I was on a dash in a dollar general on the 10th of this month and i used my dasher direct card to make a purchase for a drink and immediately after i had 6 transactions for 23.08 back to back and i had to submit a claim with google play and contact the company, which was called unlockt.me(and they never responded back). After 6 days I submitted my claim with dasher direct through the email supplied and had all the screenshots, forms, attachments submitted that were required/laid out in the claim form on the 16th and 17th of this month and the claim materials were due by the 18th. I also had to deactivate my card and didn't get another one for almost a week.they didn't even answer about the claim until the 24th and said it was closed due to not having everything, when i went through very thoroughly and put everything the claim required in with my claim and I updated them on getting no response from the unlockt.me and also the denied claim from google when it came in before the claim materials were due. They denied the claim and whoever did the claim obviously didn't process it properly because everything asked for was included..it was a lot of attachments and i feel like whoever worked the claim was just being lazy or not paying attention properly. I am out almost $140 bucks for this and wasted a lot of time and energy on trying to get my money back for nothing. none of my family have ever been on this unlockt.me site or ever gotten anything from them, and neither have i. I am really perplexed as to how google would deny it given all the information i gave them, and how none of my accounts or my families accounts had anything from the unlockt.me company. Never had an issue until now but very upset about being screwed over.

I was reluctant @ first to sign up for the CC offered by the Dasher Co. to collect our earnings with their promise of 10% cash back on Gas coming to an end less than a month and a half away (8/31). However, after many days where my primary source of income was just not cutting it, I decided why not, let’s give it a shot. My primary bank account was holding a balance less than $100 way more often than I was accustomed to and I was taking advantage of the once daily opportunity to cash out earnings and quick pay them to a 3rd party account of your choice. It was all fine and dandy until I realized that the “no more than $1.99 fee” every time you cash out was just a creative way to say you will be paying exactly $1.99 every day you decide to take advantage of this feature. Listen, I know some of you are saying “dude, who doesn’t have $1.99 to spare.” Well me, that’s who. After a couple weeks that fee starts to add up. The DasherDirect prepaid credit card deposits your Base Dash Pays plus Tips immediately after you end any session. The ENTIRE amount. No limit to the amount of deposits daily. And zero transaction fees… ever Sound Too good to be true? Well, you haven’t heard the best part yet. All of those retailers you’re used to seeing when you’re picking and dropping stuff off… i.e. gas station, convenience store… etc. Many of them have cash back deals available to us dashers using this card when we are the customer.

So far It’s pretty good , it would be nice if the cash back for using the card for gas was higher because we deal with an unfortunate high level of people that don’t even tip a dime and we’re expected to drive 9 - 10 miles for $2.50 base pay only ? ‍♂️
That’s just ridiculous and it makes it harder to actually motivate the drivers because it ends up actually costing us our own money for being kind enough to provide our time and service and wear and tear on our vehicles for some ungrateful stranger. It would be nice if there was more employee benefits for helping maintain and keep our vehicles that we’re using to provide this service because the little “auto care incentive program” that door dash proudly promotes is basically nothing and pretty much worthless unfortunately and for most of us younger people we only have the one vehicle and when it finally breaks down from being used to provide our service in most cases even with the “auto discount program” it’s completely not possible to afford the “discounted” repair services so basically that’s the end of our door dashing days and we just become another broke casualty of the greedy system unfortunately and then simply become replaced by the next expendable body with a working vehicle. But if these things were fixed or even slightly adjusted and enhanced it would show that maybe the company actually cares and appreciates it’s loyal and hard working employees and in that case I would give it a big 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ and even feel appreciated .

I want to start out by saying i truly have mixed emotions regarding Door Dash. I love being able to drive when I want and make some extra cash. That part is great. But the other half of my review is really bad. I think the dasher card is a great idea and being able to have your money earned deposited on the card after each dash is a great idea as well. But having to wait 3 + weeks for the card is unbelievable. What is funny is that I received the "red card" (the credit card I use to buy orders for customers) arrived in a few days! So not receiving the "dasher card" for weeks basically just holds the money I have earned ransom for weeks. There is no way to get cash off it. And of course door dash says you can use the virtual card to buy online goods. Well that doesn't help with gas, groceries, etc etc etc, anything that I really need. And the other part that I find really bad is the customer service when you call or text about an issue I might have. I've had a few issues, very easy to understand, and the customer service rep that answers the phone and or texts never understands the most simple issues. I had one issue which resulted in me delivering a smoothie super late (because the customer input the wrong drop off address). He text me the correct one so I delivered it to him, but in the app it still had the incorrect address. Well I called and explained this, the representative said don't worry that he will fix it and it won't affect me. Wel goes what it is still the only thing I have that is negative on my app.

