Purchased items online went to the Fairview Heights, IL store to return items I was given store credit without being told... I asked why they informed me they did not have to do that due to it being a seasonal item. I asked were was the policy for this they said it was at the bottom of the then receipt with my merchandise credit was now on. I informed them it does state this online or on my original receipt. They then tell me well you either do the return today or not at all!., I called the customer service number spoke with a Patrick who said he will have someone call me back that was higher up.. Received a call back from a Matthew who said he wasn't sure how long it would take but give him a few days... That was 11/06...Today I called back 11/14 into customer service to follow up.. No one can speak clear English.. Guy named Yada was very rude and unruly... had to call back spoke with another non English individual and it went nowhere. Called back again spoke with a Pam.. still a language barrier she transfers me to a store of her choice...a Party city on Lemay Ferry, MO Dashia the person claimed to be the acting manager was so very disrespectful and unknowledgeable very nonchalant attitude she proceeds to tell me they really don't know what they are supposed to do because corporate never knows anything either. After I asked to speak with an actual manager the lady was saying things like anyways and whatever then proceeded to hang up on me. All I want the company to do is refund my money back the way it was given to them. I was within the 30day return policy and I am just baffled all this kick back and lack of customer service that I am receiving. I spend too much money with Party City annually.. and this is the Thanks I get... Can't get anyone to communicate properly or provide a resolution. I am sure this too will fall on deaf ears.. They will never get any more of my business.. I am sure little ol me will not make a difference but this is terrible terrible business.

Desired outcome: Process my money back to my account or cut a check!
