D2d Consulting reviews and complaints
ordering magazines
I am trying to cancel my order w/D2D Consulting because I checked them out to find them a big fraud. I called and told them I am canceling the order for way overpriced magazines that is supposed to help a kid win a vacation. They said they where going to hold my check and that it would be mailed back to me as soon as they received it. Not only did they cash my check they supposedly have no record of my call, but its in my records. Lets see if I ever get my refund.
When Icalled the first day after placing the order I tryed to ask the lady at the 1-800 number on my receipt how to check that the Angels for Soldiers program received the items that I extremely overpayed for she stated that there was no way to check that my order went through and that they received what I payed my hard earned money for. That seems like a big scam to me!
did not receive product
Purchased a children's magazine for my granddaughter from a door to door salesman on Nov 8, 2010. He said the magazine should start in about 6 wks. As of the middle of January when I started to investigate the company...I find the tele number has been disc and the complaints online.
I purchased from a door to door sales person a 1-year weekly magazine subscription to Sports Illustrated for $63.00. It was to include 52 issues. I called the company to find out when my delivery would start. The person who answered the phone said it could take 120 days to get the subscription started, and they had switched me from Sports Illustrated, to 28 issues of Sporting News for the same price. They refused to give me a refund, and said that they never offered Sports Illustrated, even though it was clearly on the brochure the salesperson showed me. My name is Travis Rees, my address is 2703 E Linwood, Springfield, MO, 65804, and my telephone number is [protected]. Thank you.
SCAM
Fell for some sob story about a young guy needing "points" to earn a trip or whatever. He said I could write a check but that the company always called before cashing them to make sure it was ok. Said that if you sent back the signed document canceling it on the back within 3 days you'd receive your original check back, voided. I realized after he left and...

A young man sold me a subscription to a magazine and I have never received the magazines. This company is a freud. Please do not fall for their sob stories the way I did. They took my $63 and never sent the product. This should be against the law. I am completely disgusted.
Same thing happened to me! There is a website but a reporter in my hometown had done a story on it and it is a scam. Not only will my bank not refund the money but the period for me getting the money back from the company is not going to happen.