Well to be strait forward working for dash hash been great but frustrating at times. The zones are useless you rarely are able to to stay in a zone and deliver without being penalized or rejecting orders that are miles from the zone you are dashing in, and when you do accept a dash out of the zone you get very few orders if any headed back to the zone you are currently dashing in. Another negative of about dashing is the base pay is low and that’s ok if doordash required and automatic gratuity percentage too offset for the couriers but they don’t and a lot of the time of you just accept orders without looking or paying attention you will end up cost your self time and time is money in this business not to mention the countless amount of orders that are only base pay with no tip. I can’t tell you the number of days I have dashed and at the end of my dash door dash base pay is more than the customer tips I have received I understand times are tough but the amount of untitled orders received is ridiculous. Without being said you also have really good days where the times and flow and at the end of the day you realize you’ve made 25-30 hr but here in Cincinnati it’s more like 17-20 and after filling up the gas tank for the week it’s almost not worth it.

Another thing about being a Dasher that I love is if you use the direct pay system they have your able to access you funds quickly after the waiting period and the transition from biweekly pay coming from the big pizza companies is great. Once you end your dash the money hits your pay card no problem.

I’ve never really liked the “money card” options from jobs or other places— but I thought I might as well try it to see if I can access my funds sooner than direct deposit to my bank. Well I haven’t tried the direct deposit to my bank route just yet, since I’ve been satisfied with this card! So I’m not sure how long regular direct deposit would take, but you literally have access to what you make as soon as you “End Dash” each time on this card. Whatever you make each shift, up until you decide to stop dashing, and “end” it, is the moment you get an alert that those funds were just deposited to your account! And you can use it just like a bank account or a credit or debit card. You get a card number, bank account number, and routing number. Even before the card comes in the mail the first time you can use the “digital card,” which basically just shows you the card number, expiration date, & CVV code so you can use it online or anywhere that allows you to TYPE the card number to process a payment.

The BEST part about it (but unfortunately I guess it’s only temporary until the end of August) is that you get 10% cash back on Gas ⛽️ purchases! So when you spend $30 on gas, you get $3 back! That’s a huge deal! Hard to find deals like that. So I use my door dash earnings for mostly gas only now. Once that deal goes away, I may revisit how much I love the card, but for that I will give it 5 stars ⭐️ for now! You can get cash back places too to avoid atm fees, and all drug stores seem to have the AllPoint ATMs that let you cash out free. I hate paying ATM fees so I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I love the whole door dashing thing and the insta pay but here in Gaylord Michigan needs some changes you need to get these restaurants to stay open until at least midnight because some been closing by 8p.m which is absurd also we should be able to log in in Gaylord to dash anytime because scheduling ahead may not be busy and also these restaurants need to know that the dash orders should be started on the second they come in not when driver arrives and because some close dining room they should run orders out to us so we do not have to wait in line and if a driver is logged into dash and sits for an half hour or more without out a delivery they should also be compensated for their time because there have been times here in Gaylord I sat for over an hour with no diliveries also you should advertise more here in Gaylord for door dash especially for meijer Walmart and the other steak houses here in town and expand delivery zone to Frederic Michigan because I live in Guthrie lakes Frederic Michigan and I would like door dash delivery available to me as well as being able to to deliver there but the pay would have to be at least 5-6$ minimum if you were to mail me flyers I would be more than happy to hand them out and go door to door in my association to advertise door dash or any deals you mayfer customers my address is 11375 locksley drive Frederic Michigan 49733 Gaylord is a nice big beautiful town that is growing even more but need more advertising deals more restaurants on board and for them to stay open later and expand delivery zone to north Frederic Guthrie lakes. so I just got a text from DoorDash asking me how I’m liking it so far and asking me if I would like to leave a review. This request is met with gratitude and honesty. I was just thinking to myself this evening while I was dashing how wonderful it is to be able to earn money on my own terms on my own time and still be able to honor my own needs as well as a human being and a free spirit. I feel that there is an energy within the organization of true care about the human being behind the task. I unfortunately found myself upon difficult financial times recently. I was afraid that I would become homeless and I honestly did not know how I would be able to remedy the situation under the circumstances. you see I have a disability. I have chronic post traumatic stress disorder. I have degrees in specializations and experience and intelligence and care about myself. but corporate America still doesn’t understand what happens to us when we have an episode. inevitably I have been ridiculed tormented and ultimately fired whenever I have gotten sick. I am honestly grateful that when I feel myself becoming stressed I can just hit pause with no adverse repercussion no right up and no firing.

