Our garaj door needed fixin' and we called Precision Door Service. From the office lady that answered the phone to the repair of the door we were real impressed by the professional attitude of the employees. When Lee S. drove in our driveway with a smile on his face and the "let's get this problem fixed" attitude, we knew we had called the right company. With employees like Lee S., Precision Door will be around for years to come. Thank You Precision Door for employees that wanna do a job and do it right.

The guy came out on time on 04/02/22 and did a good job replacing the spring. They told me the price, which was okay, but when I wanted to pay with my credit card, they said they'd add a fee, which was not cool. So I wrote a check and they said they'd send me an invoice by email, but they never did. I called them and found out they had my email wrong, so they fixed it. I also asked when my check would go through, and they said within a week. But it's now 04/22/22 and my check still hasn't gone through. I regret using this garage door fix service.

I used Precision Door Service less than 1 year ago and they said I needed new springs, which they installed during the service call. But then, last week, the J arm bracket broke and came out of the wall. Their technician who came to fix it told me that I had the wrong size springs on the door (installed by Precision) and he "fixed" the problem. Today, their General Manager called me (after I left multiple messages last week) and I felt like he was really rude to me. He said things like "Oh, I guess you think our techs can't make mistakes" and "I didn't know this was a money grab" when I asked for some money back for the unnecessary spring replacement. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone who needs garage door service because the management doesn't respond well and they talk to you like you're stupid.

I will never use Precision Door again. My spring broke and I called them because of their good website and reviews. The technician replaced the spring and suggested replacing the end bearing plates. We paid $795. After 20 cycles, the door stopped opening. The right end bearing bracket had rotated over and the entire spring-loaded shaft tipped inward and fell down on the right. The cable wrapped around the door pulley shafts and the top of the door. I called seven times on a Saturday morning but no one answered. I spoke to four different dispatchers who tried to locate someone at the local offices. I was on the phone for one and a half hours. None of the dispatchers could raise anyone. They left messages with three different managers and I was told someone would contact me shortly. Never happened. I called for the final time at 3pm and demanded that someone contact the owner of Precision. Finally, someone arrived the next day, Sunday. He repaired the door brackets. He was not friendly and will not visit my house ever again. We're done with a company that lies on its website about its outstanding service.

Don't do business with Precision! Their business practices are sketchy. Their warranty descriptions are so off-base that they're basically lying. The pricing they give you before a service call is wrong and seems like it's just meant to get you to agree to a sales pitch. They're not trustworthy. Their website and emails make it seem like they care about customer service, but that's not the case.

Last week, one of our garage door springs broke. I called Precision on September 17 and told them we needed one spring replaced. They said it would cost around $300 and we scheduled a service call for the next day. I asked if there would be any extra charges for a weekend call and they said no.

When the technician came, he said they had to replace two springs and it would cost $559 or more with a warranty for three years. My husband agreed to it because he was worried about the door failing over the weekend.

After the technician left, we talked about the cost and realized that our other door had one spring replaced five years ago. We also got an email from the owner, Andrew S., saying we should call the general manager if we weren't happy with the service. The warranty they sent us was really limited and required annual service by Precision.

I called Precision on September 20 and left a message. My husband got a call back and told them I would call. When I called, they said the general manager wasn't available but would call me back. Two days later, I called again and finally talked to Jason Z., the general manager. He was really defensive and said we should have declined the service and that the warranty wasn't really a warranty. He also said the restrictions were to prevent other companies from doing bad work. When I asked for a price adjustment, he yelled that we wouldn't get one.

I went to their website and saw that they offer $50 off for a new garage door opener. But when they came to my house, they didn't honor the coupon. The GM, Jason, told me that they don't have a service call fee if I get an estimate. But when I decided to buy a new garage door opener for $550, they suddenly had a service call fee. This seems like a bait and switch operation to me. I just want my $50 back as a matter of principle.

I got a garage door on 8/25 for 4,845. They said I had to pay half upfront, which I did. They said it would be done in Dec 2021. I called a lot and they said they were still waiting. Today, 3/25, a guy called and said they wouldn't install my door. He didn't give his info, but said it was because my grandson and son in law who quit in Nov 2021 stole tools. I'm mad they accused them and waited almost 4 months to cancel my order. The door now costs double. They've had my money for 7 months and I'm back to square one. This is unprofessional and I might need a lawyer.
