ive been doing contract work for them for a bit over a year. as the normal complaints are, yes..they are always late. i have to call them every time to get something. they come back with the "it was needing authorization"
as of late, they really got my blood boiling.
doing work on a color laserjet. the original work order was to diag. no prob. had to get on with tech support to verify. they changed the problem to possibly being the carousel. no biggie. ill install whatever you want. however, the secondary problem on the ticket. i also diaged and told them what i needed. it was the paper tray ASSEMBLY. which barristers third party gave them the part number and i verified on the three way call "ok, this is not the tray right? because i DO NOT need the tray" they verified that no, it isnt the tray. what do i get...the damn tray!.
after installing the new part for the original problem, it was throwing up codes and everything else. in the meantime of waiting for an escalation, they send the part i needed for the paper tray assembly. or so i would have thought. what do i get again?! the damn paper tray! i made sure each time i said "no paper tray is needed!" went out to the customers site that day. obviously, i cant do the work with a wrong part, however. they told me to check carousel alignment for the primary issue. so, i had gone out there for something that i was told to do by barrister.
at this point, ive been on site 5 times. 70$ per trip. i get an email stating they arent paying me for one of the trips due to wrong parts being ordered! for something totally not my fault, they get fined by the warranty company, therefore fining me. penalizing me for incompetance of the barrister tech ordering wrong parts.
not only that, they took me off the repair call!
i talked to the branch manager and reamed her out. basically giving me the "we still arent paying you for one of the trips". BS! i requested to talk to her boss. i then got the excuse "im the branch manager here"
my reply. "thats fine, but you also have a boss. i want to talk to that person" so, ill be waiting on an email that probably wont come. so, if someone could get me the CEO email or contact info. that would be great. email me at jbfirebird69 @ hotmail
at some point, i will stop doing work for them. right now, i can use the money
its been a while since i posted on here about my problem. i have stopped working for these tools since then because of them telling me im not going to get paid because i didnt do something correctly. but, then i show them proof and then they come up with another excuse up until they had no more excuses. then they just said "your still not getting paid for it".
as everyone has mentioned, extremely long hold times to get through to anyone for either support or to check in/out. if you havent had an issue with them YET. congrats. but, what happens when you do? all of the tips of "you should have followed their guidlines" or "followed their rules" can suck it. i always sent materials back and sent them the info back the same exact day i did the work. i was always there early and followed what their requirements were.
for those that think that this is a respectable company, ask yourself this...how many self respecting companies come onto all complaint boards, such as this one to try to come up with excuses or argue with people listing their problems? also, what other self respecting company makes their own website lying to the public saying that all of these complaints are fake?
here are a couple things they have on this website they made---
"Barrister Global Services complaints are not based on any truth these are all of not fact based. Any type of such complaint which had been been posted any where on internet are of no use."
Barrister Global Services Network Complaints all FAKE, Barrister Global Services Complaints are totally fake. These Barrister Global Services Complaints are posted by Barrister Global Services Network competitors and by those technicians who wanted to harm Barrister Global Reputation."
"A lots of complaints are being posted on internet and much had been being said that Barrister Global Services scams.
Are these scams are correct, really Barrister Global Services Network is really a scam. So I will clear air about Barrister complaints and Scam.
After going through internet I found that most of these scam posts are made by Barrister critisizer and competitors. "
be the judge for yourself. here is the link----http://barrister-global-services-scam.blogspot.com/

posting something like this how they did it, is just giving themselves a bad rep by trying to cover things. they are getting a bad rep for a reason. search the web for "barrister global services" and see how many of those are complaints.
what you may not realize is that due to one year ending and a new one beginning, everyone that has an FSA account is submitting claims. as you should know, FSA is use it or lose it. everyone is getting those final claims in which is the reason for the 22 business days. plus, now that everyones accounts have been refilled with money because of the new year starting, eveyone is getting claims in to use it.
these claims have to be entered in by hand. they are entered in the order they are recieved. think about how many people in the country have these accounts. especially how many are being recieved at one time for october-april timeframe
united healthcare deals with medical coverage. you would have a seperate vendor that covers your prescriptions.