I’ve been using this for quite a while and it was alright other than the card wouldn’t work at some stores which was fine until Sunday I was on a dash and it was for McDonald’s apple slices for which I had to deliver to a hotel not 3 minutes from the McDonald’s so I did the order went to the hotel go inside but the supposed person never put a room number so I explained to them I had arrived as soon as I did that my phone rang and it was someone saying they were from DoorDash and it was a dummy dash they had given me so that they could verify that I was a DoorDasher. Next thing I know they start asking me personal things and I had never told them any of my personal info I only told them I banked with regions because they asked and I was kind of suspicious at this point so they put me on hold and now while all this is happening their sending me texting from DoorDash support telling me to confirm the verification code they sent that’s all well not 5 minutes go by I realize I can’t get into my regions nor my DasherDirect direct app I’m locked out of both and my card won’t work they didn’t take my money which was weird but they moved it out of my savings which was only about $26 at the time I’m thankful I had got gas that morning so their wasn’t much left. DoorDash even openly admitted that they sent the order but kept asking me why I think I got hacked well maybe it’s because someone saying they worked for your company was able to send a dash to me and hack into my banking account without any information so who else would it have came from PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THIS APP AND THE DOORDASH APP IN WHOLE SOMETHING WEIRD IS HAPPENING WITH THEIR SYSTEM BE CAUTIOUS!

Been dashing since DoorDash existed practically, and the dasher direct option was experimental at first to see if it would work out, it did, so now everyone has access to it. At first I was one of the few offered to try it out and see how I liked it, I loved it in turn, but the only two MAJOR downsides are first and foremost you can almost NEVER use your card at the pump, you have to pay inside or it won’t work. I have this issue at a lot of places and always end up having to pay inside instead of at the pump. That needs to be fixed, especially since they offer cash back for using the dasher direct card at the pump. The only other issue is that if you want to transfer money from this card to your actual bank account you CAN NOT transfer money instantly, it takes up to 2 BUSINESS days and you also CAN NOT add the dasher direct card to any mobile wallet. (Mobile wallet means Samsung pay, apple pay, google pay etc. every time I’ve tried to add it everything works out until the end when you press the submit button and it fails and gives you the error code “please contact your card provider for more information” so as convenient as it may seem, it’s still a little out of date) otherwise I highly recommend it because every time I “end” a dash I get paid for that dash literally instantly. If I dash for an hour and make $20 and need gas all I have to do is end the dash and the money is deposited into my dasher direct account instantly, instead of waiting until midnight for the free deposits that will be deposited into a regular bank account and there is no fee either, with your bank account it will hit at midnight for free or you can instantly cash out for a small fee. I prefer the dasher direct card hands down.

My card hasn’t arrived yet. On top of that I keep getting emails to activate my card and it is t here. I select the help option then it brings me to the App Store not customer service to get help. So now I have to leave a review.

UPDATE: I got the card in the mail today and my spirit told me to deposit my funds on my PayPal card on file JUST IN CASE I encounter a problem with the new card. I added the new card and went dashing again. I started dashing again from a zero balance and now I can’t see my balance or what I earned for this new dash. I was thinking that my earnings would just go straight to the card but it doesn’t which doesn’t help. What is the point in having a card to receive our earnings, once daily at a set time, when we can cash out WHENEVER ANYTIME even if it is once? It just doesn’t make sense. As much as I thought this was going to be a good idea, it’s not. I could have left my PayPal card on file and cashed out when I am ready too at anytime, now I literally have to wait to receive my earnings as if I didn’t have something to do now. It just Doesn’t work. So, now I have to add my PayPal back on file and all I can do is pray that I don’t have to wait the 7 days to cash out ESPECIALLY DURING THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAY and that’s why most of us is out! Let’s be mindful of our dashers needs and wants as well as the customers. Having immediate access, at anytime of the day, to our earnings is major. Praying this is fixed...

UPDATE: I can only get access to what I made at 2-3am est. I have been on the phone with multiple customer service reps to n order to REMOVE THIS CARD FROM MY PROFILE and no one not even myself has been able to update my account! FIX THIS! I do not like this card and rather not use it

The direct deposit card and account default issued to every dasher after their first delivery, really does more than just allow your Doordash earnings to be put on that debit card, it also tracks and shows proof of your weekly, monthly, and individual dash proof of income for renting a house or buying a car or getting the atm fee free cash withdrawals at CVS and Walgreens, it also lets you look back at every day and the total dashes done that day has an insanely cool interactive cash back rewards that I love to use purchasing gas for my car for dashing and get cash added after each purchase and ability to select to save up the rewards for a while get a nice $9 weekend gas reward added to my DasherDirect account total balance. I can transfer money to my wife or her account, pay bills directly for utilities and schedule payments for future pay as well as select a goal account to move money into as an additional incentive to use the card and payment system, almost eliminates need for a bank account from a traditional employer paid direct deposit checks keeps exact earnings statements for filing your tax returns and monthly income proof of income statements that getting a newer car is now able to be shown through the detailed statements to get financing that if I used a regular bank account, would be paying maintenance fees, transfer fees even having to wait a week to access my earnings now easily accessible after I complete a daily single dash or break up my dashing to keep track of my shifts and hours worked each time I end my dash the funds are instantly available to take out at an atm while using a red card customer order to purchase myself in cash withdraw from a cvs or Walgreens dash, or use the direct debit card to pay my cell phone bill after a days dash is done love the options that dasher direct gives you.

