they have made agreements with rental stores such as blockbuster to hold new releases to allow the rental stores a chance to make money also. cable companies, not so much. but, that is the reason why you cannot get movies that just came out on dvd until months later.

i love how people say "fire the person" for something that is obviously an accident. i have a feeling there is a tiny bit of imbelishment to the story. nothing huge, but the way that the story is told, the driver had time to walk to his car, get in, drive to the end the the de culdesac, turn around and come back. how long was your kid running. dogs will run out in front of cars just as fast as a deer would.
dropped calls/static with verizon. going with at&t where they are notorious for dropped calls and that is their biggest complaint. good luck with that.
early term fees are in place with every company. its not a surprise. when you cancelled, im sure they made you aware of the fee as well.

im asking out of curiosity. there is absolutely nothign wrong with that. plus, for those that are considering work from barrister, they can find out straight from the horses mouth the scam they are running. i can sit here all day long, as well as others, and spew my story over and over. all the complaints on this boards are up for speculation unless you have had it happen to you.
as an example, you have people complaining about the early term fees and how verizon is sticking them with the bill. or people complaining about walmart and treatment they have gotten. i call ### on their stories because alot of people embellish their stories to make judgement go their way. you are only hearing one side of the story.
in the case of my question, i can complain all day long about what happened in my case, but is it all true? hearing the workings of someone that worked internally for barrister, will bring more fact to all of the stories listed.

best place to go is always going to be the local garages. they live off of their customers. large chains, whether its pep boys or anyone else, do the work and get it out on a constant rate. people that cant get jobs at smaller garages or their own garage will go to work for larger chains.

plus, costs are usually cheaper because they are all about saving their customers money most of the time.
