I had a really bad experience with Photobook. I wouldn't recommend ordering from them. They were really rude and not very helpful. Plus, they're not even Canadian! I got charged extra fees for customs and duty, which was really frustrating. When I tried to talk to customer service about it, I got Aliya on the phone. She was really argumentative and kept interrupting me. I just wanted to explain that their website should say "photobook Worldwide" instead of "Photobook Canada" so that people know they're not actually supporting a Canadian company. But she didn't seem to care. I definitely won't be ordering from them again.

Photobook Canada is a company that I would not recommend to anyone. I was extremely disappointed to find out that they are not actually based in Canada, but in Malaysia. They admitted to me that they created the name Photobook Canada and included an Ontario address on their contact page just to trick Canadians into buying from them. This is not only unethical, but it also shows that they have no respect for their customers.

I only found out about their true location when I received a customs bill for my order. I was shocked to learn that I had to pay customs fees for a purchase that I thought was made from a domestic company. When I reached out to them, they confirmed that they are based in Malaysia and that they have done this with many other countries as well. This is unacceptable and it makes me sick to my stomach that they are okay with deceiving innocent consumers worldwide.

To make matters worse, they charge shipping fees per item, even if the items are all in the same order and going to the same address. This means that for my order of 3 calendars worth $40, they charged me $29 in shipping fees (3 separate shipping fees), and then I received a surprise $21 customs bill. This means that I had to pay $50 in shipping and customs for $40 worth of items! When I requested a refund, they refused and only offered me a store credit for the amount of the customs bill. This is not acceptable, as I do not want to do business with a company that is so deceptive and unethical.

Overall, I am completely disgusted with Photobook Canada and their lack of integrity and soul. I would not recommend them to anyone and I hope that others will learn from my experience and avoid doing business with them.