Dasher Direct is an easy way to have your Doordash Dasher money paid to you. Any Dasher is able to chose in their Dasher app to schedule their earnings from dashing to be automatically deposited into their Dasher Direct app at the end of every dash. Being able to deposit earnings into the Dasher Direct app after every dash allows money payment to be quick and you are able to be payed per delivery period or per day rather than per week. In the Dasher Direct app you are then able to transfer all of your earnings to your bank account through a manual transfer if someone wants to. Dasher Direct is also a good app because you are able to easily see your work earnings because they are visibly displayed at the top of your earnings tab along with any rewards money or points you have as well. Another bonus of having the Dasher Direct app is that it enables you to get the Dasher Direct debit card which has the rewards that you are able to see in the Dasher Direct app. The 10% cash back on all gas purchases from the beginning of June through August 31 is a huge reward, and there are always some rewards that come with the card. The Dasher Direct app again works pretty well because you can easily see all of your earnings, make a transfer to your bank account that will probably take about two days, get some good rewards, see monthly statements about your earnings, is condensed and does not have a bunch of tabs or a lot of information to scroll around, can be secure because you usually have to enter your email and password to always log on, you can always take almost any amount of money out of the app at arm’s using your Dasher Direct debit card, you can search for low fee or no fee atm’s that are near you in the Dasher Direct app, you can view your account information and personal information and change them in the app, and the app usually isn’t slow and is pretty quick and doesn’t lag.

This is not a review of Doordash the company or, the driver app. This is strictly a review of the DasherDirect App on Apple IOS or my iPhone. I think that it is very user friendly and integrates well with the direct deposit information and I don’t personally use the card to get funds from an ATM or use it online right after my shift and that’s only because I don’t currently have the need but, the simple fact that I CAN get access to my pay that I earned, for example an hour beforehand, during one of my dashing shifts delivering items, is unlike any other job I have ever had besides ie… mowing someone’s lawn and they hand you cash when you’re done and that was when I was a kid. You’ve made that type of payment for services that I or any doordash employee, possible with the basically immediate direct deposit into the DasherDirect account upon finishing your shift/dash. Every company I have ever worked for, if you don’t have a week or two week hold-back, on your paycheck in order to make it easier and correct for the payroll dept, then I would be shocked but to have immediate access to your funds the minute after your shift is over is remarkable and is based on the type of pay a waiter/waitress makes when getting tips in cash. The app tells you what amounts were deposited and if there are multiple transactions in one day it’s all separated and also graphed to show your average you are making and it’s a great piece of software. I just gave a 4 star rating because I cannot pay at the gas pump with my card which is frustrating and I am not able to sign up with one of your bonus items that is the Visa rewards part it won’t allow me to get setup and I can’t figure out why so if it’s not available then it shouldn’t be advertised for us. On the other hand the other instant discounts available without signing up or using anything else but the card for a discount of some sort is very nice too. I’m happy with the app all around.

Don’t use DasherDirect! I wouldn’t advise anyone to get/use this card.

Here’s why:
- Took 3.5 weeks to come in the mail
- They didn’t credit me for the inconvenience
- Disabled my card for 4 days when it came
- At the same time, disabled my virtual card
- You can’t add your bank account to the card
- You can’t use this card at your banks ATM
- You can only use it at gas station ATMS
- At the gas station they charge you $5 for any transaction
- Have to request in advance to use card at gas station ATM
- Doesn’t pair with third party apps like cashapp
- No direct number for DasherDirect so you have to call doordash and ask to be transferred (takes 45 minutes to over 1.5 hours)

DoorDash Review:
- Just don’t doordash!
- Consistent cycle of delivering orders and filling your tank (with little to no profit)
- Horrible customer service and a HUGE language barrier
- They send out text messages for bonus pay opportunities and don’t pay you
- No logical explanation even when transferred to “excelation department”
(- I even emailed screenshots of how I was qualified, told by several employees that I was qualified and then they kept copy & paste the same email denying my request for the $200 they promised)
- They refuse to put you on the phone with management and if you get lucky 2 hours later, the same person will answer and impersonate a manager
- When they say someone will reach out to you through email, they don’t!
- They don’t answer after your first 30 days during deliveries (so if you need help, forget it)
- Don’t cover wear & tear/ accident coverage
- Will often send you to pick up a order someone has already delivered
- Will say you’ll receive 1/2 the order amount and I promise I’ve never seen the money and it’s happened to me about 5x

Overall, I’ve had an issue almost every time I’ve doordashed after my first 2 weeks. Every single time my issue has not been resolved. I could really go on but I know this is a lot to read. But having 6+ years of management background, this company seriously is a scam! Lol They definitely make it seem like a great opportunity but it’s not a good way to make money.

