Same type situation here. A manager tells me my Craftsman snow shovel is not a stick tool so it's not warranteed. Had to prove it with their own warranty site. When manager went on line and found it, he tried to hide it from me. It is disgusting that a place like Sears treats their customers like dirt.
When a Sears's employee sells you a more expensive Craftsman tool and tells you "it is warranted for life. Should it ever fail, bring it back and it will be replaced free of charge" they should honor the warranty when you bring it back. I always try to find an older sales person who has long worked for the company as they are more honest and knowledgeable and willing to honor the warranty then the newer younger employees who care less about customers and warranties and just want to make a sale.
You didn't pay to sign up so you don't get a dime from them.
Radio Shack, like a lot of stores, has a lot of employee turn-over. Lazy employees don't want to bother to help you. It is easier for them to say they don't have what you're looking for. They want to get back to their texting and personal cell phone conversations. 9 times out of 10, I will find what they say they don't have. I don't make an issue out of it. I found what I wanted, pay and leave. The manager sided with the employee because "she" sounds like an entitled pita. She doesn't know customer service and was not professional and rude. A typical part timer. Contact the regional manager and tell him your complaint. Till then go to a different Shack.
I don't think your dog complained one bit they were broken.
Local, independent, registered, licensed plumbers are professionals. They have thousands of dollars invested in training, tools, parts and vehicles. They make an honest living and the first plumber you picked for $85.00 was a fair bargain. You called seven more plumbers and they were all the same. Sounds like eight honest plumbers. But that wasn't good enough? You call Roto-Rooter which is a corporation management house for plumbers. Roto-Rooter charges two to three times higher then independent plumbers because Roto-Rooter makes a high percentage from the charges. That's why you paid $204.95. Plumbers aren't jokes. Yes, you could have bought a new water softener for the cost to replace a $10 part but without the experienced, plumber with all the tools to install it, it's just a big paperweight. The place you bought the $10.00 part should have had the $10.00 wrench you needed or at lease told you where to buy it. Home Depot or Lowes would have had it along with good do-it-yourself books. You did right turning off the water and power and draining the tank. It is a shame you couldn't get the wrench. I think you would have done a good job yourself fixing the heater and saved some money.
"He pointed to a statement on the counter regarding a 10 day hold on checks."
That's why.
Do you have a dial up modem, DSL or cable modem? I have FIOS and 35MEG download. 800 MEG movie is done in a couple minutes. Two days for a download, that stinks.
Do not take your car to Sears for any repairs as you learned. I bought tires from them and the mechanic didn't put the lug nuts on by hand first. He just used the air impact tool and it crossed threaded the bolts. When the tire had to be changed, the bolt broke. They at least replaced the bolt without charging me but they do not allow customers to watch over them.
UPS has always been a reliable delivery service. Every package has tracking so you can follow it on the internet. You know the exact day a package is out for delivery. If the package does not need to be signed for, you do not need to be home for the driver to leave it. The only time a driver will leave a missed delivery note is when a package needs to be signed for and you're not there. If you know you have a package that has to be signed for then you need to be home to sign for it. If the equipment was so important for your work at home business, it's your fault for not being home both times when UPS tried to delivere it.
A baby in diapers is a baby. Cici's has young children games, young children high chairs, children cups and children candy machines for children. Children don't wear diapers. Baby's wear diapers. When your baby grows up and stops wearing diapers then go to Cici's. Changing a diaper on a sink that customers are trying to use is pure gross.
You don't pay your bills and you could give 2 flyn F*cks. What a piece of trash you are.
I have seen selfish people like you do the same at BJ's Club gas station. Like the posters above me said, you are rude, ignorant and think rules don't apply to you. Get in line like everyone else.
According to Frito-Lay, it breaks down in about 14 weeks if the compost temperature is above 130 degrees Fahrenheit.
Check your calendar, it's only March not May. Are you smoking your compost?
Continental Airlines is not at fault. Just ask the plane full of passengers who all got there early and made that flight. According to the Check-in and Airport Processing Times site, each USA airport has anywhere from a one hour to two hour time frame for boarding. Sounds like you didn't allow for extra check in time and got there too late. Next time get there at least one and a half hours before your flight has to leave. Happy flying.
You stopped making mortgage payments to get their attention?
It worked and they don't want to deal with you now. Didn't help your credit rating either.
