Pinterest is like going to a fabulous restaurant, being presented with a beautiful meal, and then getting serious food poisoning afterwards with no one to contact to let them know they are serving tainted food to customers.

I love the concept and the design of the site, but it is littered with bugs which makes the user experience horrible.

As of now my account is not usable:

a. Boards have been created that are not visible in my account, but recreating the board results in an error saying a board already exists under that name
b. I logged in two days ago to find most of my pins had moved under a single board, but when I edit the pin to try to move it back it says it is still under the original board even though it is not
c. I get 400 and 500 errors about 25% of the time when trying to navigate the site and post new pins

Finally, the icing on the cake, is that they offer no support. Ok, ok, you are a free service so as consumers we really have no right to complain about the level of support provided... but I'm going to anyway :)

a. If you are not going to offer support, you should make this clear. I wanted the service to work so badly that I wasted my own time attempting to find a way to get my account fixed. Only to have my emails not responded to and Facebook posts deleted. (mind you, my posts were super friendly and very appropriate, but they were deleted w/ no response.)
b. One has to question the integrity and future of a company when they have zero interest in understanding and fixing bugs customers are experiencing.

I sincerely hope you turn this wonderful concept and beautiful design into a functioning product. Use that 27 mil to hire a customer service and QA team! Otherwise someone is just going to copy your idea and beat you at your own game.

Date Nov 11-13. Likely occurred prior

Electric lift scaffolding.

States loads 500 kg

Initially shows as Home Depot -

keeps changing!,

There is no way this item is this cheap, plus changing who is selling item.

One site lists as $44.99

Other site $29.99

This IS FRAUD!

I have only been on Pinterest about 2-3 yrs. I have loved the experience, and the sharing of pins
from others. I have no interest in making money, just personal enjoyment. I have had a couple
of problems in the past and it was an easy fix with the Pinterest Helpdesk.
I currently have a major glitch, I am unable to edit and my previous pins have a lot of new wording
under the pins I had cleaned up and removed previously. Got the Pinterest Robot, then a email
stating he had reviewed my case. He went off on things that had nothing to do with my current
problem. He did not address my problem and went off about things that had nothing to do with
me. This makes me sad, why spend a lot of time building boards only to have a glitch change
everything, with no one to help me. There really should be a better support system for us all!

Pinterest rudely and wrongfully suspended my account claiming some nonsense about spam. I was merely trying to send an image from Yahoo to my Pinterest boards. I am very offended and angry about this. I can see nothing that I did to deserve this kind of treatment. Their way of doing business, In my opinion, is shoddy and boorish.

Pinterest is dead. The sight no longer loads. All I see now is a forever spinning wheel. I want to close my account but I can't even sign in.

All my boards moved around. I had them in alphabetical order and now I can't find any of the boards without searching through them all. I have a lot of boards and I can't seem to get them back in order. I have stopped pinning because the boards do me no good.

En-masse exodus from pinterest I think. They develop a forum and then leave it for what it is. I pin very little these days as each" improvement' to the site is actually a major step backwards. I have lost [pin]interest.

Pinterest has suspended my account for no reason.. I have nothing on my page that goes against their stupid rules.. These invisible people are impossible to talk to and run Pinterest like a Dictatorship.. To Hell with them but they have to let people get their pictures back they had... They give no reason but a Generic form and hide behind a wall no one can get through.. I had log in trouble and my Password did not work a few times even though it is the EXACT one I have written down.. All of a sudden I am getting the Suspended notice.

WAKE UP Pinterest.. You are pissing off a lot of people

I'm really irritated with Pinterest. They had me pinning things I was never interested in and then would not cancel my account. I finally blocked them on Facebook. This was weeks ago and I just found a friend had found me still on Pinterest. Apparently once you give them your info you can't get out of it. No wonder they are growing so fast!

This is the second day that I cannot login to pinterest.com Any other site would write back and fix the problem, but they don't communicate. Do they even have customer service? I use the wrong password 3 times, so now all I get are error messages that the account has been deactivated and to contact support. So doing that and and hunting for the right category, the robot response is to just login to reactivate my account. . . only I can't login to do that. Duh! I have to remember if login in doesn't succeed twice in a row, to get out of there and try again later. The number 3 brings frustration an aggravation. I may have to just give up on pinterest. If you try to reset your password, nothing happens. There is no message to check your e-mail for a link to reset it. This is an awful site when it comes to bugs and customer service, yet it is profitable to them through advertising, or they would have the site.

Why am I not able to get onto Pinterest? I should know my email address I'm the one that created it! So tell where I should complain because I am not able to get anywhere close to informing anyone that knows what I should do...

I have a complaint not relating to the others but need this to be said. I am a recent subscriber to Pinterest and was so delighted by the concept. I found all my favorite things on there and delighted in the ease it was to create boards of my very own! However, last night I came across bullying on a pin I included on one of my boards. It was all because someone didn't approve of the item and decided to bash the pinner, as well as myself because I liked that particular item. I let it slide and even apologized on the site for offending anyone, I just wanted to keep the peace and get the mean ness to stop. I woke up this morning and was inspired by another board I wanted to create before going about my day. But, the mean comments and insensitive way that they were posted just got to me that I could no longer enjoy being apart of it anymore. I then deleted all of my boards, pins, and followers and deactivated my account.

Contacted Pinterest via e mail 12-5-13 because pins I click on FREEZE until I reload the program. Got a response 12-6-13 asking for a screen capture of the problem. Nothing since then and the problem persists. NOW I noticed LINKS littered throughout pins on all of my pages ADVERTISING totally unrelated products/services. I did not sign up to be a host for parasite ads. I'm looking for a way to salvage all my efforts to collect things I want to review, try, enjoy, or pass on to others. Like all good things...THEY ALWAYS COME TO AN END and Pinterest is on deck for that reality.

Thanks for echoing my sentiments. I have tried to contact the site developers at least twice to address certain issues that make my account pretty much unusable, though in a different way from what you have described. When I access my account, the only...and I mean ****the only**** pins I can see are from a high class spammer named "chamainezoe." I have tried everything to "unfollow" this person to no avail. Consequently, pins from many others that might be interesting to me cannot be seen or accessed. My other concern is a subset of this issue. Inevitably, there will be content posted of a political or sexual nature that will offend someone. There is no mechanism for a member (kind of pretentious to have to apply for membership, don't you think? As if this would keep the riff-raff out!) to block another member whose pins and re-pins are found to be offensive for whatever reason. I completely agree with the points you make about total lack of support and that, in all likelihood, someone else will take this worthwhile concept and create something that functions properly addresses the concerns of its users. I have been tempted to delete my account and "re-apply" using another name/email but, to be quiet honest, I would rather continue to contact the developers to let them know the account I do have has issues that I am certain many others have and should be addressed and fixed. And, please, don't even get me started on Pinterest's completely horrible ap for iPad.