Have been with company for a little over a week .Was great the first few days making close to $700.00 .Again (few meaning 4) days .Then the runs became not as easy ,a few glitches in the system .Unsure about certain things ..But instead of giving up I remembered those first few days ..Put that together with each and every time I had an issue I’d contact the support team .Truly the ones who hold it together and keep the engine running .They were (are) always patient with me As I get confused ,aggravated and worked up over something not going right ..But the team always holds on and listens ..always helps me figure it out and no matter how long I need them to listen ,hold on..walk thru it with me. ..if disconnected they always call ME back not me trying to call them. Now what job does that ‍♂️ Think real hardThe answer is none ..They always are considerate and understanding ..My money has not yet been short ..the process of things to set up to reach my funds make sense THE BONUSES a true gift for hard work .in a week and a day or 2 I’ve reached over 200 deliveries ..Again I..me /my making this a real job not just a means to grab a few Dollars here n there but a real structured situation ..Over a $1200 in a week ..all deliveries aren’t huge all deliveries aren’t great pay..but take them ..go that extra step ,,take that incentive ..and create your brand..market yourself not just to the company but to society as a whole being courteous ..outgoing ,,helpful and consistent …The choice is yours and the lessons ,,knowledge ,,and pride a person can really take from this is more than what people realize is involved when the name DoorDash is said…Take pride ..Keep a clean ride ..and move with a confident stride …I guarantee if done correctly the days will glide .Always Remember this is not just a chance to make good money but to be a good person and help those whom are actually in need ..Your deliveries are feeding people ..Makes their day easier ..helps get things done they don’t have time for ..and DoorDash doesn’t just forget you once it’s done ..they reward with incentive extra money is always an option #worksmarternotharder

Been dashing for 2 months now, working 3-4 days per week, 15-20 hours per week. Overall I enjoy it and will continue.

From an improvement side, the directions map has been wrong a few times, causing me loss of time. A restaurant was closed once, and one time a restaurant had 3 of 5 staff walk out, causing an hour to pickup a 2 min meal. Also, a couple times someone took my order and that doesn’t make sense. I have only had one issue where the software froze and I was receiving text messages for orders but they were unable to reach me outside of text.

Something has to be improved on the acceptance rate. I tried hard to get my acceptance rate to a 97% but at times I’m forced to deliver a $3 tip 16 miles away. When it’s not worth the gas it takes to get me there, doordash needs to step up and help the driver or not offer something that ridiculous on a regular basis.

The offers seem to always take me out of my zone as well. When I sign up for one zone I would like to stay in it. I am driving over a 100 miles in some 2.5 hr dashes.

If you average $23.75 per hour, after gas and taxes it’s not much. You cannot make a living off of it. But I do like what doordash offers. I really wish doordash help more with gas costs. I can dash for $70 but spend $30 in gas.

Very pleased at most restaurants as they have embraced the change and have dasher pickup procedure solid. Very few places struggle with the change. Very low percentage of the time I wait for the food, but it’s great the customer gets hot food.

Very pleased overall with doordash and how it’s moving forward. It’s always great when your time is considered and you just have to leave food on porches rather then handing to someone. At time my dash ended very close to my house and that’s great.

I had an issue using the red card for the first time and the $5.99 Walgreens order was taking out of my money. I’m having a hard time communicating that to dasher help. But the one time I needed help the help line chat fixed my issue timely.

I love the flexibility, and enjoy learning new areas of the map. This is a side job for me for fun and extra money and it is helping.

