Highly satisfied! I am impressed with every aspect of Pro Star Builders. Daniel the manager is so polite, very professional and knowledgeable. He explained all the options and helped with my final decision. The new doors & cabinets are amazingly beautiful with much eye on detail. I can definitely say that I would use their services again.

We hired Pro Star about two months ago. Neil was the manager of the project. We wanted to repair the roof and also work in the backyard on the landscaping. The project was completed yesterday and we are absolutely happy with the whole service. From start to finish it was a smooth experience. Neil is very friendly, clear about costs and efficient.

They did an awesome job! High quality. 5 stars doesn't do them justice! I bought an old house and started remodeling everything.
They did everything they planned to do in the initial quote and took extra time to give me great recommendations on what I should get done next.
Everyone is done so nice!
Safe to say, I will pass *** the advice to my other friends too!

I have been very happy with all the work that was done by Pro Star Builders. We remodeled bathrooms and they also did a beautiful job with the Landscaping. Neil made the process as easy as possible . We got a great deal from him. He was very informative all along the process. The result is beyond what we expected. I would definitely recommend this company to others.

I can't say enough good things about this company . They were responsive, professional and very affordable! The whole team was great to work with from start to finish as they made sure that everything was done exactly how I wanted it before moving forward on projects. If you're looking for renovation services - look no further because these guys will not disappoint!

Fortunately, I was referred to Pro Star Builders through a mutual friend whose opinion I hold in high regard. He used them for remodeling his bathroom and I used them for the exact same type of project after getting his glowing recommendation. Their remodeling experience quickly showed when they began working. They completed the bathroom remodel to excellent expectations. I'm extremely satisfied!

Pro Star Builders just completed major repairs/renovations to our large exterior wood deck. The work included the difficult removal and replacement of two badly deteriorated 4x6 structural columns supporting the edge of the deck; removal and replacement of all of the decking screws (which were badly corroded); painting the entire facade and underside; and staining the teak decking. We are extremely happy with all aspects of the work, it was performed quickly and competently.

I have a pretty big experience with contractors, some were good and some were bad. I can tell from my experience Pro Star Builders is one of the best contractors I worked with. They recently remodeled my bathroom and they were very serious and hard workers from the first day they came to my house. The worked with high quality materials, they listened all my requests and the final outcome was more than perfect. Now I have beautiful bathroom I really like it. Thank you! I had a very positive experience working with Pro star builders . I hired them to remodel a kitchen in a rental property that I own, from the moment their representative introduced himself until the actual kitchen remodeling was finished they were true professionals, they managed to stay true to their word and followed the time frame they set for this project. At the end I have a brand new kitchen that simply look amazing and as a result I can now get more for my property. Absolutely great work and professionalism.

Pro star Builders completed a gut renovation on my sister kitchen and laundry room. In addition, she had see hardwood floors on her main level refinished. The kitchen was a major undertaking, nothing from the original footprint remained. New appliances, floor to ceiling cabinets, counters, new gas lines, water and ventilation, new floors, etc. Long story short - the project was extensive! Nonetheless, the project was completed on time, on budget AND we LOVE the end-product. This project was her first renovation and we couldn't have picked a better company to partner with from start to finish.

Cold called from this company and it just so happened, I was accepting bids for a front yard paver, fence and artificial grass job. Accepted bid even though was not the lowest. Was told three weeks, four on the outside so that was a huge part of decision. I am in week nine and project is 1/3 done and averaging one to two days a week of actual work being done. On my third GC and have asked for management of any type to communicate with. I eventually received a procurement guy who has not returned my call. As much as a week will pass *** no work or communication. I am in the middle of a nightmare with no end in sight. Have only met with the new GC twice, each time for another check. Feel strongly the reviews are being left by the actual work force or I am just extremely unlucky.

The two guys arrived quite late, but were very charming & personable, had great sales skills, and seemed to know a bit about the construction process. After four hours of back & forth and a clearly inflated price offered, things got very awkward and uncomfortable for my wife & I. We had to pretend that we would likely sign the following day just to get them to leave. So look: here is my take on this company. They will probably, eventually, get the work done. But you will most likely be paying double the price you should, in order to compensate their relentless sales force and the various levels of contractors/builders who will be outsourcing the work to the people who will actually by doing it. And hey, if you are super rich, then maybe you're fine with that. Zero change I will work with this company though.

