Make sure to file a complaint with the BBB so oithers looking them up can see your complaint. You might want to report card lost or stolen and get new one so they can't take anymore money.

The food issue sounds just disgusting. Common sense should dictate the employee call out the orders so people get what they ordered and no one is pawing through someone else's food.

On one hand, you have to consider the restaurant has trouble with people taking up parking who are not customers or have finished eating and left. This prevents other patrons from being able to park and eat and become new customers. STOP going right at closing! You've all day to go shopping, so why would you wait till closing to keep trying to do your shopping. No one wants to stay late because of you and no one cares if you are pissed off.
Did you eat the food? Then no refund for you. You could have returned the food intact at the time of incident and asked for a refund.
They were short-staffed, i.e. short on cooks and possibly servers. Having the hostess jump in to take orders is not going to make an overwhelmed and understaffed kitchen perform any better.

Obviously, that family got there before they closed the dining area inside. I'm sure the employees were waiting for them to leave. What part of the sign did you not understand? It clearly stated the inside area was closed and to use the drive-thru. What else did you need to know beyond that?