Please Read New Dashers:

DoorDash is NOT a job to get if you need money right away. If you’re just looking for some extra cash and you have money ALREADY... THEN start DoorDashing. This company makes it EXTREMELY hard to get the money you earn from deliveries for a good week after you’ve started dashing. Again, it’s good side money but if you’re looking to make money while you’re waiting on, let’s say, a paycheck or bank troubles, DO NOT start DoorDashing. You WILL be worse off. The Dasher app locks your ability to obtain your money through fast pay for a week. Weekly transfers take, you guessed it, up to a WEEK. Daily Transfers through Dasher Direct come within a day but make SURE that you set your Dasher up to deposit your money through the Direct app because even with a DasherDirect account, it’s not automatic and they do not inform you this in any way at all. You will wake up the next morning wondering why you don’t have money in your DasherDirect account, wait 2 hours on DasherDirect customer service queue hold for them to have to walk you through a process that shouldn’t even exist. And then once it goes to your DasherDirect account, you either have to wait for the card to arrive or move the money in the account to another account which takes ANOTHER 1-2 days. The virtual card only works for... you guessed it... VIRTUAL PURCHASES. Wanna buy some items off Amazon? Sure go ahead. Wanna pay for your GAS so you can do more dashes? You need to wait for the card to arrive. The virtual card is NOT compatible with Apple Wallert and is virtually USELESS. Again, Dashing itself WILL earn you money but if you are looking for quick cash, DO NOT DoorDash. You will end up LOSING money doing dashes waiting to get paid. Start DoorDash when you’re financially stable because they will completely SCREW you over while you make every effort possible just to make the money back that you earned.

The card is NOT compatible with pretty much any virtual wallet and won’t work on Cashapp if you think that’s a “work-around”. Your money WILL be stuck in their possession for days after you earn it until you become a regular Dasher, or until you ignore their efforts to get you to Dash while you wait for your first payment.

The app itself is not terrible, just extremely redundant for someone who wants to be able to use their money in an actually reasonably timely manner. Maybe when the card becomes Apple Wallet compatible or doesn’t take days just to transfer, then this app will be useful. Until then, it’s completely useless.

The app itself is very user-friendly and I didn’t have any trouble, whatsoever, when signing up. It’s very easy to navigate around. Also, I have several ‘free’ ATM’s near me, one being at Ralph’s which is where I shop!

I’m very happy with this new card because I don’t like the $1.99 fee just to use FastPay. Other delivery services only charge .50, a huge difference. I kept praying to God about this problem and now this rolls out!

I will leave an update once I actually use the card, but I wanted to give my review of my experience thus far.

UPDATE: I got the card quickly and it is great! The search for free atms through this app works perfectly bc I tried it. But if its not listed, such as Arco who does have the all point atm but it isn’t free. Just use the atm search this app provides and use the free ones it shows you. I thought all the ‘all point’ atm’s were free bc they advertise that on their website, but some places it will charge you and without warning. So just bc it’s an all point atm doesn’t mean it will be free. But this app is great bc payfare or Direct Dasher already did the work of finding this out and provides an easy atm finder in your area!

This card works great, the money i made for the day is deposited late at night so I have it available by the morning. It works great as a visa for purchases. I love how i can get the money out for free at Ralphs (there are plenty other free atm’s as well), and then deposit the money into my bank (atm). I don’t mind doing this if it means I can save between $50 and $60 per month due to DD’s high fast pay fees.

I’m really surprised at the low reviews bc i received my visa quickly and it works perfectly! No more fast pay fee of $1.99 per day! I like to have my money quickly bc i tuck money aside into my checkings daily for my rent. The app itself is very user-friendly and I personally haven’t had any issues. This app and visa card deserves 5 stars! Oh and yes you can use this card at a Costco but the money will be held for at least a day or two, maybe longer, and it could be a prepaid amount of anywhere from $50 to $100, even if you only spent $30 for gas there. Some people wouldn’t mind this if it means they save a little more money. But I personally don’t want a hold on my money so I won’t be using this card for my gas at Costco.

Lastly, I can totally transfer the money to my bank via the app for free but it could take a day or two which im not willing to do. So i prefer getting the money from the atm and re-depositing it into my bank.

Thanks to DasherDirect and Payfare for this card to save me all this money, due to no longer having to pay the fast pay fees, which add up! ❤️

