planned pethood plus is great. they help pets who don't have a lot of money. only $10 a month can make a big difference for pets.

This place don't answer no phone calls or messages. Their customer service is bad and they write bad responses to complaints. They need someone to proofread...it makes them look even more stupid.

I been tryin' to get an appointment for my dog for 3 weeks now and nobody ever picks up the phone. I call 'em at 7 in the mornin' like they say they open and keep callin' all day 'til they close at 6pm. I done called on different days too and still no answer. If they too busy to answer the phone or even call back, I wouldn't recommend 'em. They got terrible service for customers.

Planned Pethood Plus, Inc. was better before COVID-19. The staff was easier to reach back then. Now, it's almost impossible to get a hold of them. They don't do what they say when it comes to medications and sending them over. They tested my dog's thyroid at the wrong time, which gave a false reading. As a result, he was taken off for over a month and has been feeling the effects since. He went in for a retest and they found that he needs to be back on it. However, the staff has failed to follow through and get it filled. I've driven there three times to get meds filled that they said they would call over, but it never happened.

We been tryin' to get in touch with Planned Pethood Plus, Inc. for a whole week now, tryin' to make an appointment for our pet's surgery. We tried callin' and goin' on their website, but no one has gotten back to us. This ain't the first time this has happened, even when our pet was in their care or needed care. They say they're understaffed and gettin' hundreds of calls a day, but they can't even help in emergencies. They got bigger a few years ago, but if they can't keep up with their clients, they shoulda stayed small. We never had these problems at their old location, and we've been goin' there for 15 years. We can't even get our pet's records to take 'em to a new clinic.

I took my mini dachshund to Planned Pethood Plus 'cause she was real sick with what I thought was a tooth infection. The front desk staff was real rude and said no one could see her that day. They said they'd keep her overnight on fluids and gave me an estimate of over *** dollars for her treatment. They gave me a list of people that would help me with financing, but most of them were just money scammers. I lost my bank account 'cause I was scared for my fur baby. I told the staff she'd never been alone and they said they'd take care of it. I left thinking she'd be in good hands 'cause they had a TV show and seemed real caring. The next day, they called and said I could come get her at 5 o'clock. I waited for an hour and a half and they brought her out shaking and scared. They said she had an infection, but it wasn't her teeth. They said she had severe heart disease and they wouldn't put her to sleep for a dental cleaning. I didn't even ask for a tooth cleaning. They didn't say anything else and when I asked to talk to the Dr that worked with her, they said the Dr was in surgery and would call afterwards. I called every day for 3 days and nothing. The heart meds that were well over 150 dollars made my dog sick so I stopped them. She got sick again and I thought I was gonna have to put her down. I took her to a different vet and 2 of the Drs said her heart is fine. I'm so mad that for the last 2 months I thought she was dying. This whole practice is a sham. They act on TV like poor people deserve care too. Stay away from them. Your pet won't come back the same, if not more sick than when they went in.

I was dog sitting for my sister's dog and her French bulldog Miklo was sleeping when he had a seizure and was unconscious. We rushed over to Planned Pethood because that's where he was vaccinated. When we rushed the puppy into the facility, the first response from the staff was, "If we take him under our care, he will be neutered." Still, at that time, he was unresponsive and not breathing normally. At that point, we just wanted him to be safe and breathing, and we were in shock and didn't know where to take him. The only thing they cared about was the puppy being neutered, not even his well-being. We received a phone call five minutes before they closed that same day to inform us that he was on an IV and oxygen. The doctor said, "We can pick the dog up if we can get there within five minutes," which was impossible at that point. The following day, we tried to get an update on Miklo after three phone calls. Finally, going down there in person, the staff was completely rude and was withholding information about Miklo because we did not agree to neuter him yet because we were concerned about his age and the health risks of undergoing anesthesia being that he is less than three months. Initially, they said we could put a deposit down to come back to be neutered, and that was agreed upon. After waiting over 45 minutes, a staff member came in and said they could no longer do that anymore, and the only way he would be released is if $2500 was paid. After being in shock, she came back again and said it would now cost $1500 because they are a non-profit. The whole money situation was a complete disaster being that their prices were never set and stoned. The woman who was giving us information had no clue as to what was wrong with Miklo or what happened to him. She was only concerned about getting him neutered and the money we can give. We asked to see Miklo numerous times, and they refused numerous times to let us see him. They do not care about animals or their well-being! The professionalism and sympathy are so horrible there. The worst experience ever! The only thing that is important to these vets is money. Being that they are a non-profit, they only care about neutering and stealing people's money! Miklo was taken to Planned Pethood to get his vaccinations prior to this incident, and there was no talk about him getting neutered when he was vaccinated. The staff there was completely rude and just wanted to argue back and forth. We tried to contact upper management but were given the runaround. For being a non-profit agency, they are very quick to take a person's money and be very unprofessional with us. This place needs to be investigated immediately! They treated us as if we were below them and kept talking down to us, and we were treated very poorly! I couldn't even imagine how Miklo was treated if this is the way we were treated. Once the situation presented itself, they took advantage of a delicate situation when we were in a state of panic and fear.

I've been taking my dog *** to this vet office for 11 years, and I ain't never regretted recommending a business more than I do now. The employees at this business don't communicate either effectively or efficiently with their customers, but they have no problem taking their money at a moments notice. I brought my dog in for a check-up on Monday November 23rd, as she's sick and needs medication. They prescribed her a medication, took the money for it, and I never received it. I called and left a message almost every single day, and no one could take the 5 minutes to call me back and address the issue. I get that they're very busy, but I don't appreciate being ignored when I have a sick 11 year old dog at home. After 11 years and thousands of dollars that I've paid them, I'm ready to take my senior dog somewhere that actually cares about animals.