Beware of this company! Pro star took advantage of my 78 year old mother. Her 6,500 tub and wall remodel turned into a $27,000 "change of order" made and decided by the project manager. The two PM's Elon and Mickey, did not discuss with my mother how much these changes were going to cost until after they were already finished with such changes. Elon made the decision that all attic insulation had to be replaced? No report as to why has been handed over to me. He also decided that she needed termite and mold remediation. They treated posts that were later removed and trashed. Each of these changes cost exactly $10,000. Im still waiting for results from the supposed inspections. They used a computer generated signature on all new changes, which when I asked about it they replied and said that they told my mom. But my mom said, they would go outside and just leave my sister messages and took that as a verbal confirmation. No new contracts were ever signed or okayed by my mother. They supposedly spoke with my sister, but she was at work and was never available to talk. My mother is 78 and doesn't speak English well. They did very poor rushed work for what my mother paid. The wall was not floated. It's a bumpy mess. The tub was ordered incorrectly and was too small for the space. They would not fix. There solution was to either replace tile to fit tub or to fill in 4 inch gap with grout! Instead they just put a ugly piece of wood. The tub wall liner was ordered correctly to fit the larger tub that was not ordered correctly. So now the tub and wall don't line up. They tried to say that was so the wall wouldn't get wet. Another lie! Needless to say this company is not to be trusted. I believe this is a case of Elder Abuse, beware!

This trash company claims they don't do cold telemarketing phone calls in response to other bad yelp reviews but that's exactly what they do. I got a call from a typical telemarketing fake number you can't call back *562*267*6318, the person who called claimed to be a project manager for California Pro Builders. They were extremely pushy about trying to set an appointment for someone to come provide an estimate. I asked for photos of their work and they provided me a website californiaprobuilders.net this website looks like a generic website with zero contractor license information and a bunch of stock photos. I pointed out it was stock photos and they got defensive and hung up. But the website did include a phone number *866*772*6161. When you google search that number you get the results for Pro Star Builders at this website prostarbuildersinc.com and the *866*772*6161 is listed as their main number not just on their website but also with the state license board. I also searched on Facebook where they have a different number listed *818*213*0683. First I called the *818*213*0683 number and a woman answered the phone, she confirmed that the fake website californiaprobuilders.net belongs to them but wouldn't give me any further information unless I provided her the name of the person who cold called me. I asked why they felt the need to provide a fake website with a fake company name instead of just being honest about who they were and giving me their real website, then she hung up on me. I tried the *866*772*6161 number and this time a different woman answered the phone, she said she was the receptionist and told me that californiaprobuilders.net must be associated with the outside telemarketing company they contracted and she was unaware of this website but did confirm that the number listed on this fake website belonged to them. She also claimed that she was not aware of any cold call marketing as they only get qualified leads from Angie's List. She got really defensive when I told her that I spoke to someone who confirmed that the fraud website belonged to the company. After I provided her the number from facebook and asked her if she knew whose number it was, she went silent and would not respond. I'm not sure why this company thinks they can get away with conducting business this way and not be transparent with consumers about their company practices.

We had a HORRIFYING experience with getting a quote with this company. We were BULLIED and NAME-CALLED when we rejected their business. This company is pushy, rude, and unprofessional. I would give 0 stars if I could.

I received a cold call from someone named Jerry Goodwin asking if I needed renovation services. Since I just had my house remodeled, I declined. He then asked if I was interested in getting a quote for landscaping. Since I was in the market for that, I hesitantly agreed. He mentioned he was from "California Pro Builders" (which was NOT this company, and yet someone from this company came to my house).

Someone named Eylon*** (from Pro Star Builders) came to the house to work with my mom to provide a quote. What started as a friendly conversation turned into an incredibly pushy sales pitch. He was forcing my mom to agree to sign a deal because he was "already there". When my mom said that she wanted to get my input (as we are co-owners), he then bullied my mom into giving him my number. When she declined, he pushed her "Why can't you give me her number? She is your daughter?" My mom was so terrified that she went back into the house. This man then said "Are you just going to leave my in your backyard?"

The confrontation was so dramatic that my neighbor had noticed and came over to check on my mom to see if everything was ok.

My mom called me, terrified, and I was horrified that I had put her in that situation by accepting the offer for a free quote via cold call.

The story doesn't end there.

A couple of days later, I received another call from someone named Kevin Smith from Pro Star Builders to follow up on the quote. I told him that I was uninterested in working with them since they were incredibly pushy and unprofessional. Instead of trying to get more information on what had happened, this man responded "Well we don't WANT your business. We won't call you, you don't call us!"

I was in shock.

He continued "I GET PAID even if you don't give us your business. So not a problem with me! Don't call us! We don't want you!"

I responded "WOW. This is unbelievable"

He went ON: "DO YOU NEED A HUG? I'm not rude. YOU'RE RUDE! I GET PAID! I GET PAID! I don't need your business...I GET PAAAAID ANYWAY!"

I was in complete disgust and shock at what was happening. I was TERRIFIED and couldn't say anything but "WOW"

And he droned ON: "WOOWWW! DOOO YOU NEED A HUG? I ALREADY TOLD YOU DON'T CALL US, WE WON'T CALL YOU...WHY ARE YOU STILL..."

I hung up.

I am terrified, shook, and in COMPLETE DISBELIEF at how a company would be SO unprofessional.

There are several good contractors who do good work and provide quotes without bullying. Give them your work. Don't waste your time being belittled by this company.
