CHILD SUPPORT
I AM A HARD WORKING WOMAN WHO HAS A DEADBEAT BABY DADDY. HE DOESN'T WORK ON PURPOSE SO THAT HE DOESN'T HAVE TO PAY CHILD SUPPORT. SINCE HE IS IN ARREARS I THINK THAT HE SHOULD BE PUT IN JAIL FOR A MONTH OR SO TO THINK ABOUT WHY HE SHOULD BE WORKING. SOMEONE REALLY NEEDS TO LOOK INTO SOME FORM OF PUNISHMENT SO THAT THESE DEADBEATS WOULD THINK TWICE BEFORE THEY DECIDE THAT THEY DON'T HAVE TO WORK OR DECIDE TO FIND ODD JOBS THAT ARE OFF THE RECORD.

I actually tried to meet a mutal agreement but he was not feeling that. He told me if he couldn't have me he didn't want to have anything to do with the kids. He was a very good dad before we split. I didn't want to stay home barefoot and pregnant and he didn't like the idea that I wanted to go to school and further my education and work too. Don't misunderstand me, all men aren't like him. I have a very good boyfriend who supports my childeren as well as his own. I just think that if he knows that there is a consequence he just might straighten up. He is terrified of going to jail. My children are now 16 & 18. I think that I have supported them all alone long enough. He has escaped the system all of these years. Now you tell me if that is fair to me or our beautiful children.

The state of Florida has started retaining all of my child support payments for assistance I recieved years ago.My ex-husband has never paid in a timely manner and now that he is the state is taking it. I feel like I am paying the state back when he should be paying them back because he didn't pay child support. Anyone have any idea what I can do to stop the state from retaining my payments?

yes there is a coourt order.I was told that after he paid me in full then he would start paying the state..They said it was his responsibility to pay the state back since he wasn't paying child support. I feel like I am paying the state back not him!

me and other parent are complaining about child support not working and doing what they are pay to do, is make no-custody parent pay and if the tax do there job there hold that money and dont want to give to the kids. gov and other are not doing nothing to fix this and i been calling to place but still this problem there stilling money from the children this have to change
I got one check for welfare amounting to $230.00 6years ago and Child support has been retaining my ex's income refund ever since. How much do I have to owe for one check? Is it including the foodstamps and medicaid?
I have been trying to get my child support enforced for about two years and now the arrears are nearly $19000.
Why doe it take 2 months for back child support to be process after the judge has granted it.
IRS, Dept of Family Services, and The Levy Coordinator have no idea where the money is.

my kids father lives in ga. now and owes me back and present child support.and it seam that nothing is being done about it . i have given them all of his information and still nothing .he has paid me $50 dollars since sept. of last year and he is court ordered to pay me 321 a month, so what should i do ?
John Felix owes thousands in child support, and has paid very little over the past 11 years. I think the last check received over a year ago was for $11. He is from Anchorage Ak, and I believe is living in the Seattle area.
My wife and I divorced, we have three wonderful children, we share custody, yet I still have to pay child support...I can barely make it on my own as it is...I was told I couldn't ask for receipt's from my ex-wife, I wanted to make she was spending the money on my kids (low and behold she showed up to pick my kids up with a brand new car), I can't claim paying child support on my taxes..and she doesn't have to claim the child support on her taxes...the entire system is a joke!
I am a father of 2 boys. I will start out by saying that I lived with the mother for 5 years, helping raise another child she had from a previous marrage. I was kicked out of the home so she could move the guy down the street in. I still tried getting the kids as much as I could, but was denied multiple times, only when it was acceptable in the mothers eyes. At the child support hearing, both of us had to fill out a financial disclosure, showing what all bills we were responsible for. My disclosure was not taken into consideration when I was ordered to pay the full 25%, amounting to $490 a month. Since then I had to move out of state to the nearest relative who had room for me, that being my mother. Where I am now, the job market that I have an associates degree in is very low, and finding a job is very hard. I got a letter from child support saying I'm behind $4, 491.26. They will be pursuing further actions with jail for 60 days or prison for 2 years. All this because the courts do not care for the non-custodial parents, and a parent who is bent on oppressing the other so they get what they want. Child support has become nothing but a weapon for custodial parents that can't handle having any amount of power responsibly. So tell me, when I get out, with no license, no vehicle because child support took them, how can I find a job? How can I survive?

on my first wonderful visit i received a cold attitude and when my name was called by my case worker a creepy old black woman at the service window said loudly ..that's him the little white man .they made it quite clear they not only hate men, but also make you aware of your race .in case you forget .
scary part is i have supported my child from day one and i got that treatment .
they seriously lack professionalism but are at no shortage of hatred for men..
I HAVE A COMPLAINT AGAINST THE COMPANY CALLED THE CHILD SUPPORT SPECIALISTS. THEY HAVE BEEN COLLECTING CHILD SUPPORT FROM MY SONS FATHER SINCE THE YEAR 2000. I JUST RECIEVED A CHECK FROM THEM ON DECEMBER 12, 2011 IN THE AMOUNT OF $3, 939.20. I WROTE THE BBB BACK IN OCTOBER OF 200 AND COMPLAINED AGAINST THIS COMPANY BECAUSE I HAD NOT RECIEVED ANY MONEY FROM THEM AND THEY WOULD NOT RETURN MY PHONE CALLS. THE COMPANY RESPONDED TO THE BBB BY LETTER STATING THAT THEY HAD NOT RECIEVED AN APPLICATION ON MY SONS FATHER. THEY HAVE MY MONEY AND I WANT THE REST OF IT. HELP.
i heard he got 4 years last year. hes in a federal prison in mississippi. whos this?