United Healthcare deals with your medical insurance. not your prescription coverage. also, underwriters write your benefits in accordance with what the employer group opts for. so, before you go blaming insurance companies, regardless of blue cross blue shield, united helathcare, aetna, etc, you may want to start blaming your employers for changing your benefits
your right. it isnt anything new. but it still normally takes 10 business days to do it if there wasnt a backup of claims. right now, there isnt a backup. so, the normal 10 bd applies. you wont be getting paid from any fsa/hra immediately. it sure would be nice, but regardless of the insurance, it wont happen. claims have to get entered in by a human then it processes by the system after its entered.
Mud bug, learto refrain from using the submit button so much and learn american english instead of the indian gibberish you towelheaded camel jockey
this reiterates that old people and computer "un"savvy shouldnt use the interwebz
actually, if the address on file is what they are sending to, its not their fault. HIPAA regulations wont apply. if the policy that you are receiving the correspondence for, is group insurance, Humana may not be able to change the address. i dont work for humana, so i dont know how they operate. i do work for a competitor. we dont have the ability to change addresses without an update from the employer that the group insurance is through.
sounds like you need a lesson in how insurance and what medical terminology is. i would like to disclose that i DO NOT work for humana. i do work for a competitor though. alot of bad rep is given to insurance because of not knowing. which, seems to be the case here.
the company i work for, we also cannot send out the outlines of coverage. with retiree plans or group plans, the employer would have these to send out.
the first large discrepency with your complaint is sending blood work to a hospital. you argue that its not outpatient. its a lab. Yes, it is a lab. but a hospital is an "outpatient facility". a lab would be a free standing company that would do only lab work. they would not be part of a hospital. LabCorp and Quest diagnositcs are examples of what a lab really is. if you send bloodwork to a hospital, it is going to come back as outpatient hospital.
as far as being billed for out of network...that one is always a touchy subject. it is true that its your responsibility to ensure who treats you, is in network. if you go to an outpatient facility for a stress test, your going to get a bill from the facility and from the physician. ya, you checked to make sure the facility was in network, what about any other parties that are going to submit a bill also? saying it isnt your responsibility is just trying to place blame on someone that it doesnt belong to. your a grown person, you have every ability to take care of things yourself. i hate to sound blunt, but there are alot of people that try to throw an excuse to save some face.
i know for sure that humana has a website that allows its members to view their providers and your member benefits.
insurance companies dont try to find loopholes to not pay. but, they are going to strictly follow the medical terminology and what an employer puts in its retiree or active employee benefit package. insurance companies dont make money off of how things are processed. you pay the providers for each individual service that you recieve. not the insurance. so, for these services that they arent covering for some reason, the bill isnt coming from humana. it will be coming from the doctor and the doctor wont be sending money to humana.
you know, you are hard to figure out. mainly because no one can understand the gibberish you are typing. and im being serious.
it seems that you are against how barrister treats its techs, but at the same time, you favor them when i post links.
against them. im against barrister and i havent done a service call for them for over 2 years now. nor will i going on in the future.
so, either your confused or ###ed. at the moment, im thinking both? not only can you not type in complete sentances that make sense, but you throw out the worst insults. and yes, i do think you post over and over to see yourself ..."look at me mom, im a turd on the interwebz~"
I get a lot of calls from other companies. I haven't taken calls for any of them recently. Too busy. One of them operatess their work like barrister, but easier to get through to the phone reps and getting paid is easier. They also pay more.
One of the others, they post the work on their tech portal, you get an email of new postings in your area and you can bid on the work.
