Pioneer Screen gave us an estimate and then a month later took our deposit. No work started, no anticipated start date 3 months later. Difficult obtaining deposit ($1,000) back. This was at one time a reputable company. Something seems to have changed about a year ago. On a brighter note, I called another company 5 days ago and they are finishing up today.

We had Pioneer Screen come to our house and measure our enclosure for a screen. After they finished the job, they gave us a written estimate. We gave them some money upfront and told them we had to wait for HOA approval. While waiting, we decided to go with another company and asked for our money back. Both the manager and the owner said we would get half of our money back after they checked our account (which makes sense). A week later, we asked about the refund and told them we chose another company because they had a better product at a better price. Then, the owner said we wouldn't get any money back because we went somewhere else. They made up some charges that weren't there a week ago and said we were even. Don't give this company any money upfront, this just shows how they do business.

If you wanna get a garage/pool/whatever screen, go for the best company in Port St Lucie Florida. And trust me, it ain't PIONEER SCREEN. You'd think that after doing business with them for a pool enclosure and two garage door screens, they would treat you right. But nope, not Pioneer Screen. The pool job was alright, and the first garage sliding screen was decent. But when they replaced the garage screen with everything new, it was a real letdown. The screens are lined up fine, but the side frames are all wonky. And to top it off, the base plate (the thing your car drives over) is 3cm (or an inch) too short. I complained about it right after they installed it, but because of COVID, they couldn't fix the problem. Months later, some dude shows up by himself with a bunch of excuses. He says the garage shifted and the screens are misaligned (which they're not). The real joke was when he said, "I'm just an inspector/initial installer who measures or something..." He messed around with a few screws and was gonna put in more screws (without fixing the problem or making it straight), so I told him to take his bloody screws and get lost! By the way, this was before all the COVID supply issues. Now it's even worse, you can't get any service or work done with good parts. Good luck, mate. Cheers!

BUYER BEWARE. If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Let me start off by saying... we made our initial request for this job in July. It is now mid March. The job is not complete. It took 6 months for them to even start the job... and that was after badgering them daily for more than a month. The job was started in the end of January, of course they made a mistake and ordered a panel that did not fit. So while I was standing next to the worker on the phone with the shop foreman, I was ASSURED the replacement panel would be here in 8 days. FIVE weeks later, and again this was after badgering them daily, they finally came back to install the final panel. In the process, they ripped two screens, along with not capping off support beams on the top. So these will just fill with water, with no escape. We have a support beam holding up an 8x24 ft roof, with one bolt. That does not even have a locking nut in place. This was 2 weeks ago. Somebody was supposed to replace lanai screens this past Sunday, no phone call, no show. Again on the phone with them first thing Monday. They said it would be completed today (Friday), this was only so we would stop pestering them everyday. This morning my husband texted to see what time the worker would be here today... no surprise he's not coming. They are quick to collect your check and cash it, but it has been 8 months and the job is still not done. This was a job that should have been completed in 1 day, two at the very most. I would look elsewhere for screen/awnings repairs. Again, if I could give zero stars I would.

I gave Pioneer Screen, LLC a contract and paid $1237 upfront to get a new screen enclosure for my lanaii. It's been a while and I'm still waiting as of 12/10. The city approved the building permit back in July . I've called Pioneer many times in the past 6 months to find out when they'll deliver, but no luck. They only got back to me once on 10/9 after I called them on 10/8. Even then, they couldn't give me a delivery date.

The white paint on the aluminum frames has blistered and peeled, causing rust. Pioneer Screen, LLC is not honoring their warranty. On January 9, I signed paperwork and a contract to have a new screen enclosure installed for $1890. I gave Pioneer Screen a $700 deposit with check number 1202. The sales representative, Matt Reed, assisted me. I first contacted Pioneer Screen in January and spoke to Bill, who is in charge of the warranty. He informed me that the paint issue was a manufacturer defect and said he would get back to me. After numerous calls to Bill, a technician finally came out in January . They repaired the bottom rail, sanded the aluminum frame, and spray painted it. In December , I noticed the problem again, and Bill sent out another technician who had to dismantle a section and replace part of the aluminum frame. Recently, I noticed heavy blistering, rusting, and discoloration on most of the aluminum frames. I contacted Bill again, and he now claims that there is only a one-year warranty if you live close to the ocean. I was never informed of this initially, and the website states a 5 and 10-year warranty. Bill mentioned that the owner would contact me, and on April 9, I received an email from Tammy Beaudette stating that my warranty is no longer valid.
