I was subjected to public humiliation and verbal abuse by a kitchen employee when I simply and politely inquired about a perishable item (methi thepla) dated November 10, 2025. The employee’s response was not only unprofessional but hostile, using cheap and demeaning language in Hindi in front of multiple witnesses and my minor children (ages 5 and 8).
When I attempted to inform the manager of the situation, the response was dismissive and lacked any immediate attempt to de-escalate the situation or hold the offending employee accountable.
This incident is compounded by the fact that this is not an isolated issue concerning food quality. My family previously purchased stale paneer gravy from this store that was visibly infected with fungus. I have photographic evidence of this prior health code violation.
The behavior I experienced is a direct violation of basic business ethics and customer service standards, causing significant emotional distress.
