On June 15 I contacted Pacific Financial to obtain a QUOTE for a surety bond of $75,000.00. An agent for the company took my request and emailed me information to complete. The agent did NOT disclose that my request would be a hard hit on my credit report seeing I only requested an insurance quote. The agent did NOT obtain my approval or CONSENT to run my credit for an Installment Loan nor did she ever indicate the company was providing me a loan. I contacted the company and spoke with a representative and expressed my extreme dissatisfaction that none of the above mentioned was disclosed to me and I did not approve. The representative did not provide any resolution. I'm concerned the company is practicing unfair and deceptive practices.