The remote area I live in, the computer place here, they don't do the this type of callout work, so they reference me when these places call them. So, I have a monopoly on the area
i think you have me confused. i didnt start this "barrister pay crap". i put my .02 in, but i definately didnt start it. when i get the service calls, not from barrister, i make sure i get it to equal at least 20 an hr. or more. since i was already making 11 an hr at my daily job, i wouldnt have done a job for 10-14. i dont know what kinda places that are calling you, but you got screwed if you accepted those low paying ones.
one of the most recent places i was getting work at would pay me 80 for the call. the last two calls from them was replacing a transfer roller on a full size thermal printer. took me 30 mins.
the OP has to be a box of bricks to think its the greeters job to stop shoplifters. in the industry, you arent supposed to be a hero and stop shoplifters. if you get caught red handed, the police will come regardless. face the fact, you didnt do your job. if you were there shopping, you let him wander around while your doing so, how are you going to blame someone else for your kids stupidity. i dont give a damn what your excuse is. and yes, i can read. end point of the story is, he got busted for being wrong. i guarantee he doesnt do it again. nothing you can say can justify what he did.
if you heard the management say "let him go through, were going to arrest him", wouldnt that have put up a red flag to say something is wrong. i assume you were standing next to him when the alarm went off. that is another red flag that tells you something is up. unless of course you werent with him. at that point i say, why are you a bad partent to let him walk out of the store on his own?
point blank, walmart greeters primary job is to greet people. they are old or handicapped most of the time.
your son stole something.
stealing is illegal punishable by jail time.
beat those facts. in fact. dont bother. you are responsible for your child. you should be arrested.
trust us, we have read your post. fact still remains. he did somethign wrong and got caught. how can you possibly blame someone that WAS doing their job as a walmart "greeter"(not walmart thief catcher). most times, these people are old or have other medical issues. they arent there to stop theives. in fact, if they make it out the door, no one, including management is supposed to go after them. they also dont have the right to ask anyone to open up their belongings to search.
while you were off galavanting in the store, letting your child amuse themselves, your child did something they knew is wrong, they should have known the consequences(assuming your child watches tv and sees shows that showcase criminals at any point).
i ask you this, how do you not know something is wrong when number 1, the alarm at the door is going off. and number 2, when the manager is telling the associate to let the kid go through so he can be arrested. you obviously knew they were talking about him and knew somethign was wrong. YOU should have corrected the issue.
there are 3 facts, your son is a thief, he got caught, and you are blaming the scene on someone else.
there are times that parents get locked up for the wrongs that their kids do. if anyone should be arrested, it should be you for being as dumb and naive as your kid. They arent going to arrest a 10 year old. but, they are going to teach him a lesson. i guarantee he doesnt do it again. perhaps you should suck it up and realize that your kid got caught and they made an example, not only for him, but everyone else that wants to shoplift.
sorry for the double post. wasnt showing my original post
i bet if you looked completely through their website, there is a disclaimer that they sell replicas only. next time ask youself. "this price seems too good to be true. is it?"
most computer problems are caused by the user anyhow. plus, as mentioned, manufactured computers are disposable these days.
a majority of the people that put themselves out on those sites have gone from highschool to the real world and realize they arent in the lime light anymore. therefore, they post the best possible picture of themselves to keep themselves reassured that they "hot stuff". most of the people are fake and if it wasnt for their looks, they wouldnt have anything.
just remember, looks arent everything. you will go further with, what is probably a normal look?, and the smarts that you have. brushed photos, ya, they may look good, but they are as fake as the person in them. you should be happy that you got judged for you, and not what you "could be" in a perfect setting. the ones that downgraded you are the ones that wanted to see fake and are usually dumb as bricks
should stop surfing porn. thumbs up to ironG89
not that those green towels are rare and they dont buy them by the boxful. when i worked in the food industry, we had boxes of these kinds of towels. i would use one and usually throw it away right after. unless you saw this person go straight from the stall straight to a table and wipe it, i call shannanigans
if you were smart enough, you would google search the name or the phone number that is clearly listed in the title you typed out...http://www.intelius.com/idprotect.html
please, fill us in on their "criteria" for non payments
so tasha, just because a store makes alot of money, makes it ok to steal from it? stealing, regardless who its from, is illegal.
also to add to tasha, im assuming by the comment you made, that you also have or have had sticky fingers as well. or given the chance, you will steal from a walmart or any other store
