I agree with the complaintents and tjeffers. These "success" stories are all the same and are from the company. It is very easy to post to this forum. i am posting with a fake name, fake email, and without registering.
I do encourage you all to report these people on www.resaleripoffs.com where something actually gets done other than venting. If they get enough complaints on their forums they investigate the company, post their findings, turn them into the proper agencies, and offer a fee recovery service to the victims. Best of all you do not have to pay upfront. Also remember that they are largely ad supported.
Yeah this lady is nuts. I used to work for E-Tour and Travel back in the late 90's (Then Cape Canaveral Tour and Travel). It was a fun job that paid well for a teenager.
anyway this lady has serious gall to prepay for a vacation and then a year goes by and after they try to extend it for her for a paultry $20 to do her a favor and make sure she is able to travel she has to nerve to think she is entitled to her money back.
She filled out a form online expressing interest and requesting more info. She liked what she heard and gave up a credit card. They recorded all the details on a taped verification to ensure quality and prevent fraud. They sent her the trip. Basically they did their job lady!
How dare you think you can now cancel after a year!
NOT A RIPOFF! IDIOT CUSTOMER!
for the realtor above, how would you even begin to say "ask a realtor" lol. every realtor has a mortgage comany in thier back pocket and referrals are all part of the game. Talk about surviving off the dead.. And my refinance with topdot was incredible, i found this site before i closed, asked the questions and i closed with a rate my local bank couldnt offer and the costs were only 9k on a 279k loan. If you think thats bad than you need to shop around and get some truly bad qoutes. lol, or maybe ask a realtor HA
