Rhythm Energy

This company has so many issues. The website chat is a BOT and can't answer any questions, nor will it transfer you to a representative. It is useless. You have to call to speak to a real person and even then you will get someone who barely speaks English. Then on their website the ToS and electricity facts labels are not accurate. Do not be fooled into thinking they will provide a solar buyback credit, even though it explicitly states they will in both contracts. It is a lie. Worst of all, they refused to provide the credit after I pointed it out in the contract with a representative and a manager. They offered a $25 credit for the "inconvenience". Which won't even cover a quarter of my bill. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. You will regret it.

I been with Rhythm Energy for 4 years now. Recently, they changed my meters and my bills went up in July to $690.64. I am on disability and in August, they gave me another bill for $1189.02. I couldn't pay it because I don't have the money. It's so bad for my budget. So, I switched to another company and just got my first bill from them today. It's $80.00 and it's only been 4 days. That's a lot! What can I do?

I had an account with a company but Rhythm bought it last year. Everything was fine until 2 months ago when I paid through my bank but Rhythm didn't process it fast enough. This made my account late and messed up my credit. Last month, I called with my bank person and found out the mailing address changed to a PO box in Dallas. We fixed it and I cancelled the check. I paid with my credit card to catch up. Later, Rhythm processed the old check and I had to tell them it wasn't good anymore. This month, same thing happened. I paid early but Rhythm didn't credit my account and sent me a notice to disconnect. This is the only account I have trouble with and they don't care.

Rhythm energy bought my old energy company, but I didn't know about it. They called me up and asked for my personal info without proving they were legit. I thought it was a scam. They called again and I asked for their website. I signed up for a year in March and paid on time. But in June, they called and said my contract was up. I said I just signed up and they were rude. They changed my rate to monthly and charged me $510.20 for one month when I usually pay $160. I switched providers and tried to talk to them, but they hung up. They're threatening to hurt my credit. They're not honest, mean, and scammers. Help me fix this.
