So, I recently went to the Papaya store in Orlando (Vineland) and let me tell you, it was not a pleasant experience. The managers there were so rude, I couldn't believe it. Plus, the place was absolutely full of mold. I mean, I understand that it can be hard to keep these kinds of places spotless, but seriously? It was pretty bad.

But that wasn't even the worst of it. The employees were expected to eat in a tiny space that was completely infested with mold. It was gross, to say the least. And to top it off, they were still using good old-fashioned paper checks! Who does that these days? And to make matters even worse, our checks were super late.

Now, let's talk about the merchandise. It's cheap. Like, really cheap. And there's a strict no refund policy, so once you buy something there, you're stuck with it. I definitely wouldn't recommend working there or shopping there, to be honest.

All in all, my experience at Papaya Clothing was just terrible. I really wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

They hold onto the money that's supposed to go to workers for the services they did, and when they leave, forget about getting paid. This problem starts in the accounting department in California, where the people there are a bunch of crooks who don't give a damn about the people who work hard for them. They make up all sorts of excuses why they can't pay you. It's disgusting and frustrating. Something needs to be done about this situation or the company is going to go down the drain. One of the worst people there is named Elsie. Watch out for her.

So I went to Papaya Clothing for the first time and darn, it was a bummer. This lady Michele was workin' there and she was one rude person, no manners and didn't wanna help us find what we were lookin' for. It was already past 7 in the evening at the Springfield, Alexandria store on September 29th. It's a shame 'cause I heard so many good things about the quality clothes and prices here.

Thankfully, the cashier before her was a sweetheart and helped us out. She was a young, short, black girl with some serious politeness and courtesy. What a difference in service, ya know? I'm not one to use color language but the mean one who didn't wanna help was a white lady whose name I think is Michele.

Overall, the clothes were dope but the service left a sour taste in my mouth. Maybe next time I'll hit up a different location or hope Michele gets some A+ manners training.

In the end, I learned my lesson. I will never order from them again because they just don't care about their customers. Ita not like they even try to fix the problem. They just say too bad and move on with their day. It doesn't matter how cute their stuff might look on the website, because in the end you might as well go to a thrift store and get clothes that aren't trying to scam you. If only I had checked the reviews on Google before I made my purchase, I could have saved myself the trouble.

I eventually received another email from their customer service team asking me for a tracking number after I had sent the package back to them. Honestly, I don't have high hopes for getting my refund at this point.

Overall, based on this experience, I'd say that Papaya Clothing is highly unreliable as a brand. They promise their clothes to be fashionable and trendy, but fall short when it comes to design and material. Moreover, their customer service is terrible and one wouldn't expect to have such unpleasant interactions when simply trying to return items. In short, I would strongly suggest that you avoid buying from Papaya Clothing, as it's not worth the headache.

I gotta say, I thought Papaya Clothing was gonna be the bomb.com but boy was I wrong. The clothes are like those cheap knockoffs you buy off Wish. You know the ones I'm talking about, the ones that are cute online but when you get them in person they look like they're made out of plastic. Yeah, those ones.

And get this, I only received halfway what I paid for all the items. Why do I have to pay to ship back your mistake and still only get partial credit?

So like, just a word of warning, buy at your own discretion. Don't be fooled by those cute outfits on their website. If you read all the factual bad reviews, you'll see what I mean. I spent almost 200 bucks and had to return almost half the items cuz they were the wrong size and not true to size. And their return policy sucks. If I knew that, I never would have ordered so much at once.

Seriously though, save your time and money and just shop elsewhere. Papaya Clothing is not worth the headache.

I also brought to their attention that the clothing was not made in the US as advertised because the Asian shipping label was not covered. This was fraud and false advertising, plain and simple.

I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the item and the way they are handling my request for a refund. I do not recommend ordering anything from Papaya Clothing based on my experience. It's a shame because they have some cute stuff on their website, but the quality and customer service just don't live up to expectations.
