They Do Not Honor Referral Program
My complaint is that Red Mountain does not honor their referral program. They tell you over and over again that if you refer someone you will get a discount on your next visit.
I told them I had a friend that was going to start. They had me put his contact info on a form on their form. They also had me fill in a second "business card" sized referral card. Clearly, they had preexisting knowledge on their own paperwork.
Today, when I saw the PA she immediately (on her own) thanked me for referring my friend. I told her that I refer everyone. She thanked me again.
When I went to the from desk to check out I asked about my referral discount. The front desk person and the office manager both told they could not give it to me because whomever was working the from desk when my friend signed up did not list me as the referring person. I replied, you must be kidding. The doc knows I referred him You know I referred him because you have the paperwork for the referral. But because some from desk person did not enter it when he was here I do not get it? OK fine.
OBVIOUSLY THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR COMMITMENTS AND GIVE REFERRAL CREDITS. Please tell everyone you know: If you are happy with the results, sure, go ahead and refer someone. BUT BEWARE: THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR PLEDGE TO GIVE YOU A REFERRAL CREDIT! It is a bit and switch type of tactic.
Im in my 3rd week at Red Mountain Weight Loss and I already lost almost 20 pounds!
Im in my 3rd week at Red Mountain Weight Loss and I already lost almost 20 pounds! Im sticking to their plan and eating their recipes. Im still a bit worried that I might stop losing weight, but every morning when I step on the scale and see that I weigh less than the day before, it gets me pumped up. Ill update you guys later.
This place takes your 500 bucks and says you can lose 20 pounds in a month
This place takes your 500 bucks and says you can lose 20 pounds in a month. They give recipes (only got 6) and the site never works. I went to step 2 'cause I ain't paying another 500 for another month. Still waiting for the info on step 2. The only good thing is the peeps that work there. They're nice.
This program is awesome and it really works if you do what they say
This program is awesome and it really works if you do what they say. They give you pills which is different from other weight loss programs and you can eat your own healthy food. You'll lose weight for sure. The people who gave it low stars probably didn't follow the plan. Everyone I know who did it and followed the rules lost a lot of weight every month.
This company is a scam and they don't tell you about the meds they give you even when you pay
This company is a scam and they don't tell you about the meds they give you even when you pay. Their ads are full of lies and they trick you into signing up. It's like they're selling snake oil to people who are easy to fool. Don't waste your cash!
I can't thank this company enuf
I can't thank this company enuf. I have struggled with my weight my whole life and have done RM3 twice (4 years apart). The first time, I lost over 50 lbs effortlessly. Some years went by and life happened; some weight came back. I immediately turned to Red Mountain knowing how successful I was the first time, and ended up losing another *** I could not have done this without you!
It works!
It works! No BS, RM3 is extremely challenging, but its worth the pain. Absolutely the nicest people, with you every step of the way. I get a call once a week, very supportive and they have all been in the trenches as well. Expensive? Yes, but whats your health and happiness worth? Im happier and more confident now at 60 than I was at 16. Nothing was hidden ergo cost or challenge. Would absolutely recommend this program if youre serious about being healthy and happy. Cheers!
I paid over $500 for the first visit and meds
I paid over $500 for the first visit and meds. After that, I didn't hear from them. I called to ask when I would get a follow-up, but they said they would schedule it later. They said a provider would call me back, but they never did. No help, no guidance, no counseling. They just take your money and that's it, unless you want to call them with every question you have. Did I lose weight? Yes. But $500 is a lot of money for just some prescription meds that might be snake oil and vitamins. I give them two stars because I did lose some weight, but it was probably more from my diet than their meds.
I lost 30 pounds on the RM3 program
I lost 30 pounds on the RM3 program. It wasn't just water weight like most weight loss I've gone back and forth with since my hysterectomy. This was the actual fat that keto, exercise, and diet wouldn't get rid of. The meds target the tough fat. It was the first time I ever hit my weight loss goal on any program. The staff is amazing. If people ain't losing weight, it's 'cause they ain't following the program. It requires discipline and the first few weeks are tough. It changed the way I look at food and I've kept the weight off for 7 months. I did 2 months on step one which was $600 a month but then stepped down on month 3. I've recommended it to everyone I know who struggles to lose weight. It's a lifestyle change.
I shoulda read reviews before I gave Red Mountain Weight Loss over $600
I shoulda read reviews before I gave Red Mountain Weight Loss over $600. They're like sharks, taking advantage of folks who are already strugglin'. Like everyone else here, I fell for the dream they know you wanna believe. I did lose 'bout 10 pounds in the first 2 weeks and thought "Wow, this program is amazin'." But then the weight loss stopped. When I went back for my 4 week check up they told me I gotta pay another $500 for meds. WHAT? I paid $600 to lose 10 pounds? I coulda just starved myself and lost 10 pounds for free. Do your research before you fall for this scam! And their response of "we take flex medical cards to lower the cost of this program"? That's still my hard earned money.
Don't even bother with this weight loss program
Don't even bother with this weight loss program. If you're having trouble losing weight, just talk to your doc. I spent like 600 bucks on the appointment, almost 150 on shakes, and 250 on a control kit. They promised me the world and I've been struggling for years. I meal prepped and followed all the rules and I actually gained 11 pounds in the first 4 weeks. They told me to just trust the process, but I met with a bunch of different people and they all said they couldn't help me. Finally, a manager called me and said she couldn't help either and maybe I should just wait for science to catch up. I wish I never even talked to anyone from this company. The best part is they suggested I just try the transition month and HOPE I lose some weight. I've never felt so alone in a process that was supposed to be like family. Seriously, don't waste your money on this.
