Last year My CC had expired. At the time I was pretty sick with a severe allergic reaction and was not aware it was time to pay my PAYG account. Normally I would check up on pinzoo. Instead of letting me know my auto renew would not be put through they did nothing.
When I got back on my feet and checked my PAYG account I saw my account was being cancelled for non payment and my >$100 balance was gone. WTF! I then checked pinzoo and found the purchase was never made and auto-renewed. Further investigation revealed my exp date on the CC was done. That is the only thing tied to the CC for auto payments. Pinzoo failed me miserably. I reached out to the CEO to let them know what happened and I received nothing in return. Pretty poor customer relations by the head guy.
I was able to reup my PAYG account and keep my number, but lost my rollover balance of $100. That is a lot of $ to me to toss in the garbage.
A year later- now 2025, I checked up on my pinzoo since a payment was due in a month and wanted to see my balance of a big wopping $22 to roll over. My account couldn’t be found. My email was not associated with any account on file. Again, WTF? I chatted with Pinzoo over the chat bot and was told that the company was bought out. I asked what did they do- just scrap and cancel all of the existing accounts? I was told yes. Good thing I checked up on Pinzoo or the same thing would have repeated a year later of losing my rollover balance.
So I made a new account with a new email address. The website won’t let me add a CC to associate with my account. This has bee over a week. I just get being told to try again in 24 hours. With apologies….. I am looking for a new company but can’t seem to find one. Sad. They worked great for over 4 years. Now they can’t function at all for me.
Recommendation: Stay away.
