Global Response Technologies Failure To Produce Services Paid For

I paid thousands of dollars and signed a contract with Global Response Technologies (also known as World Premier Marketing) on March 18, 2008 to build a custom web site with search engine optimization for my real estate business. The salesperson, Kent Jungling, told me it would be completed with 45-60 days. The web site has never been completed. Throughout the past 10+ months I have been shuffled between various people at that company including Cambria Richardson, Carrie Cleveland, Ashley Tonella and Boris M. (refused to provide his last name) all of whom promised to complete my web site and gave me deadlines which were not met. They were masters at stringing me along. I was given excuses weekly as to why my site wasn't completed, which in aggregate were patently unbelievable (including food poisening, falling off a ladder, car accident, moving the office, web server crash, etc.). I requested a refund on multiple occasions, and was denied. I tried to find out who the owners of the company were and was told by all of the above that that information was not given out. When Boris M. took over my project in October 2008, he apologized that I was treated this way, told me that there were 20+ other clients that were in the same situation as me and that he was going to "clean up the mess." Needless to say he never finished my web site. I have filed a complaint with my credit card company, with the Better Business Bureau of Salt Lake City, with the State of Utah Department of Commerce Division of Consumer Protection, with IC3 joint FBI, Bureau of Justice and National White Collar Crime Center on internet fraud) and on as many internet complaint boards as I can find. In doing so I have discovered that many other people have filed complaints against Global Response Technologies. My purpose in doing so is in the hopes that other people will not be ripped off as I was.

This company treats their employees horrible. I use to work for them - I was hired directly with global response but the are really an agency... They never hire you to become perm.. I worked for about 2 years with them and once I started to complain, because I wanted a perm position and better pay - I was fired. 'My assignment has ended" as per the agency... lol! The kicked me out as if I was an animal. I started at 10 dollars an hour and I left making the same. I received not a penny more for deferential . yet I worked overnight and also tasking bilingual assignments, The call center is dirty! I was always getting sick in that place, It got so bad, that I started to wear a mask over my face.I would not recommend ANYONE TO work there. You are just a number in that place. NO HEALTH INSURANCE - BECAUSE YOU WORK VIA AN AGENCY - NO VACATION PAY - NO SICK DAY - NO PERSONAL NOR 401 K - Absolutely NOTHING! and they don't pay you from the time you clock in to work . they only pay you from the time your scheduled to work. For example, If you work 40 hrs a week - you clock in 5 minutes early everyday - those 5 minutes add to 25 minutes a week -$30.00 every 2 weeks - 60.00 a month = $720.00 a year that they are suppose to pay you, that they keep and that's just 1 employee... the place has about 200 employees..so yearly that's about 144, 00.00 that the company keeps! Which is illegal! not to mention the sexual harassment by our own managers, yet if we report it, we end up getting fired for some reason or another, yet the manager gets to stay.

I will also attest to claims of shady and irresponsible business practices. I worked at GRT a few years ago and suffice it to say, especially after seeing it from the inside, I have no idea how they've managed to rip off as many people as they have over the years.

Please add me to the list. I own a small business and paid for not only a website but a shopping cart as well for an additional $500.00. My website was completed and a shopping cart was build. However, my shopping cart was missing more than half of my products, the attributes for products were not done, credit card processing was not working. The excuse was that the woman who designed the shopping cart was a "freelance" employee who was going through a divorce and that is why she had left basically leaving everybody hanging. Within weeks of that happening for some reason my user name and password was not working and I can not access the Administration panel of my site. Customers were able to go to my site and place orders but I was NOT able to see the orders, costing me tens of thousands of dollars in lost sales, customers orders were not filled and I have had complaints filed against me, the damage done to my reputation as a business owner who places Customer Service above all else is irreversible, GRT has ruined my reputation. I have been calling and emailing for over 6 months and and have not ever received a response. Additionally, to date I have NEVER received a copy of my site, which I had to pay for, so that I could simply move it to a new hosting company. I feel that I have been very patient and afforded GRT every opportunity to make an attempt to resolve this issue.

