RealTruck review: Lousy customer service

In the fall of 2025 I ordered a Backflip4 from RealTruck as my friend had one and was satisfied. So it arrives at my house and I read the installation instructions and watched a couple of install videos. All went well until I had to install the small foam seal that seals the front of the cover to the bulkhead rail and prevents water intrusion. This material is suppose to be 65" long foam and instructions say to 'cut off the excess'. Well it was short and I would have had to go out and find more and piece it together- which I did not want to do as it should be one piece to seal out water. I called Real truck and asked for a replacement and they refused. I said 'You're kidding me right?. We're talking about $1.25 worth of foam. They would not send a replacement. So I said 'You guys are gonna be jerks and not honor a simple replacement part that costs almost nothing? I can be a jerk too. So this is what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna order another $1400.00 Backflip4 for my truck. When it shows up at my house, before it come out of the delivery truck, I'm going to cut the box open, take out the $1.25 foam roll, close the box and refuse delivery. So an open box which costs a significant price to deliver is going back to you at a loss to be re-inspected, repackaged and resold at a loss. Is that how you want to handle this?' They immediately sent me the foam roll. Today I installed it. Guess what- Still too short and I had to piece the seal in two pieces. Their lack of any sort of customer service sucks. Beware! I would buy from someone else
