And then, as soon as I asked for a refund, their 12/24 hour support suddenly stopped responding to me. Talk about shady business practices.
In the end, I had to resort to using a YouTube video to figure out how to port forward a port. And you know what? It actually worked! But even though I was able to solve my problem without PortForward's help, they still refused to refund my money or even acknowledge my success.
Overall, I would not recommend PortForward to anyone. Their lack of support and shady business practices make them a company to avoid.

I was really hoping that PortForward would be the solution to my port forwarding problems, but unfortunately, it wasn't. Even though I paid for it, I had to reach out to Support for help. I selected my router from the list of supported routers in the program, but it still didn't recognize it. Support told me that they could add support for my router if I used their tools in the program to help with that.
The first step was to send screen captures of all screens in the router configuration. I did that, but days went by and I was told that my router was more difficult than expected. The next step was to use the PFConfig tool to allow remote login for support to test the router. I set it up, but days went by and I received a message saying that they were still waiting for screen captures. I reminded them that we had moved to the PFConfig tool, and they told me that my problem would be solved soon.
I'm not sure if this program actually works, but I can say that Support was not helpful at all. It's frustrating to pay for a program and then have to jump through hoops just to get it to work. I hope that PortForward can improve their Support in the future so that others don't have to go through the same experience that I did.
