Remitly review: Do not trust remitly with any transfers that are important and people are depending on

I recently sent $200 to my niece in Honduras she received the notification and instructions from Remitly telling her to go and pick up the money with a valid ID and a reference number. After she borrowed the money for the taxi to go to the place to get the money she was told that the transaction had been paused not receiving any notification that it had been paused nor myself or her period to me this is depraved indifference. I called multiple times with remotely they promised me within 48 hours this would be resolved of course it was not going to be resolved it was the Thanksgiving four day weekend the people who make those decisions were with their family somewhere eating Turkey
