BT Customer Street Web Site

This is the worse web company ive ever come accross.A total waste of time and money.Do not sign up with them as they have no idea how to run a web site.Why have they changed their name at companies House a few times?. you have to book an appointment to speak to an accounts manager which takes 5 days! All keywords are wrong etc etc. I have made several complaints to sort this out.I have just cancelled my bank account so I am not paying them a penny more.Crap Crap Crap
Dont sign up no matter what they propmise you

BT Customer Street Con

Hi all we need to put are complaints in to bbc watchdog and bbc working lunch so they can investigate BT Customer Street. I would also like to take BT Customer Street to court for a test case so we can get a president set and get our money back. If we get enough people to chip in then we can expose BT for what they are. I have taken BT to court before and won the day so am happy to do it again.
So let’s go for it. We will call it the Btcustomerstreet pressure group

Ive had two case's with BT now and got judgement on both. BT are too slow to respond. the only reason they go to court is to get the judgement removed.

I have just had a phone call from Btcustomerstreet to say the cheque for my full refund is in the post.
How did that happen you ask? I had to take out a small claim out online the same as Bridget2009 Btcustomerstreet are going to pay it all back and fees and interest at 8%. And they now have a judgment against them. Go on and do it, they don’t defend it, and you will win automatically

I've acted as a consultant in 4 cases against BT Customer Street in recent months...

The first case was difficult and very time consuming. Letters were sent back and forth with BT, who vehemently denied any wrongdoing. However, they immediately backed down upon receipt of the county court papers. My client received a full refund including court costs.
The second case is still in limbo, with BT offering a full refund but are yet to process it. They have been given 14 days to comply or this will also go to litigation.
The third case has been litigated. I believe BT are growing tired of the endless complaints and have chosen to dig their heels in with this one. It's gone through mediation to no avail, so it's due in court later this month.
The forth case (ironically) is a direct result of the third. This company (and their SERP) were put forward to prove how successful BT are, prompting me to contact the company to hear their side of the story. Also feeling ripped off, they are cancelling the contract and seeking some recompense.

My advice... don't immediately jump on the "moneyclaim" bandwagon with the illusion that BT will not fight it. Make sure you have a solid case before contacting moneyclaim. If you're not well prepared, rest assured BT's legal team will wipe the floor with you.

I HAVE ALSO COMPLAINED TO BT CUSTOMER STREET AND BEEN TOLD I AM GETTING GOOD FEED BACK.
ONLY TROUBLE IS MY TELEPHONE DISAGREES WITH THIS I HAVENT HAD 1 CALL IN 6 MONTHS NOT BAD FOR £45.00 PER MONTH. WHAT A RIP OFF

I paid over £2, 000 to BT Customer Street for 2 web sites 11 months ago and have had no results from either. I don't see how they can get away with it. I've been in dispute with them over their claims they made to me, but was told that they had destroyed my initial sales call so there is nothing I can do.

I am also in dispute with this company and have recently started to put together a list of those with issues with a view to bringing a group action against them.

I have one who has been charged £400 / month for an 'A' level standard website with an email address and reply page that was wrong and didn't work for approx 4 months.

Terrible company preying on small businesses, already emailed you and you have my support. Lets fight them all the way. I am not willing to accept the disgusting way I have been lied to and treated by BT Customer Street.

BT Customer Street Scam and lies

Informed that this was a Website design service which would bring in extra work - rubbish. The Website is no better than free build your own website and the listing on various directories does not bring our name up as the first on Google or any other search engine. Lies but once they have your bank details you are lost. Trying to complain - no-one answers yopur letters or your phone messages - there is never anyone available to discuss the matter. Try cancelling and even at the end of otherwise you automatically renew! Watch out this Company really bites!

I have been ripped off too, I am totally disgusted with the service and in the process of making a formal complaint I will seek whatever advice I can. I think it needs everyone to get together and attack on mass.

I have had the same problems with BT Customer Street, disgraceful service. Should not be allowed to get away with it! Do not give them your money!

I have also just been ripped off by BT Customer Street. Told me and my partner we would be on the first page of Google for our local area within 3 weeks. They built us a pathetic 2 page website full of errors and inaccurate information that was damaging to our business. Customer service has been non existent, cannot even talk to them to complain. Absolute biggest rip off and worst service I have ever seen. Try canceling the service or getting your money back, no chance!

Publicenemy do you work for BT? With a name like that you should! If a friend of mine had recommended them to me I would never speak to them again!

Avoid like the plague - you have been warned!

Has anyone had any success getting money back from them? Would like to know as I intend to fight them all the way, I am not willing to pay them another penney which they are still demanding.

I have to say that I have had there package for sometime now and have increased sale no end. No it is not perfect but "nothing is" these days. Although I have not added anything to the site yet we will now be doing so soon and my partner and I have recommended them to many other businesses.

In a nut shell if we were asked if we would renew then the answer is yes without hesitation. They do not guarantee first page top listing on search engines or guarantee business but at £69.95 per month we easily cover this cost and some.

Well done BT Customerstreet.
Our weblink is www.lingeriepreston.co.uk just as proof. Why is it people put stuff on-line about companies but never back it up.
