owes me $24, 000. One $50 payment in 15 years. He has lived with the same woman for 12 years, and Washington state PAID HIM to watch her kids. They've had warrants for his arrest but Washington won't actively look for him, even though I have his address. They've caught him once and drug him into court, the result was my one $50 payment. Now my kids are grown, although they are still "enforcing" the back child support. I lived in Idaho (until recently; I moved to Washington), he lives in Washington. Although I have to say he's been consistent--total deadbeat. Not even a birthday card in all those years. And yes, I keep in touch with his parents, so he could have seen his kids or got my address anytime. He quit calling them because they repeatedly gave me HIS address (which I gave to CSS). He's on the Washington State CSS Most Wanted website, BTW, so if you know where he is, give them a call! His name is Spencer Lloyd Ess! Any payment would be appreciated, and the money would very likely go to stuff for his GRANDKIDS.

Here is another similar story...although not to the penny yet. A man paying child support moved to Washington from Idaho. He was current..three years went by and he moved back to Idaho and the state didn't recognize any of the payments made in Washington the state of Idaho had his drivers licences was revoked. my x husband lives in Idaho fall and I live in Puerto rico. I have the kids and he doesn't send anything for them. he is currently in arrears over 44, 000 and is avoiding all child support calls and wont accept their mail. I have been attempting to hold him in contempt of court, I thought once the debt got so high they would place an arrest warrant for him. but to this day nothing has happened. Ive been doing everything I can to provide for our children but it hasn't been easy due to his lack of cooperation. He pays rent, pays the vehicle for his wife, and takes good care of his pets but doesn't send a cent to his children. I desperately need my case enforced, but Idaho child support is not doing their part. they know where he is, just don't care to take higher actions against the non custodial parent. the debt keeps adding up every month he doesn't pay yet he is living the good life in Idaho.