Most of us have mortgages and most all home values dropped everywhere. The housing market is going to turn around soon. Like the stock market, you don't sell out when the market falls. You wait till it recovers. It's a shame you didn't wait it out.
It's a scam. Do not send them any money. Save the letter and take it to the US Postal Service. It's mail fraud.
Ebay is still the most popular auction site and they do own Paypal. Paypal is great for buyers as they do not charge a fee and you can use your credit card. It also protects buyers from being ripped off by those few unscrupulous sellers.
For sellers, Paypal allows you to accept guaranteed payments through them. They charge sellers a small fee but they are a business. It protects sellers from those few unscrupulous buyers who use fake money orders, fake checks and fake credit cards. If you don't want to use Paypal, you can accept money orders if you want to. Just say you accept other forms of payment in your auctions. Postal money orders can be faked so be careful if you decide to accept them. Ebay and Paypal are good sites. It's the few bad buyers and sellers that you have to watch out for. Check their feedback carefully first before buying or selling with anyone. Good luck!
They say, "As a courtesy, unaccompanied minors will be seated as close to the front of the aircraft as possible so that the Inflight crew can assist them when needed."
Nothing is said about escorting them off the plane.
"Photo identification is required for both parties who drop off and pick up an unaccompanied minor. Unaccompanied minors will not be accepted without the guardian's photo ID."
"Since guidelines vary among airports, please check the unaccompanied minor pick up section under the specific airport the unaccompanied minor is traveling to, to determine if a gate pass may be issued. This information can be found by entering the airport name in the search field, then selecting the Unaccompanied Minor Information link under the main airport heading."
Did you do that?
"The child will only be released to the person indicated on the unaccompanied minor form or on the reservation and that person must present their government issued photo ID."
Did that happen?
Loose lug nuts happened to me but with NTB. Luckily my front tire didn't fall off. NTB was more responsive to my situation then Mavis Discount Tire/Cole Muffler is to yours. They're supposed to have insurance for damage caused to others property. They most likely don't want to file a claim for you because their insurance rates will go up or the policy canceled. Take pictures, get estimates for the repairs caused by their negligence and take them to small claims court. If you have a good insurance company for your car they might be able to help you. Thanks for warning us. Good luck!
PeopleFinders can't find your account? Wow! That says a lot about their service. Thanks for warning us.
I've heard told of a Boy Named Sue but not a woman named Steve.
Sorry about your loss. Dogs give unconditional love and deserve to live long, happy lives. Do not patronize puppy mills. Please go to your local SPCA or animal shelter and adopt a loving dog that's waiting there for you.
Stay away from Jiffy Lube. They do not have ASE certified employees.
I have service manuals for all my vehicles and usually do the simple repairs and maintenance myself. I've done oil and filter changes, greased all the chassis and drive train fittings and back flushed the radiator many times on my Jeep Cherokee.
I decided to try Jiffy Lube one day as I saw they offered 4 x 4 service. They said they had everything to do my Jeep right. A proper oil / filter change and full chassis and 4 x 4 drive train lube. The worker first starts draining the motor oil then stands in the pit under the Jeep for a few minutes doing nothing. I asked him, anything wrong? He says I don't have grease fittings so he can't do the chassis or 4 x 4 drive train lube. I pointed out all the grease fittings underneath and noticed he had that deer in the headlight, clueless look on his face.
Realizing I am talking to someone who has no experience, who has never worked on a Jeep before I decided to stop right there and said fine, OK, just change the oil and filter.
I made sure the worker put the oil pan drain plug back in correctly. That is another famous Jiffy Lube problem.
The oil filter on the 4.0 liter, in-line 6 motor has Metric threads. Next to the threads on the filter it is marked Metric. The worker is spending about 10 minutes looking for my filter. I asked him if he was having a problem. He said no. Finally I see him having a difficult time screwing a simple filter on and go over and ask him to let me see it. He turns it over and it is the wrong filter marked USA next to the threads. He then admits they didn't have the correct Metric thread filter. So instead of telling me they don't have the correct filter, the worker tries to screw on a US thread filter for a V8 engine and nearly cross threaded the engine side permanently!
I told him to put my old filter back on, put in new oil and then complained to the manager. I was not charged for the oil.
Had I not known what is right and correct to do, I would have been charged for a 4 x 4 chassis lube I never got, and had a wrong oil filter put on that would eventually cause me motor problems later on as I drove.