Earlier this evening I discovered that my website is no longer available. Now what do we do? If anyone has contact information for a particular person in the Utah State Attorney's office, please post, as I am more than willing to join in any complaints on file.

For Goatroper who also posted; do you know if they are still in Utah under the new name? Please advise.

Sincerely,
K.H.

Now they have changed their name to Altitude Media and Design. The name has changed but the story is exactly the same. Stay away from these people.

This is a completely valid complaint. I was familiar with numerous other employees, including my spouse and some of those you've all named. I was an employee at Global Response Technologies. The way Boris ran his business was questionable at best. To be perfectly honest, I was shocked that he was in business as long as he was. Should any of you still be interested in a basic realtor website (I'm assuming that's what you were all here for, since that was his bread and butter), I could help you out very cheaply with a simple wordpress site. I would also really like to find anyone who had a website that I worked on, since I am now left without a portfolio thanks to his shady business practices. My contact address is inedpro@gmail.com.

This company rates an "F" in the Utah BBB and for good reason! If only I had been warned before getting involved with these thieves. They are preying on small real estate companies and agents. I have been taken for $4, 000.00 not to mention the hours of frustration throughout the past 4 years with these people. My site was never completely finished even though I dealt with 20+ individuals whom were all going to finish my site. Everyone from the Boris, Carrie, Ashley, Jake, Brian, Brandon, Shelley the list goes on and on! Now my site doesn't even come up, it's non-existent, but they have the nerve to continue to bill my credit card for services not being provided. I called their telephone numbers and they have been disconnected. I was able to locate their new 800 #, however can't get through to even leave a message, guess what all their mail boxes are full! On the BBB site it states they are under chapter 11 Bankruptcy. Further research shows they are now operating under the name of Altitude Media. I guess their plan is to restructure under new names and continue to rip off consumers! Shame on you Boris Moiseyen, you belong in jail where someone can take advantage of you.

I work for a real estate company in Georgia and we also had numerous problems with Global Response Technologies. They did the work as promised, but every task took much longer than it should have and the SEO that we were supposedly getting was never implemented. The reports they sent never showed our company getting high rankings on the search engines.

We were a customer from the end of 2006 until December 2009 when our website & e-mail suddenly went down without warning. We tried to call, but the phone numbers had been disconnected and nobody would return an e-mail.

After doing extensive internet research, we realized that the company had over 30 complaints filed against them by the Utah BBB. We also read the complaints on several websites and I was amazed at how many people have had the same experience that we did. Almost all of the employees (or former employees that were supposedly fired because they weren't doing a good job) are friends of Boris Moiseyev on Facebook. Ashley Tonella, Jon Roquerio, Carrie Cleveland, Cambria Richardson, etc.

We had problems with the customer service from the very beginning, but after spending money on a website we couldn't exactly just drop the company and go elesewhere. Had we known the history, we never would have gone with this company in the first place.

As I said above, they did complete the website design and kept the site going for almost 3 years but during that time we had numerous issues and several times the site went down and it took days to get it back up and running. We had countless problems with the search feature on our property search page and I always felt as though whomever I was talking to knew less about how the site worked than I did.

If you do have any problems with them, good luck getting through the phone maze to speak to an actual person. We have been trying to get them to stop the monthly charges to our credit card for 2 months with no luck. Lesson learned - never sign up for automatic billing unless it is a situation that YOU can immediately remove your card from in the event of any issues. According to our credit card company, the only solution we have is to dispute the charges each month.

This company (Global Response Technologies, Global DRT, GRT International) is a major scam and is planning to reopen after default to hide themselves from being responsible for many losses. That is the total shame of the whole thing that we lose $$THOUSANDS$$ and they have a long term strategic plan to make money "using the system". Yes, Boris, Ashley, Chris, Cambria, Mike...the list goes on and on with nothing but excuses as to why they could not complete my website. From Snowboard accidents to car wrecks...get real! These folks have absolutely ZERO morals.