I dunno where all the haters are coming from
I dunno where all the haters are coming from. My first time with Red Mountain Weight Loss last year, I lost like 40 pounds in just two months. Then I had to get surgery and was laid up for five months, and I put all the weight back on. But once I was all better, I weighed 236 and started the program again. In a little over a month, I've already lost 33 pounds. I'm doing the three-month program to get down to 190. Here's what I've noticed: - it's pricey, but it works for most people - as you get older, your metabolism slows down, so it's tough to lose weight no matter what - lots of big folks I know always make excuses and never take responsibility - the fat-burning shots are a big help, and weighing in every week keeps you motivated - buy the *** to control your cravings and appetite - if you hit a plateau, have a healthy carb meal like lasagna or a turkey wrap to get your metabolism going again Overall, I'm super happy with RM3 and have told all my buds about it. Yeah, it's expensive, but it's worth it!
I went to Red Mountain Weight Loss on 6/8 to get my meds for the program
I went to Red Mountain Weight Loss on 6/8 to get my meds for the program. They don't take insurance so I had to pay $529 out of my own pocket. I got an email on 6/10, two days after my visit, saying my meds were being shipped via USPS and would arrive on 6/12. But it's now 6/15 and I still haven't received anything. The shipping tracker says my meds came from ***, but I'm not sure. They didn't depart until 6/13, which was a Sunday. There was some movement on 6/14, but I don't know where they are now. I can't start my program without my meds. I asked for a call back by 10am on 6/14, but didn't get one until after 4:30pm. They used to be a good company and care about their patients, but now there are always new people in the office and they don't ship meds anymore. They charge you first and out of pocket. I think people should avoid this company. I can only give them one star, but even that's too good for them.
I wanna tell you about my experience with Red Mountain Weight Loss
I wanna tell you about my experience with Red Mountain Weight Loss. My doctor told me about it and I thought why not give it a try. They got a bunch of different programs and prices, and they sell their own stuff to help you lose weight. I decided to go all out and try to lose a bunch of weight in a month. Their sales team and marketing are really good, they know how to get you. They see people like me who are desperate to lose weight and they take advantage of us. But let's be real, there's no magic pill that works for everyone. I spent almost 600 bucks and a month on their program and I only lost half a pound, which I gained back. I did everything they told me to do, I ate right, took the pills and shots, and drank their drinks. But it didn't work for me. They don't give refunds either, which sucks. If you got the money and wanna try it, go ahead, but it might not work for you. I wish I had read more reviews before I spent all that money. Your health is important, so talk to your doctor before you try anything. I'm gonna keep working with my doctor and insurance to figure out what's best for me. Don't waste your money like I did, do your research first.
Red Mountain Weight Loss is a big NO
Red Mountain Weight Loss is a big NO. I was hyped for the program and set up the video thingy. I talked to the doc for like 15-20 minutes and then talked to other peeps who looked like they were in a hotel room (not a real office). They charged me $199 and said I needed to do an ***. I already had an Echo done in June so I sent that in to show I was good. But they still wanted me to do an ***. I tried to talk to a real doc to see if I could skip it, but they never called back. I called a bunch of times and was put on hold forever. After two days of this, I was over it. I asked for a full refund and they said okay. The next day, another rep called and offered to send me the *** machine for $89 but they would waive the fee. I asked about the refund and they said they could only give me $144 because I had to pay for the $55 doc thing (even though I wasn't getting anything from it). They said they would talk to the other rep and call me back. They did and said they would give me the full $199 refund. But then they said I had to return the *** starter package (just some papers and a tiny food scale) and pay for the shipping myself. They said they would "consider" reimbursing me up to $15 for the shipping and refund me the $55 once they got the package. I told them that "consider" wasn't good enough and that I was gonna write a review with the ComplaintsBoard.com. They said they offered me the *** machine and some supplement credit (which I don't want). They are super sketchy and I think it's a scam. They are trying to make money off of people. The prices are way too high. I found other programs locally that include the *** and aren't as expensive. The commercial made it sound easy, but it's not.
I originally contacted this company after hearing an appealing ad on the radio
I originally contacted this company after hearing an appealing ad on the radio. I wanted to obtain information about their programs/medications. I was informed that I needed to either meet in person or by video appointment. I chose video as it was less of a waiting period. I was never told (nor would I have ever assumed) there would be a charge to obtain further information. After the consultation appointment was over (and I never did obtain the information I was seeking), I was told by the medical assistant that there would be a $55 charge. Again, I was NEVER informed there would be a charge. While researching their website, I did see that they charged $25 for visits made during the program and the appointment confirmation email that I received said there would be a $50 charge for a no show (although it was not clear it if meant after an enrollment into the program or for this video consult). I WAS NEVER INFORMED AND NO WHERE DID I EVER SEE A STATEMENT MADE THAT THERE WOULD BE A $55 CHARGE! I feel this was highly unethical and borders on illegal. If you want to charge a person for attempting to obtain an explanation/description of what a program involves, INFORM THEM!
