Double dipping my account for years
it is August 2015 and I am experiencing anger and frustration for the Century Fitness gym as everyone here. my situation is similar with first user, however, I want to do some action; First order of business is to find out if there is an organization/entity other than BBB that I can contact to heard my case!. if no mediator out there, then I'll have to take a legal action to payback every nickle and dime they stole from my account. what they are doing is absolutely illegal in any standard and we shouldn't let then get away with.

REFUSAL TO REFUND
Joined the gym and paid a full year membership because "you will only get this deal today only - no need to do the 3 day trial". Went on a quick (literally) tour, thought the girl was busy so I zoomed right along with her! Used the gym on the first day - could not find sanitizer spray anywhere, so had to use my Lysol wipes. Whole place was dark at 5.30am - had to workout in the dark, showers not working - no hot water on most of the stalls, no hair dryer and no socket to plug my own. Long story short, I cancelled and was within my 10 days cooling period. Received a signed cancellation form but they cannot return my money because I paid debit. They will send a cheque. 2 months later NOTHING. Called multiple times, kept giving me the run-around. I have to submit an official complaint via the Ontario Consumer Protection Act. If they cannot help me, I will have to go to small claims court. Learn from my mistake. DO NOT JOIN.
