What Zizzo doesn't tell you is that she kept this cat with at least 14 others in a small travel trailer that Zizzo called the "nicest place she'd ever lived." By the way, Zizzo didn't show up for the first court date. A very unhappy judge set another date in January. If Zizzo doesn't show up this time, I'd bet a summary judgment will be entered against her. What does that mean? It means that with a judgment on the records, her victim can place a lien for the full amount of the judgment on any actual property owned by Zizzo...house, vehicle, cats, computer, you name it. In addition, the judgment will be listed on Zizzo's credit report, making it all but impossible for her to obtain credit of any kind, including moving to a new dwelling and getting utility service.

Well, well, well. Now Zizzo has stooped to thievery in copying here posts made a year and a half ago on an internet message board to support her case. In doing so, she has committed copyright infringement. I have no doubt the owner of this site will be hearing from the author of the stolen posts shortly.

If you haven't figured it out from the number of complaints filed against Ms. Lowry by RoseMarie Zizzo, Zizzo is obsessed with Lowry. She is now attempting to use this site as a pawn in her four year campaign of harassment against Lowry. All Lowry did was try to help Zizzo, who represented herself as a newbie to the cat fancy. When Zizzo's complaints grew increasingly more frequent and bizarre, Lowry chose to end contact with her.
FACT: Zizzo purchased a cat she named GloryAnna from Lowry. She willigly signed a contract, and agreed to pay $1,200 for the cat.
FACT: Zizzo housed GloryAnna in a small, filthy travel trailer with at least fifteen other cats.
FACT: GloryAnna was euthanized. Zizzo said the cat was sick for eight weeks before she was put down, yet she failed to seek veterinary care for the cat. However, Zizzo felt the cat was well enough to be entered in and exhibited at a CFA cat show shortly before her death. Zizzo initially claimed GloryAnna had cancer, then changed her story to FIP, and demanded a solid lilac breeding quality Persian cat as a replacement
FACT: Lowry's contract specifically states that a necropsy must be performed by the state veterinarian's office in order for replacement to be made. Zizzo did not have a necropsy performed. Instead, she had two small tissue samples examined. A firm diagnosis of FIP at that time, could only be made through a complete necropsy. Zizzo failed to abide by the terms of the contract she signed of her own free will.
FACT: Since then, Zizzo has been harassing and cyberstalking Lowry.
FACT: Zizzo has been banned for life from showing and registering cats with The Cat Fancier's Association due to the libelous content of her website and her continued harassment of CFA breeders. See the proof here:

Hmmmm...isn't it deceptive to advertise a poorly groomed pet qualty Persian as a fabulous "Shaded Silver stud cat looking for love"? Zizzo has done that. The male cat was pet quality, at best. Promised CFA registrations she can't give on the offspring? Done that, too.
Say, Zizzo, I'm curious. Why would the owner of a female cat who is fool enough to be suckered in by your ad need to bring all her cat's paperwork to you and leave it while you're abusing and neglecting her cat? Perhaps so you can use it to falsely register other cats, hmmm?

By the way, there's a cattery I've noticed isn't on Zizzo's list of allegedly FIP infected catteries. It's owned by a woman who bought a cat, neglected it to death and claimed the cat had FIP to defraud the original breeder. The cattery? Shar Dew. The owner of this FIP infected cattery? RoseMarie Zizzo.
RoseMarie Zizzo likes to paint herself as the saviour of pedigreed cats. Why, then, has she used the services of an animal shelter known for it's high kill rate to dispose of her own pedigreed cats? Zizzo has done just that, not once but twice.
RoseMarie Zizzo likes to claim that her site is a consumer watchdog site, trademarked and copyrighted. Yet Zizzo has no authority to mediate complaints between buyers and sellers from ANY registry of pedigreed cats. Buyers with legitimate complaints against pedigreed cat breeders need to file a complaint with the breeder's registry of choice. Zizzo's request for a trademark was denied by the federal government, and the only thing she ever copyrighted was a few pages of random ranting on a website that was shut down for it's libelous content.
I am not saying there are not bad cat breeders. There are. Let me tell you about one. This woman lived a tiny, filthy travel trailer. She had an enclosure built onto the trailer from lattice, and lined it with black Visqueen so no one could see inside. She covered the windows of her travel trailer as well. She didn't want the neighbors to be able to see that she was in violation of her trailer park's one pet per dwelling limit. Boy, was she. This woman had more than fifteen cats, in addition to herself in this tiny trailer and enclosure. There was no natural light, because she didn't want anyone to look in. Her neighbors complained to park management. They could hear the cats meowing...pleading to be released from the filth and darkness they were kept in.
Eventually, she was evicted for violating the terms of her tenancy. This breeder could have contacted any number of pedigreed cat rescue groups, or the breeders of the cats. Instead, she disposed of her unwanted animals at a kill shelter.
This woman continues to breed to this day, even though her privileges to register and show cats were suspended for life in 2004 by the world's largest registry of pedigreed cats, The Cat Fanciers' Association (CFA). She promised her buyers registrations she cannot deliver. She lies, cheats, and causes trouble for anyone she has come in contact with.

