How did you find this site, Rebecca? Did you just "happen" to google your "friend's" name and it popped up? Or did she just put you up to it? I'm thinking the latter of the two.
The only thing Betty Sleep is conscience of is making other people's lives pure misery and hell. She's a ###, pure and simple. She thrives on hunting people down and calling them out, and if her hunt brings her home empty handed, she'll just make it up, and post it for the world to see.
I will agree with one thing you've said: " I think it's sad that people feel it is appropriate to smear other people's names via the internet". I think it's sad too. So why don't you tell your "friend", Betty to stop being so INappropriate and stop smearing other people's names via the internet?
My seven years experience with Betty Sleep as a 'pet owner' has been nothing but wonderful. I think she is extremely conscientious and a very ethical breeder. I have found a true fellow animal lover in her, which is rare - and stay in touch with her regularly - and she is a valued resource for cat issues for me as well. I have also used her editing services without incident and have great respect for her as a writer/editor. If there is any question that this is a legitimate post, I would invite anyone to contact me. I think it's sad that people feel it is appropriate to smear other people's names via the internet and just wanted to add my voice to the people in support of her.
I agree, Betty Sleep is a wicked person with a ill agenda. She is a hateful individual with a mouth that's true insanity.
She acts out her cry's of hate by false reports to victims family, families employers, friends, police, schools of children, what ever she finds out about you or your family she will use to her ill agenda. Only to prove she is a criminal to those who she contacts.
I've seen pictures of her cats, they are very beautiful... I also seen pictures of Zizzo's cats ... they are also beautiful, I have seen both these people spew words on forums and ... one can only assume Betty Sleep + Rose Marie Zizzo = one and the same.

You're "not intending to get involved". Yeah, riiight. Just so you all know--the above letter was written by Betty Sleep herself. She loves to tout herself as being an upstanding citizen, when in fact, she's nothing short of a hateful, spiteful, lonely woman with too much time on her hands.
I've seen Betty Sleep act in a "malevolent", "deplorable", AND "unethical" way, sometimes ALL ON THE SAME DAY!
Betty Sleep's life DOES revolve around online chatting. The "facts" that she's spewed in her online life are 90% WRONG, but she states it as if it's gospel. Take a look at her signature line. HA! She's nothing short of a STALKER! How much time do you think she spends gathering all of the information that she's spitting out on that chat? WEEKS AND MONTHS WORTH. All the while calling other people 'stalkers'. What a crackpot!
She's also stalked a person known as "kinzel" on [url]www.pluba.com[/url] Go over there and do a search on "Kinzel" by the author of "PublicAlert"--Betty Sleep's user id for that forum.
As far as her editing business goes, she's in the habit of passing people's manuscripts around without the author's permission, to others to make fun of on the same pluba board above. Isn't that professional? And so kind of her too, not to mention unethical, and ILLEGAL. It's there for ALL to see at pluba.
I do NOT recommend ANYONE with brains use her cattery, as they will have to deal with her for years to come, (unless you LIKE being stalked) nor should they use her editing business unless you'd like to have your book splattered for all to see without your permission.
Forget it Betty. Your fake letter above isn't going to fly. You're an unrelenting, malicious, blackhearted person. Make all of the assumptions you'd like, Betty. It doesn't matter anyway, as you've made so many enemies that it'll take the rest of your blackhearted days to figure out who dislikes you enough to write the complaints about you on this board.

I have no knowledge of the details of Ms. Zizzo's complaints or of any other respondents, but I can say that I own two cats that I purchased from Betty Sleep of Carraig Birmans, and both of them are healthy and exceptionally sweet-tempered. In the past, I have also owned other Birmans purchased from other breeders, and I honestly have to say that Betty Sleep's Birmans are the very best I've ever had. I have owned these cats for six years now, and in that time I have found Betty Sleep to be nothing short of courteous, friendly, and honorable in all her business dealings with me.
While any breeder of any animal will most likely encounter an occasional problem -- that is the nature of the business, as breeding is an inexact science -- I have never seen Betty Sleep behave in a "malevolent", "deplorable", or "unethical" way. In fact, she has always been the opposite.
As for her personal life, the complaints lodged by Ms. Zizzo are in fact FALSE and are, in my opinion, completely out of line. If Ms. Zizzo has a problem with one of Betty Sleep's cats, then she should address that problem only. It is extremely unprofessional and immature to attack someone personally. For the record, Betty Sleep does NOT live in the woods and her life does not revolve around online chatting with "make-believe-virtual-players" as Ms. Zizzo attests. Betty Sleeps lives in a rural area; her house sits on a main, well-traveled road; much of her online activity revolves around professional editing and writing services that she provides for companies around the world. Betty Sleep is highly educated and extremely intelligent, and I have never known her to have any form of mental illness.
I really am not intending to get myself involved in these disputes, but after reading the complaints on this website, I felt it was my duty and obligation to respond to these comments. As I said previously, I've known Betty Sleep for many years, and have never known her to be the type of person depicted in these complaints.
I agree 100% with the Betty Sleep Complaints. I was on her hit list while on ButBelowCost.com. I kept a detailed file on all posts and government responded calls. Very smart woman but hateful. Email me for info if you like.
Betty Sleep's name has traveled fast throughout cat breeders and also canine breeders.
This woman is unstable and dangerous. People need to be aware that this woman suffers from severe mental problems and should only be dealt with through the legal system, not one on one.
She has/and will again cross the line of the law for attention. She does suffer mentally and that is not something to criticize, but to try and understand.
Compassion and mental help would make such a difference I believe. But first one must realize that she is dangerous and should not be confronted without going through the legal system.
Be careful, and beware.

RoseMarie Zizzo is a lying sack of crap. She is indeed being sued in a California court. She sent a nasty letter to the court demanding a change of venue, and when it was not granted, failed to appear for the first date. A second date in January 2007 was set by a very unhappy judge.

The only queen here is RoseMarie Zizzo, the queen of lies. Wake up Zizzo, and figure out that in filing these complaints on public websites, you are being a great help to the cat breeder who is suing you for harassment in a California court. Read more here:
