Premier Radiology

Paid bill last year, have copy of check, were sent to collections anyway. I have called multiple times this year and they won't return my calls. My son had an *** done at Premier Radiology in *** in Nov 2019. We received a bill in Dec for $151.71. We pay our bills through our ***,***. We requested payment through***, and check number XXXXXXXXX was sent on 12/19. It was debited from our account on 12/23. In the spring of 2020, we received a notice of overdue bill from Premier Radiology (under their billing name, Middle *** Imaging), and I called and received VM. I left the account number PMRXXXXXX, along with the date of service, patient name, and the check number and date it was issued. No one called me back, so I assumed they had resolved the issue. In June, I received a notice from a collections agency. I was incredibly frustrated since we sent a check when the original bill was issued and also responded with all the details and no one even called us back. I provided the collections agency with a copy of the check in June, and they said they would provide it to Premier. Last week I received another call from the collections company. She said Premier said to tell us to send payment. I asked her about the canceled check and she said they sent Premier that and she doesn't know how I can resolve this since they have a copy of the check and can see the payment was made. She suggested I called Premier. I have called 3 times, each time sent to voicemail and no one has called me back. I don't know how else to resolve this, so I an reaching out here. I also want to make sure our credit hasn't been harmed since we paid as soon as the bill was issued. Premier's customer service has been atrocious. The fact that they won't answer the phone or return phone calls is insane. They owe us an apology for how they have handled this matter. Thanks