Honestly its a great way to save money. PERIOD! And I love the fact that a lot of money Is being saved on gas when prices for gas are rising uncontrollably so it’s nice to afford valuable necessities when spending fluctuates. I just have a slight problem when it comes to reminding myself that I should use it for prime expenses such as food and fuel. I have a hard time remembering that this particular card is capable of putting money back in my pocket when I use it to purchase gasoline. And with Covid coming out this year, things have been difficult for everyone all around. It can be hard for most people to keep their previous jobs because everyone keeps getting sick. So more and more volunteers are signing up to help deliver food and get paid. When they discover this dasher card, they will be able to get paid at the end of each day, but without being charged a lot of fees. However, this card has a few downers against dashers like me who depend on fast paychecks for quick and easy cash. One of the downers I am referring to would be, that you aren’t able to cash out whenever you want. You actually are forced to wait until 2am the next morning for the deposit to post to your account.(Unless you switch payouts and use your debit card which then charges a fee.) And when your life is crazy like mine, you don’t necessarily want to wait that long for money to be transferred so you can do things like, get gas or food or even pay bills that you need to take care of right away. Fast pay, however, lets you have the capability to cash out instantly, one of the features I love the most. As a result of cashing out immediately, is that you are required to pay a slight fee, which is alright for some people who can make decent money but it can be a problem for others who cant dash as often because of health problems for example. If doordash is able to pay anyone for driving and delivering food, then why would we want to pay a fee to access our own money? Just another reason why dashers don’t like to fast pay all the time. It’s almost like the dasher card and all debit cards need to switch identities. If we were able to cash out instantly on our dasher cards, then We would dash more often and be willing to go out and make a lot more money throughout the day. I’m sure a lot of other dashers feel the same way. Just something to consider when anyone is thinking about applying for the dasher direct card. The dasher card can also be applied at many different places, so dashers never have to worry about their card getting rejected by faulty systems that don’t want to process this particular card, when most systems deal with instant transactions anyway. Another problem would be that We have to wait until 12am every day to access any money that We have earned from the day before. If We were ever in any type of emergency, We would be stuck waiting for money to deposit so We would be in a very bad predicament at that moment, which can’t be any good for anyone. It can be hard for some dashers to wait so long to get ahold of the money that they worked so hard for. And if you enjoy dashing in the mornings, waiting that long can be hard for anyone and everyone. It needs to be more of an instant process. They do give you the option to fast pay but then we are dealing with those fees I was talking about earlier, but overtime it can be quite an expense. But, I guess if you absolutely needed the money that bad you could just pay the fee and have it instantly deposited on your debit card. I just feel like doordash is making so many changes to their payout system, it can be hard to keep up sometimes too. Not to mention when you update your debit card info in the app it takes a full 7 days for all banks to process doordash as a reliable source of income. So during those 7 days you are not able to use fast pay anyway. Some people depend on using their card right away and without any fees being charged as well. Honestly, if I was going to recommend this card to dashers, Overall, I would say yes. Truly, it is a great product. I would like dashers to know exactly what happens when they start using it so they don’t run into unexpected problems making things hard for them to use the card. So that is why I am writing such a long review. I love the idea that this card exists, i just think its something that should be considered when thinking about dashers low incomes, high living costs, and rough cuts to small business owners as well. Its a great tool to use while being a dasher.

On 1/25/24 I filled a dispute for unauthorized charges on my dasher direct card totaling $483.80. It was regarding 2 merchants, AT&T($178.00) and Skillz($305.80). I was told by an AT&T representative to file a dispute with my bank in order to receive a refund and I provided Payfare a screenshot of this conversation. I also provided a notarized statement. On 2/26/24 I received an email that my claim was denied due to AT&T providing documentation and Skillz provided a refund for one transaction. I immediately asked for the documentation but they denied my request TWICE. Payfare wrongly denied my dispute from Skillz($305.80) and refuse to explain why. Every explanation I get when I complain ONLY says something about the AT&T charges and just conveniently forgets to mention the Skillz charges.

On November 5 I went to the BP gas station on Kirkwood Highway in Newark Delaware. My card was declined. My Dasher card was declined because I put the wrong ZIP Code in so when inside, and I tried it again it was declined inside at this point I went back outside and checked my Dasher app, I was charged when I was at the pump $7.45. I’ve been trying to get my $7.45 back since November 5 now it’s past 10 days and her saying they won’t refund me why didn’t they refund me on November 5 when I called them I even contacted the store the store will not help me they don’t understand what I’m saying Nobody’s helping me I want my money back I just need help.

I like the concept of the card and it’s great if you’re not on a rush, but sometimes I needed my money right away and now I have to wait until the next day to go to an atm or wait 2 business days to transfer to my bank. If I had known that they were going to give me fast pay I would never have applied for this card.

I bought gas today at Chevron I was credited no rewards for my gasoline. I should’ve gotten several dollars worth I do not believe I have gotten the correct amount of rewards for any of my gasoline purchases so far. Pretty sad as I’ve been doing this over a month and I’m just now realized that I was getting short changed.

PAY VERY CLOSE ATTENTION to your pay i have no bad reviews and i take all an 2$ orders but the last few weeks money is disappearing and i get no help from customer service some act nice but still end up hanging up with no solution! Im not happy food is being taken out of my kids mouth that was honestly earned! Be safe an aware fellow drivers!

I’m up to almost 400 dollars that DoorDash owes me since signing up for this card. I’ve activated it and Support doesn’t know what to tell me. Fast pay isn’t an option on my app since selecting this new card. Pathetic. I need my money and no body is helping. They also say your money is automatically transferred after a dash ends. This is false. Get it together please.