I am in the process of filing a complaint through the US Government with all of the facts and FULL names of all involved individuals. I would hope all of you do the same. We cannot just let them open their doors with a new sign on the front of their building with our "honestly earned" money. I will be watching for this as I spoke to someone inside who has filled me in.

I need to make minor changes to my website and I can't get a hold of anyone there. They charged me late fees, but are unavailable to talk via phone... left several messages. One number is not in service and their main website is blank. They are under SmartMarketingAgent.com now and their new number is [protected] however no live person ever answers. Most mailboxes are full.

Several years back I dealt with Ashley Tonella then Shelee Tonella. A year ago I was told by Shelee that Ashley no longer works there. Now nobody is answering or returning calls.
I can't even have another web designer change these things because I don't have access to the page, no passowords or anything... If anyone that worked for them can give me some sort of help to take over my site and have someone else change them I would be fine...

We are a real estate company from New Jersey. We agree that GRT is a SCAM! ! ! ! Like others, we were promised top placement on search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN, and others. They promised optimization and the best placement on all pages. The body of lies told to us was beyond anything that can be imagined. They fail to return calls and must have a caller id system because after a while they stop picking up. We had to *67 our number and call from our cell phones to even get through. On one call we told Curtis that we would have to consider giving them an additional $2, 000 to optimize our site and he just hung up.

They are a despicable company with despicable employees and ownership. Not to mention we were told the outrageous lie that the owner is anonymous with an e-mail address of owner@grtinternational.com.

We would also consider joining a class action lawsuit. These people are truly criminals and must be brought to justice.

Here is a list of the individuals we had the displeasure of dealing with:

Kent Jungling
Shelee Tonella
Ashley Tonella
Carrie Cleveland
Brian ?
Curtis ?

Who knows if these names are real, but they certainly are the characters in the saga.

The comments above are so true as per my experience with Global Response Technologies. I ordered a custom website in September 2008 for $3, 000. I tried on numerous occasions to contact the web designers and the marketing individuals who sold me their products. I was transfered from person to person (when I actually got a live response). Most of the time I received no response to my calls or messages I left on their message machine. I now have a single flash page templet with a non-relavent photo with all text in Latin. They say it is active and on-line...
My US Airlines VISA card through Bank of America is not providing the fraud protection they claim. They temporarily removed the charge then placed it back on my account claiming there was an error with the time to submit. (US Airlines VISA servicing agents never provided any timeline requirements). I am considering legal action against Global Response Technologies.
I actually wonder if they are going bankrupt. The web designed I originally contacted at Global Response Technologies is working for another web company. She states they are going bankrupt. I can see why they would go bankrupt if they serve all their customers the same way they frauded me!

Stay away from this company! I started to go with them to build my site and then received the authorization form to charge my credit card with the contract. In the fine print it said despite what the sales person says, they'll only honor what the sales contract states...which of course the sales contract promised a lot less than what the salesman mike said he would give me.

I tried calling and emailing several times to get in writing what he promised and I never heard back from them. I moved on and signed with another webmaster. Lo and behold a charge (unauthorized I might add) was on my credit card $3500! Thankfully my credit card compand protects me from frauds like them but now I have a bunch of paperwork to fill out because of these jerks.

I paid GRT $5, 000 to optimize my website and build an additional website for me. When it became apparent they were not doing the optimization work that they were supposed to be doing ( I caught them in several lies) I requested my money back. for the additional website that they had not yet started. Per my contract, I was entitled to my money back but my request was flat out refused. When I would call to discuss and try to resolve the problem I would be put on hold and transferred from one extension to another and my voice mails were never returned. I sent them certified letters requesting my money back but they were just ignored. Because I live in Colorado and GRT is in Utah I will have to hire an attorney in Utah to pursue this matter. I have since gone out of business because of GRT. They sold me on the fact that they would get me on the "first page of the top 15 search engines within 6 months. I gave them all the money I had and ended up with nothing. I would like to file some sort of class action lawsuit against them. Please contact me of you would like to be a part of this.
