Husky Power Washer reviews and complaints
washer wand
I bought a Husky 1850 power washer 2 years ago & I am on my third wand. I have purchased all of them because I was told it was not under warranty. Now it seems that they have stopped making the wand and mine is defective again. Do you know of any place I can get a replacement wand? I have seen the generic ones, but they ar $60+. The old replacement was only $20. Being a senior citizen, my funds are limited. Any Help would be appreciated. I like the washer other than the poor quality wand it has.

parts/service
I bought the hu80220 less than a year ago. Used once last summer, and it worked okay - a little "placticky" for one of their supposed "better" consumer grade machines. I followed all instructions supplied with the unit on winterizations, still I have two broken parts from freezing - the worst part is I have now made more than eight phone calls over the course of three days trying to get replacement parts and every person I get at husky redirects me to another number - one of which is for ryobi - frustrating that they are taking low end ryobi tools and selling them as "husky" which I have mistakenly thought to be a good brand. I finally got someone yesterday who said she couldnt sell me anyhting short of an entire pump or entire wand but she would e mail me a schematic so I could have the part numbers I need and that she would also e mail me "the correct phone number to call" - this had me laughing since I had been given "the right number to call" six times now. She never sent the email - none of the representatives I talk to seem to care - I have wasted more than the pressure washer costs in time trying to fix this piece of junk. My last ditch effort is taking it to the store I bought it from tonight (won't be holding my breath). I will never buy a husky product again. The whole experience has been frustrating and the level of customer service I have received from the people at husky has been ridiculously poor, disappointing and pathetic.

I own a huskey 1650 powerwash that requires replacement of faulty parts (gun hose assembly, quick connect fitting). An email was sent to Huskey 9/26/07 for the parts order and payment. I have contacted them via email many times, as they provided a tracking number that is not recognized by the shipping service. As of this date the parts have not been received. Is there any recourse that I may have with this matter to be resolved.
Plz advise smb!
I place an order for parts for my husky power washer from this website. http://huskypowerwasher.com/store/husky1650.html if you go to this website you will note that the site represents itself as husky power washer, manufacturer. it no ware says it sells as a representative of husky. the reason for this notice is that I placed an order, but when I received it had increase the prices on the three items ordered from the web site by $24.94 + an increase in taxes over what the website cost was shown. I attempted to contact for a credit between my order and what I was billed and after nearly 45 minutes was told that I could return the items for credit paying the freight and restocking of 25% which when calculated make the original order less than the restocking, so I have kept the order. however, I argued that this was shown at the husky manufacturing site and not a re-manufactured item. non of which is stated. be very weary of this site in fact I had originally thought to order on line, but bit defender cautioned that the site was not secure.
Purchased the H2000 at Home Depot in Flower Mound, Texas a couple of years ago and have used it 3 times, the 3rd one being the charm. It worked great the first two times, but the second time was a great disappointment. Water was leaking from what appears to be an opening on top of the motor? That said, there was no pressure coming out at all, it was all going out the opening on top of the motor. So...my solution was to take it back to Home Depot as I have been a card holder for years and I thought for sure they would do all they could to help. Well...their solution was to consider junking it as they no longer sold that model and it would cost me a minimum of $100.00 to get it fixed and not recommended as the other newer models were running about $150.
That after having used it only 3 times! My power washer still looks brand new and that is because it hardly ever got used. I tried to see if I could fix it by buying the parts, but why? To have the same issue? Should have spent more money and purchased Briggs & Stratton product.
I purchased a husky powerwasher 1750 psi. When we tried to hook it up the gun would not function it leaked. You sent us another one now that one leaks. I bought this because I thought it would be easy for a woman to use. It Is. But to continually have to buy a new gun because it leaks thru the plastic is poor workmanship. I bought this to save money not spend it
Hi, Marv.
I do apologize for the disappointment with the product leaking & that the unit would need to be serviced. I just called the manufacturer's tech support team to explain the problem and ask if this sounded like something that truly warranted a service on the item or if maybe there was a part you could purchase & replace yourself simply that would resolve the issue. I was hoping it would be the latter, but I was advised that water leaking out can be an indicator the unit was improperly stored during the off season. If it wasn't properly stored, the seals may have frozen/cracked then caused the leak & she stated they would have to be serviced to get repaired. :(
She did advise that there is a product called Pump Guard which is a foam you can put it in at the end of season after you drain the unit, and the foam protects all the pipes from breakage. Just FYI in case you do opt to purchase another. Again, I am sorry for the inconvenience with the product, but we appreciate your feedback.

malfunction
Purchased husky power washer from home depot last year. Used the pressure washer about 3 times. Power lights do not come on and has no more pressure than a garden hose. Used as directed. I was going to ask to exchange it for another but could not find the same model h2000. I am extremely tired of buying products that are junk. I also spent 50 on wall paper to hide damaged walls worked on the room for two weeks, used extra paste, paper coming off walls.

total lack of quality
Received a husky powerwasher 2000s for a father's day gift on june 20, 2008. Purpose and use was to clean the 27 x 13 deck and a slightly larger concrete patio below. Unit has been used 5 times and properly stored in the garage. Went to use it to clean the this week and found that the poorly designed "click-n-clean variable spray nozzle" won't work properly at the detergent spray setting... The other two settings work; however the nozzle leaks along the length of the seam when I use it at those settings. The construction of this is absurd. So far, calling the 1-888 phone number has resulted in little satisfaction. Going on line is about as fruitful. It appears that the $200.00 was literally flushed down the toilet. The box said 3 year warranty... Checking the warranty, nearly nothing has a warranty beyond 90 days. How home depot can sell such inferior products and then essentially ignore the problem is beyond me. There must be hundreds of comments on the internet about their husky powerwashers and poor quality... This situtation is unacceptable. Maybe, what is needed is a class action lawsuit against home depot. I have had a choice of driving 7 minutes to a loews near my home or 20 minutes to home depot and up to this point have chosen home deport. I am so displeased over this, that I now feel lowe’s deserves a chance at my business because home depot certainly does not care about it's customers! Their new ad slogan should be: we sell junk and we are proud of it!

I also have - had - a HUSKY unit for a short period of time and the same thing happened here. I looked online for days to find any answers to the problems that I had and all I found was a few parts for it from that same source - master tool repair - and nothing could be done to fix it. It was even worth the time or parts to fix it. Why do these people sell this JUNK! Beware...stay away from these type of units or parts and find a better one!
Husky hu80220 electric power washer..
Purchased at home depot, fredericksburg va... used twice...in less than one year and experienced total failure.
After checking husky web site for authorized 'service center' here in virginia and too the unit in for under warrantee repair. after a four (4) months of their trying to obtain parts the service center has informed me that in testing
The spray wand is defective spraying water at the connection fittings. the service center owner attempted to obtain
A replacement unit and was informed by the husky parts center that none available and will no longer be manufactured!.
And nothing further can be done!
an internet search has disclosed this is a common problem!
an internet search reveals other part sources (master tool repair) have this item, however this may be of concern if may be of same manufacturing defective design.
I am stuck with a $218.00 unit that cannot be used and will have to dispose it at the local dump.
