I used their lab service in 2016, and paid my *** in full #***. They then re billed the issue in 2019 and sent the bills to a *** insurance company, even though I am in AZ, under the new ticket number of #***. They then sent the ***, 3 days before sending it to collections, after not issuing a *** for three years. This is clearly fraudulent and I had paid my *** in full. Why did they not *** me for three years and then immediately send it to collections? This is unacceptable.

Prometheus Laboratories told me that a blood test that they were going to do for me would be $75. I gave them my health insurance information but I told Prometheus Laboratories that my health insurance company would NOT cover the blood test that I need. They told me that is fine, it will be $75. I just received a *** today (4/8) from them for $2500.00. I called them and the rep told me that something must be wrong with my insurance information and we checked my info. They had the wrong member number. The rep told me that they will re-submit the claim to my insurance which will be denied. I just do NOT understand why they sent me this ***. They should have called me to double check my insurance information.

I am having the exact same issue as the other complaints that I've read against this business. They do not answer their phone, they do not return messages and they do not answer emails as I've tried several times to connect with them over about 6 months now regarding a *** for lab work requested by my Doctor. They have sent me to collections on a $2500 *** that should be $75. I provided them with all of the necessary paperwork, it just seems as if they aren't doing anything except moving bills into collections.

I had an blood test done by Prometheus Biosciences on October 9. In January I received a *** for $2500 which said that Prometheus had submitted the *** to my insurance and the insurance had not responded. I called Prometheus and they asked for an Explanation of Benefits from my medical group and also said I would not have to pay more than $75. First I called my insurance, who said they would fax the explanation to Prometheus. I received another *** for the full amount so I called Prometheus again. They said that they had never gotten the Explanation. I then contacted the medical group who said that they had paid $750 towards the *** and they would send the Explanation. Prometheus called asking for the number of the medical group because they had gotten the explanation but could not find the payment. I called and left a message with this information. Today I got a final notice for $2500 before being sent to collections if I do not respond in 15 days. My account # ***.

This lab submitted my bill to the wrong insurance company therefore I received the full bill in the mail. I called the number on the website. They did not answer. Their answering machine says to leave a detailed message and they would call back. They never did. Two weeks later I got a "past due" bill. I called again, the same thing happened. I emailed every email listed on their website. No response. I called again, no response. This seems like a sham yet I am fearful my credit will be ruined. FL Blue will handle this bill, or try to, but they are clearly lying and hope to put someone in collections.

My husband had a test done through Prometheus Biosciences. Prometheus has been unsuccessful in contacting our insurance to process the claim. On the invoice sent to me from their lab, it indicates I need to follow up with my insurance to respond to their claim. Both myself and my insurance *** have not been able to get ahold of anyone at Prometheus, despite numerous and lengthy attempts. I would like to know what Prometheus suggests I do, as they are not reachable. Perhaps it would be better if they contacted our insurance regarding the claim directly as I dont feel sitting on hold in a queue with their billing department for over two hours is reasonable at this point. I am also sending an email with this quandary to all email contact options affiliated with Prometheus.

I just recently - in February - received a bill for services dated March for $2,500 from a company called Prometheus Biosciences. I have no idea what the bill is for (the date of service was nearly two years ago). The company not only put the wrong middle initial on the bill but also billed the wrong insurance company (if the charge is even appropriate in the first place). Because the date they're supposedly billing me for was two years ago, I've also switched insurance plans since then. I'm calling to try and resolve the situation and no one is answering.

My doctor send bloodwork to Prometheus labs for some IBS trouble I was having and a year later I got a for $656.77! I called and they said that my insurance company, Aetna never send the *** and they needed me to call. I called Aetna and got the ***. I tried called Prometheus for over a week and could never reach anyone. I ended up printing the paperwork and mailing to their P.O. Box in ***. I still keep getting bills and I calling and never get anyone. It puts me on hold saying that I'm in line for a person, but then it either hangs up on me or I finally get a message after waiting for an hour that they are experiencing system problems. I have been trying to call now for months. I went on their website and hit "contact", where I have left several messages and no one has contacted me. I don't know what to do now. I'm scared about my credit, but I don't owe the rest of this ***. I have insurance. I'm at a loss on how to proceed without getting an attorney at this pt.
