Ava Driving lessons 14 10 2025 with Red
1st lesson, Friday the 19th of Sept. 09:00
Ava Messaged Helen at 09:11 asking where are you?
At 09:20 Helen replied that she had a puncture and was on the way to the garage. She apologised for not turning up.
Why had Helen not called Ava to inform her of the circumstances?
2nd lesson, Friday the 26th of Sept 10:00
Helen was 10 minutes late, leaving no message, just turned up with an apology.
During this lesson Helen booked Ava in at 12:15 for the next few weeks.
3rd lesson, Friday the 3rd of Oct.12:15
At 12:25 Helen phoned to say that she was stuck in traffic and was going to be another 15 minutes late! That is 25 minutes in total. After more that this time had passed by Ava’s Stepfather noticed that Helen was sat outside in her car. When she went outside Helen said that she had been waiting 7 minutes and had texted me upon her arrival. Ava had not received this message and told Helen to use WhatsApp in future as her Message service was temperamental.
Why did Helen not get out of the car and knock the door? Would she have sat there for the next two hours?
During her 3rd lesson Ava noticed on Helen’s schedule that she had double booked their next 12:15 Friday lesson and asked Ava to move to 10:00 as the other student was at Uni. Ava was disappointed to be shuffled around like this but did agree to the change of time.
4th lesson, Friday the 10th of Oct. 10:00
At 10:30 Ava messaged Helen through WhatsApp asking where was she? Are you nearly here? Helen replied at 10:35 asking didn’t you get my message? I texted you at 09:30 I’m at the garage and will call shortly to rebook. Ava replied, reiterating that her massaging service was temperamental and that Helen should use WhatsApp.
Why has Helen not called to rebook as she said she would? Ava is still waiting!
Why did Helen used Text and not WhatsApp as agreed the previous week?
Why is Helen’s car so unreliable?
When booking these lessons, I was told that Ave would have access to Red’s website where a calendar of appointments and progress updates would be available. Ava is still waiting for an E Mail link to access this website. Why is it taking so long for this to come through?
Helen has moved to Cheltenham. Is this part of the problem?
We require a different instructor. Preferable one that turns up on time.
