aww..isnt that cute. some entry level phone rep is trying to protect his useless employer...good luck with that
but, little do you know that i, as well as many others followed the rules. But, there are incompetent people, such as yourself that screw it up. go play in traffic, ma'am and leave the real technical stuff to those that know what they are doing.
drive time is one of those companies setup so that people with bad credit can get a car. their interest rates are going to be through the roof for the simple fact that they are dealing with people with bad credit or poor credit. i have heard horror stories from people i know that bought one from them that really mirrors this complaint
i do get paid for doing what i do..just not from barrister. i refuse to do work for them. in the meantime, i have 6 other companies calling me to do work, and they actually pay me on time and have the same guidelines. sorry, you think i have an attitude vs. women. i really dont. but only do for those as ignorant as yourself.
i follow this because i get updates when there is a post...oh well, just another thing to chalk up to your ignorance. ignorance is truly bliss since you think that it couldnt possibly be barristers fault for these issues.
i honestly dont care if i offend you or not. my goal here isnt to offend anyone, but it seems i have struck a cord for you to try throwing out personal insults about "your momma...", "i bet you cant get a woman", . etc. well played...well played.

btw...perhaps barrister will get word of your post here. employers typically dont like it when their employees act like this in public venues. they prefer to handle it themselves. but, you say "how could they possibly know who it is"...well, not only is there IP lookups, but with yourself, you have a nitche for frogs. im pretty sure they can narrow it down. nothing i would like to do more than to help you find new employment.
Froggie, it is commendable that you want to stand up for the company that you work for, but to actually believe that nothing wrong could be happening, is laughable. There is no company in the world that does things 100% right all the time, including the one i work for, when i am not doing tech work. it is time to get out of the pipe dream and think about what may actually be. There cannot be 17 pages of accusations unless there is something going on (that is just this thread. there are others on this board). are some of them bogus because of techs not doing something right; sure. However, i can assure you that i did everything by the book and i still got a run around. They tried telling me i didn't submit stuff on time, which i can say is BS because i always submitted my stuff within 30 mins of being completed, including sending of parts. I always kept the proof of the faxing too because i knew it would come in useful, which it did.

The squeaky wheel gets the grease. if there werent issues going on, there wouldnt be any problems being mentioned. But, with so many of them, how can you deny that there is an obvious issue whether legit or not. you cannot legitimately think that all of the issues listed here are false. If you believe that, more power to you, but it shows that you are blinded and dont want to believe what you fear is true.

after submitting it didnt get posted, so lets try this again...

i am sure that you do a great job working for a company as you say, but what you do is not everyone else. One of the issues i had, and the final one that broke the camels back, was the accusation that I (ME, MYSELF) ordered the wrong parts 2 times. After ordering the part the first time, i assumed they had the correct one based on the conversation i had with the help desk. i get the wrong one in the mail. ok, no big deal. i will get this sent back and try to ensure that they have the right one the second time. i confirmed, verified, triple checked, to make sure that i was being sent the correct one to avoid the issue. since it is being done over the phone, it is hard for the tech to understand what i am referring to, and for me to verify what part he is talking about. Even using printer schematics, i got the wrong part again. In fact, it was the same incorrect part i got previously, which i also made sure to mention to ensure i didnt get the same one again. So, you tell me how it is the contractors fault for having this happen and having to try to work with pay issues to resolve. pay issues wasnt going to resolve that, which required me to go to the top of the chain to the CEO/vice ceo. Would this not piss you off when this happens and you get the blame for it? so, think again before you believe that your company does not wrong. You know what you have direct access to and nothing else. Unless you work in pay issues, your knowledge stops at the phone support position that you have and does not give you knowledge to what happens behind the scenes.
We wont even mention the other direct employees of barrister or former employees and what they actually have to say about the company...

"tell me that you wouldn't feel the need to defend yourself and your job! I may have been rude, and nasty, but I haven't seen much better from the people complaining on here. They don't seem any more "professional" to me! " i agree with this, but when you work for a company that is getting such complaints, it is a conflict of interest for you to defend it the way you do. the individual contractors are not bound by a conflict of interest unless they too, are working for a company that they are incorrectly representing. By you defending the company you work for, is fire-able in most instances. As an independent contractor, i don't stand any change of having this come back to me. i work for myself and companies that hire me for my services. If they don't call me, no skin off my back, but that is the wonderful thing about being in our position. Since we are part of the customer base, we can take your side of it and use it as you speaking on behalf of barrister. So, if you aren't prepared for backlash from the company you work for, you may want to calm down with the rebuttals.

i have to agree with the above statement. you asked her to hold it. you didnt ask about price changes.
if i was working there, you asked me to hold it, i would fulfill your request and hold the item and that would have been the end of it

i have to agree with chris. how does this constitute a refund. Other than the fact that your obviously a person that looks for a way to scam money out of a company. every service that the company provided you was what you paid for.

since your such a nancy, you shouldnt leave your air conditioned home. i suppose the temperature was hotter for you than the hundreds of other people that would have been there. or for those same managers and other employees that are working there all day.