Doordash continues to refuse to pay their dashers quickly even with this card. I want to be able to transfer my funds to another account which I should easily be able to do with Zelle. Bank 2 Bank transfers take forever depending on who your bank is so of course it takes almost a week for the transfer to come through for me. Please just work with Zelle to make transfers free and quick.

The app was great, I only have a prepaid card (even though it has a bank account and routing number) so I can’t use the cash out feature and this is the only way of getting my money daily. I just discovered today that 31.17 is missing from my account, no charge to explain it, just missing. Now I’m wondering how many other times this has happened and I didn’t catch it. Do not get this card!

This is a third party card. My money has been “misplaced” Doordash is unable to retrieve it. They are saying it’s on the Dasher direct card. DasherDirect is saying they don’t see it in their system. & you can never speak with customer service. It’s always “they” are busy and will call you back. Then you get a random email saying “sorry we missed you” stick to direct deposit or pay the $1.99 cash out fee.

The customer support is from another country and they can’t help you. I wasn’t paid daily once so I called them and they redirected me to door dash. Door dash told me to call my bank, which is the card service. It’s a complete waste of time. I lost a days pay and it’s not in my dasher earnings or my dasher direct card. They are looking into it but I never got a confirmation email. I honestly think it’s a scam.

Can only get money 3-4 hours after 12 am...Also, cash back savings for gas are super micro like barely returns anything. This card cannot be used many places because it’s literally another “prepaid card,” no good value here really.

***ID STICK TO:$1.99 Daily Payout because this is not worth your time.
*I now have to wait 7 days no $ just to switch out debit cards again.

This app doesn’t load more then half the time I open it. Always giving me an error message and showing that my balance is $0, when I know I have money on there. Also the payouts don’t even come at 12am like they say, not even when accounting for time zone differences! This app is terribly slow and glitchy! Please fix this ASAP so dashers get instant access to their money! All around terrible app that needs to be updated.

So, I got the card and it says to scan the bar code to activate. Easy enough I scanned the page it says to call the number and I did. Nope. Number is no good. Go to the Dasher App and hit activate the card... it takes you to the app to download. Ok so it says to put in your number and it will send you a text. Nope it didn’t send the text. I can’t reach out to the help desk because I can’t get into the app. SMH! So frustrating!

I wouldn’t know if it’s great or not. I’m waiting on my card to come in. I’m a new dasher. I chose this way because of the convenience of receiving my dasher pay. You have a choice to activate before you receive your card, through the app. But when I receive my code via text. I put it in, and the number pad will not go away for me to hit next. It covers it. I touch the screen and it want go away. Quite frustrated with not being able to access my funds.

I’m not sure if it is Doordash or DasherDirect but one of them are liars. It states that you will receive your money within 2-3 hours using their service after cashing out. Lie! They automatically cash you out at midnight and your money doesn’t show up until about 5am. The only way to use my own bank is to opt for weekly pay. Not enough Free ATMs. Some even charge. My bank did not charge me and I have many ATM options. I am disappointed with the card and it’s service.

I am so incredibly annoyed with this whole situation. I added this card as an additional card for payment as a back up. But upon adding it, it deleted the primary bank card I use to get paid and will not allow me to add it back. Have not been able to get paid on my time, which is one of the main reasons I started doing this job. I am very frustrated and no one seems to know how to fix the issue. It’s like the system wants me to only use the company card and not allowing me to make that choice. Ugh so annoying!

I would not recommend using this at all I’ve had problems with my account for over a month now every time I finish dashing it shows that my available balance is 0.00. Deleted the app retried everything still doing the same thing. After talking with support they still can’t help you. As soon as I can get my money pulled from this account I will be deleting my account with DoorDash and just adding a personal bank because this is ridiculous. Nobody wants there money being played with smh, and support does nothing to help. What a joke!

I just signed up and been approved but looking at these reviews I don’t think I am going to use this service. Now I will say (and I’m praying I don’t jinx myself) my fast pay option is still there but I’m guessing when I activate my dasher card it will disappear? If so I am not going to use it bc I am seeing all the problems and I really do t need to wait til 5am the next morning to get my money. The whole reason i use fast pay is bc I need money when I need it. One thing I feel dd needs to do is let us cash out as often as we want. ESP when sometimes the fast pay doesn’t go through. It’s not fair to make us choose one time to get paid. We should be able to control when and how often.

I already signed up from my doordash app and got my card delivered but I have not been able to register on the dasher direct app, it keeps saying a code was sent to my number but no code came in even after trying everyday for about a week now! I also changed my number already on the doordash app but still it keeps saying it’s not same number which I can understand, since I signed up the dasher direct with my old number. I have tried countless time to get help from the doordash customer service but none have been of any help. I even asked if they can deactivate/cancel my dasher direct registration so probably I can redo it with my new number but still no help. Now I just have a Visa business card I can’t use!