There is one person who wants to see RoseMarie Zizzo. She's a judge in a California court. A very unhappy one. Zizzo failed to appear for the first date in Melanie Lowry's harassment suit against her, so the judge set a second date in January, 2007. She wasn't happy about it, either. Zizzo sent the court a libelous letter attempting to have venue changed. When her request was denied, Zizzo simply failed to appear. The judge, feeling that even ### like Zizzo deserve due process, reluctantly set a second date. Should Zizzo fail to appear this time, the odds are extremely good that a summary judgment will be levied against Zizzo. With a judgement on record, Lowry can place a lien against any actual property owned by Zizzo to satisfy the amount of the unpaid judgement.
I'd recommend she take Zizzo's computer, first.

What RoseMarie Zizzo has posted is not testimony, rather, it is her opinion. That's a fact. Nothing Zizzo has posted on this site, or any other, would stand up in court. That is going to be hammered home to her in a California court in January, 2007. Zizzo claims that proof isn't needed because she's a good Christian, and doesn't lie. Zizzo has lied so many times she has convinced herself her claims are truthful. They are not.

The most important fact to remember is that the only bad pedigreed cat breeder posting on this site is RoseMarie Zizzo. A fact which was recognized by CFA, the world's largest registry of pedigreed cats in June 2004 when they suspended her for life.
Then again, remember Zizzo's words posted above..."CFA is not our authority nor does CFA have any meaning to us,...". Hmmm...if CFA means so little to Zizzo, why does she continue to advertise that she can provide CFA registrations on her cats and kittens? Could it be because CFA means a great deal to her in terms of the amount of money she can make off the backs of her cats because of their reputation? I think so.
Here's another fact: RoseMarie Zizzo's expert legal representation was, and probably still is, provided by the firm of Parker-Stansbury, a prepaid law firm. For a set fee this firm will write legal letters based solely on the information provided to them by their customer. No research is done by the firm to check out the client's claims. They just write the letter and sign their name. Oooooohhh, scary!
One could say that their advice is just as good as what Zizzo pays for it. A Parker-Stansbury attorney wrote, signed, and sent a letter to one of Zizzo's victims which stated the victim must "seize and desist" her actions in speaking out against Zizzo. I don't know what law school this esteemed member of the bar matriculated from, but they certainly didn't hammer into his brain that it's "cease and desist", not "seize".
Then again, this poor man got stuck dealing with Zizzo as a client. Shall we send him a sympathy card? I'll provide the stamp.
FACT: Rosemarie Zizzo purchased a cat (GloryAnna) from Melanie Lowry for $1,200.00.
FACT: Zizzo had the cat in her possession for 11 months.
FACT: Zizzo sent Lowry an e-mail stating that the cat had been sick for eight weeks.
FACT: During this eight week period, Zizzo, although claiming the cat was sick, failed to take the cat to a veterinarian to see what was wrong. She did, however, consider the cat well enough to enter and exhibit her in a CFA cat show.
FACT: Zizzo had the cat euthanized.
FACT: Lowry's contract of sale clearly states her health guarantee, and that a necropsy performed by the state veterinarian's office is required to prove the cat's cause of death should the buyer seek a replacement cat.
FACT: Zizzo signed said contract.
FACT: Zizzo threw away her copy of said contract.
FACT: Zizzo initially told Lowry the cat she purchased died of cancer.
FACT: Zizzo changed her story to FIP.
FACT: Zizzo has not provided Lowry with a copy of the necropsy reports proving her claim of FIP. Why? Perhaps because none was ever performed.
FACT: What Zizzo claims is a necropsy report is actually a report of tests performed on two small samples of tissue which cannot conclusively be proven to have come from the cat Zizzo purchased from Lowry. Strangely enough the report stated that the prognosis for the animal the samples were taken from is poor. If these samples were taken from GloryAnna, then the prognosis was indeed poor, because the cat was already dead.
FACT: Since then, Zizzo has been conducting a campaign of harassment against Lowry.
Keep up the good work, Zizzo. You've done a superb job of proving the suit pending against you in a California court for harassment.
By the way, you've also made an interesting demand for money. Does Social Security know how you supplement your disability income?
